Hana has been my go-to lash technician for about 3 years now. Not only is she is sweet, accommodating, and responsive - but she also does quality work. I receive constant compliments about my 'natural' looking lashes. Though it varies, my lashes tend to last approximately 3-4 weeks when properly cared for with minimal fall out and the lash hairs are matte/not shiny which is my preference. I had reached out to Hana previously to schedule an appointment due to all the high reviews but wasn't able to at that time back at the end of August. I was sent a price list then and kept that for reference. I normally get my lashes done by my mom who is also a highly skilled and experienced lash technician but when our schedules don't work out I'll get it done by others around the area. Remembering the reviews for Hana and the price list I had, I scheduled an appointment for today for the hybrid set at $120. A bit pricey for this area but not out of this world. I was told when I arrived removal of previous lashes would be $30. Since I only had a couple left on each eye and needed them removed for a new set, I understood and agreed to pay that. Once I was done though I was then told I owed an additional $120 on top of the $50 deposit I placed earlier in the day to hold my reservation. I asked to clarify why the pricing was $120 extra if the set was $120 + $30 removal for a total of $150 so I would owe a balance of $100. I was then informed I was sent a price list from 4 years ago and that it was now $140 for the hybrid lash set. I said I was not informed of this change and came because of the $120 price I was originally told. She simply told me sorry and that's it. I was a little stunned because If I was given the wrong price to begin with it should be honored as it's not my fault. I hesitantly paid the $120 difference and still gave a $20 tip on top. I normally tip a full 20% but really couldn't justify the $190 I just spent on my hybrid lashes. I have never paid that much before not even when I lived in Manhattan NY. The lashes look good but nothing super spectacular or amazing to make me want to spend that much each time. I honestly felt scammed because nail salons always do this trick where they're not transparent with pricing until you've already received your service. I also would like to note that for that price point I would expect to be in a nice boutique lash shop not a small room in the back of a busy nail salon in a run down plaza in La Mirada. Overall, I am satisfied with My lashes but disappointed in the customer service. I'm a business owner as well and would have 100% offered to honor the price given to my client or some kind of first time discount. Both of which I was not offered from here. I'm sorry to say I won't be returning solely due to the fact that the prices are a bit too steep for me given there are many other spots around that are much more affordable and reasonable for the same service. Pros: very quick application, no burning, nice lashes Cons: Really high prices above market rate in the area and no first time discount. read more

The first time that I went, I had on another set of lashes from another nail shop (they looked horrible) and Hana was honest and said that she was not going to be able to remove the lashes and give me a new set during the same appointment because she did not want to rush. So I just had the awful lashes removed and went home, and made an appointment for the next day with her. She then gave me the "hybrid" lash extensions and she did an absolutely gorgeous job. She will ask you what service you would like and will give you her honest opinion when necessary. She was very gentle, the lashes she use are faux mink. She does not use mink or synthetic lashes. I got the hybrid combo of natural & volume and they look amazing. More importantly they feel weightless. I already got compliments on them a few hours leaving her salon. The pricing is very good for the quality of lashes you are getting! She's certified by Long Mi Lashes. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions so I didn't know what to expect.
