Curry chicken, rice, and garbanzo beans

Trying something new and everything was full of flavor! The Tandoor Mix Grill was excellent! We couldn't believe how tender and juicy the chicken was. The seasoning was tasty and it didn't need extra flavor but it did come with a yummy dipping sauce. They have a wide variety of veggie sides. Everything was fresh and so healthy. You can choose from cabbage to lentils to eggplant to garbanzo beans. A few veggie options are spicy if you like a little kick. We also had their garlic naan and veggie samosa. Not pictured, but their hot chai tea was the perfect way to finish our delicious meal. Great combination of black tea, spices, milk, and sugar. Would totally order this again! Food is delicious, service is outstanding, tables are clean, and they offer military discount of 10% off. We are certainly going to return!

I was searching for something quick to pick up, after working out at the gym in Pearl Ridge. I decided on Lasoon, after reading a few reviews. The restaurant is a few doors in from the entrance; it appeared well lit and clean. The employee greeted me as I approached and asked if I had been there before. The man explained what the items in the warmer in front of me were; and went over the different sizes of their plates. I decided on the lamb curry and butter chicken, with the butter vegetables and spicy eggplant. I also got a samosa. Everything was good. It wasn't terrible, nor was it the best. I do want to try the mixed grill, the next time I decide to pick up food from here. It is very convenient and reasonably priced.

Finally got to try out lasoon and I'm so glad I did. It's conveniently located inside Pearlridge mall and many of the items are premade so you can pick and choose what you want really quickly. I got the lamb curry, the Chana masala, and the cabbage. Everything was so flavorful and the lamb was really tender. I saw that they have tandoori chicken that's made to order so I'm excited to try that next time.

Came by Lasoon in Aiea around 2:30pm on a Saturday. It wasn't busy at all--we were actually the only couple in the store, so we were excited to have a relaxed meal. We ordered the mango lassi, butter chicken plate with palak paneer and chana masala, garlic naan, a side of saag paneer, and chicken momos. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. We had high expectations after seeing the good reviews, but overall it wasn't as flavorful as other Indian spots we've tried. The chicken was on the dry side, and the garlic naan wasn't very garlicky. We left feeling pretty disappointed. The highlights of the meal were the mango lassi and the chicken momos. Speaking of the momos--since they're made to order, we were told they would take about 7-10 minutes and that they'd be brought out to us. We ended up finishing our entire meal and waited a total of about 30 minutes before having to remind the staff that we were still waiting. This was especially surprising since we were the only table there. The staff were friendly, which we appreciated, but between the food and the long wait, we don't plan to come back again.

Went back for more and it's still amazing!! We decided to dine in again, and the constant flow of DoorDash and Uber Eats pickups showed just how popular this place really is. Even with all that traffic, the service and quality never slipped. The food is absolutely delicious and leaves you feeling satisfied--not greasy, heavy, or bloated. Everything is clean and organized, which I always pay attention to. From the counters to the trash area, even the back of the room and how the chef and staff handle the food--everything was spotless and professional. You can really tell they take pride in their work. Definitely going back next week!

We ordered food to be delivered. Unfortunately the earliest delivery time is 12:50 pm but they didn't deliver it until after 1 pm. The portion sizes are very generous despite it not appearing to be as the wells are pretty deep. I had the combo plate with butter chicken, lamb masala, spicy eggplant and Chana masala. The food is pretty good but the meats were a little dry. The eggplant was nice and spicy and Chana masala standard. Overall, it's a good place for a quick meal.

I liked the fast casual concept. And the food was good too. However it was a lot of rice compared to the two entrees I received.

We got hungry walking around the mall and decided to stop in here and try it. I'm so glad we did. First the people working were incredibly nice. We explained that it was our first time and they explained the flavors to us, let us try things before purchasing and really helped us picked flavors that matched what we liked. My husband and I genuinely loved everything! Each item had its own flavor profile. If it said spicy, it was definitely spicy. All the meats were cooked perfectly and I feel like they gave you the perfect amount of meat to sauce ratio. I personally think the price was worth it. You get a ton of food and the quality matches the price. I will 100% be eating here again and honestly I'll be bringing our family who comes to visit too. DELICIOUS!

Lasoon is a fast, casual Nepali and Indian restaurant with huge, flavorful portions and friendly, courteous service. It's my go-to, favorite restaurant in Pearlridge at the moment. The perfect place to fuel up after a long day of shopping. I normally get a combo plate, which comes with 2 meat entrees and 2 veggie entrees. My favorite dishes include: - Butter chicken: A mild chicken dish with rich and creamy sauce. A must order! 5/5 - Saag Paneer: Yummy chunks of soft paneer in a pureed spinach sauce. 4/5 - Spicy eggplant: Big chunks of tangy sautéed eggplant with a tomato puree. Very spicy! 5/5 - Peero spicy pork: Savory salty, fatty pork in a coconut based sauce. Medium spice. 4/5 - Mango lassi: Thick, sweet and refreshing mango yogurt drink. 5/5 - Samosa: Delicious deep fried pastry with peas and potatoes, served with a sweet chutney sauce. 5/5 The cafeteria-style restaurant also has alternating specials so stop by often to check out their new dishes. They have a few high top tables for dine in but there's also plenty of room to eat upstairs in the food court.

First off.... The owner is so sweet. Me and my brother love Indian food and went there trusting the reviews on here. And it did not disappoint. As i was ordering i was stuck on which veggies i wanted, he let me choose 3 My entrees were the spicy fish and butter chicken and wow, it was SO ONO. If you love spicy the fish and the eggplant is so so yummy. His customer service was awesome, food was amazing, overall an awesome experience!

They were all tasty, but portions were kind of small. It did come with Basmati Rice. We also ordered two Garlic Naan $4.50 each to share. It was garlicky and crispy around the edges. Spice Up your life!…read more Yeah.....sorry no Spice Girls at this restaurant (though my mom did tell me there are a variety of Indian restaurants in London). NOTES 1. BYOB. The restaurant does provide a wine opener (if you haven't brought your own) and glasses. 2. Parking available in the lot behind the restaurant. The "entrance" to the lot very nondescript....its kind of like going thru a large "portal". Signage is great, but there is a sign for parking.....just be aware when traveling East on King St. 3. The restaurant is cozy, not too small, but not large. There were two parties of 5 and 6 people, respectively, that were accommodated fairly easily while we were dining. 4. I was in a group of 4 that ventured for dinner last month. After perusing the menu (we didn't take very long since we were hungry), we ordered for the table: Garlic Cheese Naan Vegetable Samosas Chicken Momo Lamb Boti Kabab Tandoori Chicken Wings Butter Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala The food was incredibly good....or, since we were so hungry anything tasted great at the moment for dinner. Nah, it's the former. The dish that disappeared and was completely devoured was the Butter Chicken. I absolutely loved this! So good. It paired well with the garlic cheese naan. We also enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Kabab, Vegetable Samosa. We all thought the Chicken Momo was just "ok". We'd probably skip this and try something else on the next visit. SERVICE The staff is friendly and patient. They checked on us regularly throughout the meal. I appreciated that they loaned us their wine opener (since we had forgotten to bring one). BOTTOM LINE A satisfying first time experience. We'll be ordering the garlic cheese naan and the butter chicken on the next visit for sure. Recommended.

So I decided to order a couple of items and keep my cost down and get a treat. I waited patiently for the restaurant was full and there were patrons, people waiting for take out and uber drivers in and out. I took a seat and waited and waited. The staff was cordial and polite. My issue was when I went home. I ordered the lamb rogan dish which had literally 2 one inch pieces of meat and the rest was sauce. I mean, I loved the flavor and loved the sauce but 2 pieces of meat? You charge a hefty price for this. I feel at least 5 pieces of meat and sauce would be ok for the price we pay. Anyhow, the rest of the meal was absolutely delicious.

We also ordered the fish tandoori, which came in a flavorful curry sauce that my family absolutely loved. As a special treat, the chef prepared another fish dish for us in a coconut curry style. The taste was immaculate--rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. We couldn't stop dipping our stuffed cheesy naan into the curry sauce. None of us wanted that dish to end--we wished we had ordered more! A nice bonus is that many of these special dishes can be made upon request. Just contact the restaurant ahead of time, and they will gladly prepare them for your visit. Our servers were fantastic as well. They constantly made sure we were taken care of, refilling water, bringing extra napkins, and providing boxes when needed. With the new décor in place, the restaurant feels bright, welcoming, and inviting. It is a smaller space, so tables are fairly close together, but that only adds to the cozy atmosphere--you might even make friends with fellow diners. Overall, Cafe Maharani continues to be my go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine!
