After going here for 2 years and paying EXTRA for Yuna and being TOLD they use MINK lashes and then to read below, directly from the Manager in response to another customer's complaint, that you NEVER use MINk and ONLY use SYNTHETIC is APPAULING!!! I also agree that YUNA's work is NEVER consistent even though you have to pay an ADDITIONAL $50 on top of the regular fee to use her. I saw her last month and within 2 weeks MOST of my lashes had fallen out. In addition, I was in pain for weeks with a burning sensation around my eyes. Long story short.. there are enough places in NYC that do a good job, even great job, so don't waste your time here. read more

I got my lashes done here for the first time. The technician pulled at my natural lashes and it was very painful. The extensions began to fall off the very same day. I take very good care of them, no water, oil etc. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the glue or the lashes. Not sure what went wrong. read more

I will start out by stating that my first experience at Lashtouch was super amazing. The women at the front desk were sweet, Kim - my lash technician - gave me the perfect 'Natural' eyelashes that were the most beautiful I've ever had. During the consultation, she really understood my quest for eyelash extensions that did not look or feel 'fake' and were appropriate for work. She absolutely nailed it, and for four weeks i wore my lashes with pride. My second experience was the complete opposite. There was a guy at the front desk who was neither welcoming or helpful and my technician June was a little heavy handed. About June - June asked if I wanted the 'same thing as last time' and I replied "Yes - a very natural look". June said not another word to me. After removing the previous lashes - and was applying my lashes, I felt she tugged a lot and often during the installation, put lashes on, then pulled them off again. I had to ask "Are you pulling off my lashes ?!" because whatever she was doing was so painful. She also rested her forearm on my forehead the entire time causing the most terrible headache of my life from the amount of pressure she was applying. Maybe because it was 6:30pm, maybe she was tired, but the next day, I had the puffiest eyes and a terrible migraine. This reaction from lashes had never happened before. The final product was not as expected either. Unlike the first time, It looked like I was wearing false lashes. They were all uniform (not a combo of 9,10,11 with varying widths) and way to much glue at the base --- I am not pleased. They also feel very heavy and are falling out at a much higher rate, taking my fine natural lashes along. I waited a few days to write this review because I really wanted them to grow on me for the 120 plus tax and tip I paid. The front desk guy asked my if I liked it, I told him 'Not really'. He gave no further response, other than passing me the tip envelope. I did get Kim's name and will go back one more time with the hope of a better experience. I hate my lashes, they look unprofessional and fake, like I have feathers on my eyelids. read more

This is the BEST eyelash salon in NYC. I've been coming here for the last three years after a long search for lashes that actually last. Their staff is polite, they have snacks and drinks in the waiting area, which makes sense since an appt could be up to 2 hours. If you want lashes that look beautiful, and last up to three months(seriously) then come here. Ask for June,Grace, or Yuna. All three of them are amazing! read more

This place is amazing. I had only ever gotten my eyelashes done in Hong Kong once before. I really liked how they came out so decided to find a place near my office to do it again. What a difference!! I don't feel them at all on my lashes - the ones I had before were heavy and definitely noticeable to me when I blinked or washed my face. I had an appointment at 7pm and was seen promptly. I love my lashes but I think I got them too long. Next time I will go shorter. I got 30% off for being a new customer and when I checked in I also got an eyelash coating gel. What I didn't like is how they put a tip envelope in your face when you're paying. Totally inappropriate. Tipping is optional and I shouldn't be pressured. I'm still debating if I should go back. read more

Just leaving LASHTOUCH for my second time and I'm so happy! I've had my lashes done for a while and this place really gets it right. Lia my technician adjusted my lashes to be perfect for me, my real lashes are thin and weak and when I leave I have full and fabulous lashes. I just visited in this eyelash extension shop. They just opened near Bryant park. The place is cozy and clean. the bed was very comfortable and the technician, Yuna, was nice and work very carefully. They gave me 50% off discount, since I was a new customer. The overall work was good. Only thing I don't like is that she put some pad on my forehead which I don't know why. Superb service! I was here for the first time exactly 2 weeks ago. I was welcomed by a very hospitable young man, was offered a bottle of water while completing the consultation form. The studio is very clean and comforting. My eyelash guru was Vivian, who recomended the silk "J" curl set due to my natural lashes being so fine and thin. It's been one week and eyelashes are still intact.. great service and friendly staff. Very clean and pleasant shop. Staff was very Very helpfull in my decision because this was my first time getting mink individual lashes. Did not take long at all. About an hour. My eyelashes are naturally around 7 (really short) and not that full. I wanted a natural look but long so I went for the full lash which is 160 lashes, 80 lashes per eye. c curve up to 11mm and natural style.. i got them done by Ari. She's awesome! read more
