I booked my appt on a Sunday, which was convenient for me. I did like that Mimi beauty was flexible. I arrived a little late because my GPS definitely does not know how to navigate to the shop. Since it was my first time, I was very nervous. Mimi was nice, and I know im not her usual clientele, and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable. She looked at my face, and asked what I wanted then went to work. Now I probably add because it was extremely hard for me to lay down for almost an hour. When I tell you I was struggling lol But to make a long story short Mimi reminded me that I'm getting individual eyelashes and it takes time. Noted!! Here for a review on her professionalism when it comes to tattooing eyebrows. My mom and aunt spent several sessions with her to get a color correction. It's really easy to set expectations upfront on what is needed to get the color corrected and etc. Cost is not an issue and as a salon owner, you can not back track on a timeline that you had already set for your clients simply because you are too busy. All of the appointments were scheduled well ahead of time, months in advance, to which she confirmed each time. She was neglectful and highly unprofessional. Not only did she not respond to their text messages to schedule further sessions, I had to reach out in lieu of them to get a response from Mimi. It was as if she was avoiding a service she offered and answered to a seemingly new client, aka my phone number. My mom drove down for over an hour for an appointment she had "forgotten." She was adamant that she could not take the appointment even though she confirmed prior to her "losing her phone." I am not sure the last time iCloud was unable to adequately restore your contacts and messages with a lost or stolen phone when your livelihood and business depends on your main point of contact. Upon reluctantly scheduling forward the one appointment, she had the audacity to refuse my aunt when the sessions were always booked in tandem with my mom's. Given the abundance of options in this area for eyebrows and lashes, I would recommend you take your business elsewhere. As for you Mimi, I suggest you hire an assistant or purchase a scheduling software if you feel like your bandwidth is unable to accommodate preexisting clients. No one wants to drive over two hours round trip only to be turned away for their appointments due to poor communication. I regret even recommending her services because it truly put a dampener on what should have have been a glamorous experience for my mom and aunt. Mimi, this is full transparency, please do not take advantage of those who are less technologically savvy, they can't use Instagram, but they are not ignorant to an incredibly disappointing experience. read more

UPDATE: It's been a little over 2 weeks since my full set with Mimi and OMG, my lashes still look so full. Obviously a few lashes fell out over the course of the past 2 weeks but it literally looks like I just got them done a few days ago. I went to Hawaii for one week and my lashes held up so well in the water, in the warm weather through all my sweat, everything. I have not stopped getting compliments on my lashes, even just earlier today. I was a little doubtful if the price was worth it for this full set, but seriously, if you want to get GOOD QUALITY lash extensions, you need to go to Mimi. I'm honestly so impressed. read more

Mimi is quick in response and quick in accommodating with scheduling. I was looking for a new lash artist because I wasn't happy with the set I had gotten from the previous artist I went to. Upon making an appointment, it was so quick and easy to set up. You can just tell her your schedule and she'll find a way to work with it. She is punctual to her appointments and her lash studio/workspace is bright and clean inside! She's is really sweet and gently when handling my lashes as well :) I never feel rushed out of there because she always takes her time. I wanted to start out a bit more natural since the very first set I got elsewhere was way to long and heavy for me (too much glue). Although it may look a bit too natural for my taste, it can easily be fixed by adding more on the next fill session. Being Asian with thin hair, I used to stress out when I have to do my eyebrows in the morning.
