I was a magnetic lash wearer until I couldn't. I discovered that other magnetic eyeliner was creating a rash and swelled eyes so I stopped using them. I decided to do some research on eyelash extensions and was concerned that I would have a reaction to the glue that is used for this process. I decided to talk to someone at this place and was welcomed by Mai who is the lash specialist in Leander. We spoke about my concerns and she was able to answer questions I had. She immediately offered to place 5-6 lashes on each eye as a trial to see if I would have any reactions and would follow up the next day, as she had. I told her that I had slight itch but then subsided with no swelling. So.....I decided to take the risk and do it. We did the trial on Friday and I had my lashes done the following Tuesday. Mai is such a beautiful, charismatic lady full of energy. She's very detailed and does an outstanding job that she has perfected throughout her career. I've been getting my nails done for a very long time and yesterday was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life my nails look like crap. The little girl was too worried about being on her damn phone to even listen to what I wanted or to even understand what I was saying. She left my nails undone and on top of that try to Push me out of there telling me that you don't do second coats on gel nails!!!! Also, my nail beds were not cleaned prior to the dip so the dip was all on my cuticles. I did give them two tries, first time was not so bad, but not great. DONT DO IT. Absolutely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I took my 5 year old daughter here to get a mani pedi... her fingers and toes are all raw and cut up around the nail beds. I hope she doesn't get an infection. The tools the lady was using weren't cleaned either. I didn't notice at first until she was almost done and i saw red nail polish which neither myself or my daughter got. She also didn't get new tools between doing my nails and my daughters. Besides that she was very very rough. It was painful and the way she would pick up and put down my daughters hands and feet so rough during the process was really annoying. I think she was in a rush because she was moving so fast, not taking her time, and not paying attention. Then there was the loud cell phone ringing over and over again while we were getting our nails done. We were only offered a drink at the end of the service. She was of course trying to get me to do more expensive treatments through out the whole process but when i declined she was obviously annoyed. My daughter waited for anyone to come start on her for about an hour. I wanted to leave but it would have made my daughter so sad since it was late in the evening and she needed her nails done for an event the next day. We just moved to the area so i wanted to try this place since it's so close to us, i will never ever go here again, besides the poor service, the work was also poor and they don't have their prices listed so they can surprise you at the end. I think the pictures speak for themselves here. I went in for a gel manicure today and was very disappointed, especially for the price. The woman doing my nails gave me a hard time for my nails being short and tried to pressure me into getting sns or acrylic. She also tried to sell me a pedicure. She was pretty aggressive with my hands and shoved them around so much that they bumped the screen and she would have to fix them. When I began to say something about the way my nail was looking with polish outside the lines and badly trimmed cuticles, she argued that she just wasn't done yet and didn't fix it. Their equipment was all dirty, the counter hadn't been cleaned in a long time, there were clipped fingernails and debris. Not a good experience. read more

However, the fake nails the technician put on my nails look like paddles. I have small nail beds and now my hands look like they were struck by gamma rays. The technician tried to drill them smaller but to no avail. The thick, Hulk-sized nails don't look anything close to natural so now I have to pay another technician at another salon to make my nails look human again. The $60 price was way too much for such a mess. On the other hand, the pedi was nice. She did a great job on my toes. I don't like paying for mediocrity. I went to this place for about 4 times now because it's very close to where I live. However, almost every time I go there, I got recommendations that I do not need at the moment and if I say no, they will give me a very hard time during the service. If you don't want to get a ton of services all at once, they'll treat you differently. The woman who helped me would act unhappily and flip my fingers around very roughly during the manicure. Sometimes I make appointments before I go in, but they never keep their promises and help me on time. One time I was told to come back in an hour and I did come back on time, but the woman who was helping me already took other customers. The grinding bits were already dirty and filled with a previous manicures materials. She reused paper sanding ring, buffer and nail file. Each finger she hit my cuticles and skin around my nails and made them bleed. I told her she was hurting me and she said sorry but kept going. I now have scabs on every finger. The scariest thing was she just put back the grinding bits that she used into her tool cart. None of the tools went into the sanitizer! I call in on Wednesday afternoon trying to figure out if I should get lashes or not, immediately they give me all of the information about the process and everything and I was set. After figuring out what type of lashes I wanted I asked when are they were available and thankfully they were available on Thursday, which was a day after I called. Normally it takes at least a week to get an appointment at other places. When I came in I was greeted and immediately felt so welcomed by the Lash technician. She was so cute and super sweet. She set me up and then started on my lashes my appointment was at 12 and i got out at 1:45. It was a good amount of time for lash extensions. I want to preface this by saying in one visit, I had two very different experiences. 1. I took my 5 year old to get a pedicure (her first) and manicure. I was, of course, worried about her first experience, but decided to take the plunge since I knew this salon had a kids chair. The young lady who my daughter had for a nail tech (I wish I would have gotten her name) was spectacular. My kid is a talker and she had a million questions, and everything was taken in stride and answered gently and patiently and even though she picked out 5 different nail polishes, the tech happily made it a better experience than I could have hoped for. For that, I'm giving this place 4 stars. 2. The older lady who did my basic pedicure (so I wouldn't take longer than my daughter) repeatedly tried to sell me on other services - the only thing she ever said to me, actually. And after reminding her after the third time that I was there for my kids experience and DID NOT want a manicure, she seemed irritated. After fielding a question about eyebrows from my little girl, I was AGAIN asked about getting my eyebrows waxed. I couldn't believe the blatant disregard for the situation. And I was happy to be done and for her to abruptly get up and leave to help someone else without saying a word. The way I split the tip reflected this situation, but I would hope in the future, everyone is given better customer service than this. No talking is fine (sometimes it's nice to relax quietly), but being rude because I won't spend more money is not. read more

I really wanted to like this place because they seem really nice and they're conveniently close by. Which is also why I gave them another go. My first visit was a simple mani/pedi and polish. It was rushed and when it became clear that I was aware of the sloppy polish, the tech "assured" me, it's just the first layer, the second will cover it up. Results, you could definitely tell. Months after this initial visit, I came in for a mani/ pedi. To have my SNS removed (done for the first time ever and by another salon) and replaced with gel. I had an appointment but I ended up having to wait a bit, offered water (only) but as a couple of ladies were seated beside me, they were offered an array of beverage options. Paid a little extra for a pedicure, felt like quality of the basic service. Gel polish on my nails appear to be uneven. Might be that she took down my nail a little too much since the tips of my nail felt incredibly fragile. Mind you, my nails had been wrapped practically the entire time during my pedicure so the SNS was quite soft. All in all, this kind of a service can be a little costly. It just sucks to leave with nails you feel obligated to stick with because you paid $80+ for it. read more

She takes her time, uses the best products and works in a clean & sterile environment. This is the first nail place I have been to since moving from Arizona. And had an awful experience. I explained what I wanted and she didn't understand when it was extremely SIMPLE. She said she was very confused. So I said okay just take my nails off then. Then another lady comes over bc the other lady didn't want to deal with me I'm guessing. This new lady was very nice. She asked what I wanted I asked if she can do dip nails? She said yes I can. She did them but the shape wasn't the greatest. But it's okay I guess. I paid 65.00 total for a bad experience.
