First time, good communication - she let me know when things got cancelled and why. I booked for hybrid volume lash, wispy cateye. Found out she only carried C or CC curl and synthetic mink. Finished with cateye, hybrid C curl max 14mm within work regulation. Loved it. Worn on my tour in Japan (attached photo in plane and outside after landing) only lasted 1 week :( Returned for 2nd service, experimenting with the wispy spider eye... she used CC curl and I totally didnt realize CC curl at 14mm doll eyes makes my round eyes crazy... I'm more of subtle, natural look. She spent an extra hour to help me, take down some on the middle and I really appreciate the service... I tried to love it but the kids at work asked what happened to my lashes and if I went to a costume party :( I didnt take a photo to share til after 1 week of most of it falling out. (Attached photo where I have a few left of the volume wisp spider eye , wearing black shirt with hair down.) Trying to schedule 3rd appt since April 5th when the gaps started showing..and April 12th how it looks in attached photo wearing black. Really looked forward to what MaryAnne had in mind for when we'd book next appt. I definitely will stick to cateye... but more natural because the volumes fall out of my eyes so easy in 1 week it's not worth paying $160 (before tip) if I only keep for 1-2 week. Being a girl who gets vertigo easy (esp now a days) it's hard to find a quality lash place who does work on a reclining chair. My first lash extension many moons ago, was on a massage table and I laid flat. Needless to say, i freaked out 2 minutes in and scared the lash tech. I also had a hard time keeping my eyes close the rest of the time. Then I found an award winning place who did it on a reclining chair. However, the second I get there, it's "revolving door" time. Although I didn't freak out, I would freak out inside cause I felt my vertigo coming on (the multiple times I been there). I wouldn't be able to relax and what not. Every time I left, I would question going back. But I would, because I felt there were no other place to go. Then the lash angels heard my prayer! Found Lashed by Maryanne on IG. When I got there she made me felt really relax. I was able to lay still for for the full 1.5 hours without worrying about my vertigo. For the price too, I loved the volume of my lashes. I had never gotten eyelash extensions before and I'm so glad I chose Maryanne to do them for me for the first time! She does not rush and there is no limit to the lash count, she just fills till it's completely full! You can tell she really takes her time to make sure every lash gets an extension and is in place, so you'll forsure be making the most of your money if you book with her. She even has customer loyalty stamp cards which make the prices even more reasonable than they already are! Her touch is very light which made it really easy for me to get a little lash nap in. She is also very knowledgeable and gives you the scoop on what to expect which made me feel more comfortable being a first-timer. I've already gone back in for a fill after four weeks and have had no problems with the glue or lashes themselves. I also have not seen any damage at all to my natural lashes! Her retention is really good as I can say for myself and you can see on her Instagram page. She always gets back to me very quickly and accommodates me as best as she can with her extremely busy agenda. One tip I have is to check her scheduling website for an appointment way in advance! I found Maryanne here on yelp. Texted her for availability and she answered promptly. The day of my appointment was crazy hectic so I let her know I'd be late and if I needed to reschedule. She was so kind and allowed me to reschedule an hour later than originally booked. Park over at the Times shopping center, nearest to Firestone and let her know you've parked so she can give you directions. She isn't in the shopping center FYI so just know that ahead of time. Maryanne herself is truly awesome. She is sweet and funny and seriously weilds some lash magic! She is detailed, skillful, and really knows what she's doing. Maryanne is amazing and detailed oriented and takes her time at every appointment. Before I found her I tried two different lash artist and both of them weren't that great, from lashes falling off the same day to too much glue being used. Needless to say I stopped getting my lashes done for an entire year because of them. But then somehow on IG I came across Maryanne's page and her work caught my eye. I followed her and studied her work for a month before I even made an appointment. Once I made the appointment and met her which by the way she's soooo sweet and her baby is the cutest, I fell in love. I got her volume lashes because I like to go fluffy or go home. :) They were so full and perfectly placed for my eyes. And they're also pretty light especially for how many lashes are on.
