I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are consistent and don't move from salon to salon. You know you are going to get clean service, an excellent foot massage no matter which technician you get. I recently had a hospitalization and I needed a mani-pedi so so bad. If I could give zero stars I would. I know a lot of people like this nail salon. I did too until I didn't. I've had gel, acrylics, and dips for more years than many of you are alive. NEVER have I had a nail that looks like the one below--the one with the big hideous spt. I had to go to my dermatologist to get a diagnosis because I've had melanoma. Although I was confident it was not melanoma, it was something I'd never seen before. Something like this happens because acrylic was not correctly applied, water seeped in, or nail tools were dirty. Because this happened, I asked for all acrylics to be removed. This is what I am left with. See the photos below. I take pride in my nails. They were beautiful and perfect. Now they are a total mess, and I must pay someone else to make them look somewhat presentable. I never heard Anne, the owner, say I'm sorry about the green nail. She never offered to pay for my doctor's visit. Why should I pay for something that was due to something that happened at HER salon by one of HER employees? I will only go back to Pro Nails to provide Anne with a copy of my bill and request payment for me having to see my doctor through no fault of my own. read more

I discovered this nail place 4 years ago after trying several others I wasn't happy with. The ladies here are friendly and know their stuff. Jennie is my go to for perfectly sculptured acrylic/gel nails in a French manicured style. She also does the best gel pedicure that really lasts weeks. Jennie also has magic hands when massaging your feet and legs during a pedicure. I literally fall asleep sometimes because I'm so relaxed. The salon is very clean and has top notch products to offer. I'm visiting a friend who lives in Georgetown and she wanted to get her nails done. I already had my nails done so I went to accompany her. She called and made sure they had time and availability for a full set acrylic. We get in there she checks in, the ladies have no idea what's going on. 3 different women come up to us asking questions and it was just chaos at the front door with people sitting, exiting the building and the workers asking us questions when she already said she wanted a full set acrylic and asked for bubble bath. They then proceeded to ask her if she's doing a manicure and started doing a manicure on her. My friend thought it was part of the process because again we've told 3 different women and called she's getting acrylics full set. Linda. the lady doing her nails. throws a fit when my friend asks for tips on her nails. i've srsly never seen someone be that rude. She was scoffing and making rude comments at my friend and making my friend feel really stupid. Should pay more attention to bookings and have better communication between staff members. I tried acrylic with gel on top for the first time. The process took forever because the technician kept getting sidetracked but what's worse, the quality is very poor. I went to Pro Nails on a Friday afternoon when I needed to refresh my pedicure. It is definitely catering to the Sun City crowd with the decor which made me laugh. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They offered snacks and wine which I thought was nice. The pedicure was fast but great. I'm not going there for a long relaxing massage. In an hour they gave me the full treatment and had me out the door. I appreciated it! Will be my new local go to spot. read more

Quality is terrible. I was upsold gel the last visit and wanted a change of color and to go back to regular polish. The nail tech did not use any solvent to remove any part of the gel. Instead she used a drill and left the surface of my nail with ridges. She painted quickly without using care, so the entire nail is not covered in several spots. I just think when you are paying someone $60 to $100 to have your nails done rather than just doing it yourself, they should at least take care of your nails and prepare a smooth surface to paint on and carefully paint the entire nail. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be going back there or possible any salon that rushes people in and out. Not to beat a dead horse, but the massage wasn't even good. She just rubbed one spot to death and called it good. read more

Unfortunately the nail tech I had was distracted with answering the phone and intensely watching the front door while she was doing my mani pedi. The nail tech didn't ask me how long or short I would like my nails, didn't properly cut my cuticles, and it was an overall subpar experience. Specifically on my pedi the nail tech was so distracted she painted 90% of my nail and 10% just had no paint on it. After I showed her an entire side of my nail wasn't painted she politely fixed it (1 nail) but 6 of my nails were like that. At one point she was using the pumice stone more on the top of my foot vs the bottom. I'd try to get her attention by slightly pulling back my foot which helped but she would go right back to watching the front door. Wasn't a relaxing experience, and I left with my toes only 90% painted. read more

My regular salon was closed for the holidays and I had a nail emergency, since I broke two. They were nice, but did probably the worst SNS job I've ever seen. My matte black nails clearly have sparkles and bubbles in them from the one gold nail, as the tech used the same brush to brush them all between layers. They're also dusty, with white spots? ‍ The shapes are random, and the nails themselves are bulky and clearly lumpy where she missed spots. First time I went for nails I was satisfied. Second time (several weeks ago) not happy at all. Very poor work done & I waited a few days to contact them because I actually felt bad having to complain. The manager (Ann) & I had multiple phone conversations & emails. She was very apologetic & asked for me to come back & they would make it right. I couldn't go immediately because in addition to bad service, the technician had cut my finger & it had become very red, swollen & painful. I told her I would have to wait. It took almost 3 weeks for my finger to heal. While my finger was healing I had become sick. We still communicated & I told her I would come as soon as I was better. The last time we talked was Tuesday 10/8/24. She asked if I could come in that day & I couldn't because I was on the way to my doctor. The following day I was going to schedule the appointment That evening I got onto my emails to message her & I had an email from her earlier in the afternoon telling me I had to come in that day & it was the last day I could come. I emailed her & told her NOT one time in all of our communications did she relay that to me & would just say let us know when I could come in, including the day before when I was going to the doctor. I got poor service & completely wasted my money. I also feel the manager failed in communicating guidelines to me until the afternoon of the 9th & which I saw the email close to 6pm. It is up to the manager to tell you their policy & she failed in my opinion. read more

Dreadful experience. Worst job I've ever had on my nails. No cuticle work. One finger needed a tip and somehow it didn't get glued down properly so it popped up before I got to my car. Dip activator and powder was put on my skin. Sloppy, bumpy, streaked nails with bubbles. White of French tips uneven and not applied far enough down to cover my natural tips. Somehow she couldn't even file the tips to all match each other. Manager said technician was highly experienced. Ha ... a 10 year old could have done a better job. When I called manager immediately after I left (not to cause a scene in the salon), she didn't offer a refund, instead said come back in and they'd re-do. They want two more hours of my time for their terrible work so they can all stare at me and talk about me. No thanks. I won't ever go in there again and I suggest you don't go either. read more
