Horrible customer service, I dealt with Marisol for 4 days and on the very last day as I was being given my car keys, the remote control was not fixed which was one of the 3 issues I walked in the first day and stated. Marisol became hostile when I re told our conversations and Marisol decided to no longer deal with me, she stormed out the office for me to deal with the Technician Manager. I would avoid the service department here at all costs. Our car broke down and we had it towed here--the service provider, Ariel, not only gave us an absurdly high estimate but also tried to insinuate that this happened because we didn't maintain the car properly and so our warranty wouldn't cover this. I suspect this was to pressure us to pay immediately out-of-pocket before we could try to negotiate. Also, if you have GEICO or any other major insurance provider, you won't get anything covered at this dealership. Most companies will want to talk to the dealership and ask a few questions before moving forward, but they refused to even talk to GEICO, which we found a bit suspicious. We ended up having the car towed to another dealer that had no problem talking to GEICO and gave us a much more reasonable price. We also narrowly escaped a fee that they tried to pin on us without any forewarning. In terms of attitude, Ariel was alright enough in the beginning, but when we (politely) questioned some things we felt were sketchy, he immediately turned very nasty. We later talked to John the service manager who was nicer, but we couldn't help the feeling that they were banding together to do a "good cop bad cop" kind of thing. Fraudulent. Gave a $2,700 down payment on a $20,000 vehicle. Come to check the receipt, the finance guy reported the price of the car as $27,000 and the cash (down payment) as $6,000. Gave a bunch of warranties without asking, simply asking for a signature. Window price was $19,000 and change, the total financed amount was nearly $27,000. Street robbers have more ethics than that guy, whose name I don't even know. Avoid coming near this place. Not to mention Marisol from the service department. Two-year warranty was apparently voided because I cancelled the extra warranties?? I also went to get a second key programmed, and batteries installed in two other car keys. Spent nearly the whole day for an oil change, the second key and the two key batteries. Hours later did I find out Marisol told the mechanic to PROGRAM MY TWO OTHER CAR KEYS TO MY OTHER CAR. She cannot comprehend simple communication and because of her, I wasted a whole day. Awful place with unethical practices and fraudulent activity. I went to LaSorsa after feeling like I didn't matter at Curry Chevrolet in Scarsdale. There a salesperson named Neidy Guerrero helped me. She spent the whole day with me showing me cars I could afford and taking all the time I needed to make a decision. At no time did she pressure me into anything and she made me feel like she cared about what I wanted. Got a new Equinox there. Sales guy (Jose) didn't give the car manual or second key. Finance guy (Michael) - not even his job, took my address and promised to FedEx overnight. He even called again to confirm I got it, and when I didn't, assured he'd speak to Jose's manager and get it fixed. A week later, finally, Jose calls me. No apology, he just said that he lost the second key, will order it and send to me. Didn't say how long it would take, and when I asked how this could have happened, told me 'it happens', and even sounded upset I asked. I would strongly recommend NOT dealing with this dealership. Update (07/04/19): because of procrastination, I took my car in to LaSorsa for its annual inspection-you'd think I'd know better. Car failed inspection, needed about $900 worth of work to pass. But something on the printout of necessary work caught my eye: a statement that, along with a list of other issues, the front brake pads were worn and needed to replaced. But here's the problem with that: several weeks ago I had an issue unrelated to what LaSorsa had diagnosed during the inspection. I took the car to another mechanic who not only fixed the problem, but also proactively noted the front brake pads needed replacing and did just that THREE WEEKS before LaSorsa listed the brake pads as needing replacing to pass inspection. I refused to allow LaSorsa to do any of the work they listed, and took my chances that I wouldn't get pulled over for an expired inspection. Long story short, I got it inspected on Tuesday by a third mechanic, who passed the car with flying colors, requiring absolutely NONE of the expensive repairs LaSorsa said were necessary. Unless you have extra money to flush down the toilet, do not take your vehicle to LaSorsa. Rest assured I will be discussing this situation with allies at the Bronx District Attorney's office. Seems like every time I take my car in for inspection or oil change, they find $700, $1000, $1200 worth of work that needs to be done. I came into the department because my vehicle has two recalls. That night while driving, I noticed my hazard light didn't work, along with my interiors. Apparently my fuse blew in the process of the service but wasn't checked out before returning my vehicle back to me. In the end, my car was taken care of, and one thing I noticed on the paperwork, was that car wash, windows, and vacuum was supposed to be included, but it wasn't. I spoke up about it and was told there wasn't anyone available to do it, but was later told my tires were cleaned. Apart from this, I have no issues, just would like things to be done accordingly. After expressing my dissatisfaction w/my situation Lasorsa's sends me this generalized or broad statement that basically points me right back to the main dealership number where I get to enjoy voice prompts, the equivalent of falling asleep next to an anthill with honey in my ears ‍ so no sincere effort there. John Zahra & Vincent of the service department seem like decent enough guys & from what I can tell have made what looks to be an honest attempt to get an engineer down from GM to take a look at my windshield fogging up issue but for whatever reasons this seems to be dependent on rainy humid weather conditions (I'm not making this up!) so the fate of my issue is really up to the weather...sounds crazy right?!?!?! I'm literally waiting for an engineer to agree that the amount of water vapor in the air is just the right amount that he/she will grace me with their presence & take a look at my 2018 Chevy Camaro LT that I just purchased in February 2018‍ check out my & other Camaro owners YouTube post concerning windshield fogging up problem. Oh & please be informed that you will have to drop a $250 deposit for a loaner vehicle that you are entitled to under warranty & then wait 4-6 weeks for it to be returned to your credit/debit card ‍ Do yourself a favor & get a Tesla Model S starting at about 35k, 49k when it's all said & done...my friend just purchased one & assures me their customer service is platinum status! That's something I can't say about Lasorsa's or GM right now. The dealership manager had absolutely no respect or regard. He continuously spoke to me disrespectfully and did not honor my wishes. He tried to charge $900 for a diagnostic yet he only hooked the computer up, never checked under the hood himself. Then he tried to charge me 9,000 for my vehicle's engine when it only costs between 1,500-4,000 max for a brand new engine. I told him I was eight months pregnant and he still continued to treat me horribly and rudely. purchased a 2016 Outlander SEL on 7/2/16. sales person Kurt promise the world. I was told the dealer ship will give first oil change for free and first years NYS inspection for free. other than that, I felt they could do better to entice me on the after sale. after all I can buy at any dealership. approx. 6 months into ownership, I did not get any free oil changes. I changed my oil myself. when I return to the dealership on the weekend to have the in dash service reminder to be reset, I could not find the Mitsubishi service department, it was closed. I was instructed to go to the Chevrolet service, across the street. upon arrival, I was told to go back across the to Mitsubishi. when I question again, they said to wait. while standing at the consultation office, I over heard the service adviser telling another customer they charge for lift charges and a whole list of items that should have been part of the service quote. to say the least, he was mad. so will I. finally, some one came and acknowledge my presence and help me to reset the service reminder. today, 7/22/17, I went back to get my supposedly free NYS inspection. again Mitsubishi is close. I have to go to Chevrolet side. again, I got the run around. this time, I was ask if I made an appointment.. Yes, with Mitsubishi. are you on the board? what board? who is the service adviser? what? what are you here for? NYS inspection... Wait in the waiting room.... my paperwork was never acknowledge, I was not put on line, I was not given any assurance that my waiting means I will be serviced. I was a 2nd class citizen! I was made to feel that I should not have come for service. I walked across to Mitsubishi sales and found my sales person from last year. he tells me just be patient. if I was assured that I would be put on line for service, I would be patient. if I am ignored, why should I be patient? patient for what? when I ask if I am getting the inspect free of charge base on the sales promised, he said, that was for a short period and management had changed the policy. my response.. How convenient after the car is sold. in the end, the car was inspected and service consultant saw my face and decided to waive the fee. in summary, I should have choose another dealership. if you are looking at reviews of any establishment or product after 1 week or so of ownership, you are not getting the fair picture. Best experience ever with Miguel. I initially went to Sunrise Chevy in Queen's and they were giving me the run-around. They gave me one price on the phone and another in person and were totally awful. Miguel at Lasorsa was completely transparent with pricing, emailed me the exact OTD price in advance, and was just a really nice guy. They even let me bring my dog into the dealership (I was going to let him hang out outside with my FIL). Pretty bad experience. Had a fuse blow on me "mysteriously" and had a whole song and dance with these guys trying to get it paid. Some how the transmission computer stopped talking to the transmission and disconnected me while I was driving. I had them look and they found a fuse that blew. They refused to find out what blew the fuse unless I paid for the labor which is BS. Something electrical needed to cause a surge for that to happen and sending me off with just a fuse change keeps the problem going. But here was the hassle I went through on the warranty end of it just regarding the fuse. I ended up paying it but I think this gives you a good idea of what your in for a Lasorsa/ Mitsubishi. Initially I was told it wasn't covered on a 12000/1 year warranty by the dealer. Even gave me a sheet that said so even though such a thing wasn't listed in my warranty manual. Asked them to point out where it said 12,000/ 1 year warranty IN THE MANUAL and they couldn't do it. So I called the corporate office, had a claims specialist review my case and had them tell me the same thing, still without pointing out where it said 12,000 miles/ 1 year in the manual. I'll get back to the claims specialist in a minute. Next they tried to blame me by saying a used an after market charger that was prone to blowing fuses. I don't need to use an after market charger because the mirage has a usb port that uses a standard cable that fits into your phone to charge. Its located in the glove box. It comes standard with the car and if that blew the fuse than the problem is a design flaw. Not to mention that in the 20000 miles I put on it never once did it short out when I had something plugged in. Finally I get a call back from the claims specialist again who pointed me to the wear and tear section of the manual that said the item isn't covered. And she was right fuses weren't covered. I don't believe the problem was wear and tear but if I wanted to find out what it is than I have to pay. And the reason I didn't pay to find out was this: They gave me three separate excuses as to why they didn't cover my part. First it was the 12,000/1 year mile warranty. Even showed me a fake warranty run down (see pic) of everything my warranty covered and at the very end was a little line that they punched in saying fuses are not covered after 1 year/12000. Asked them to prove this in the warranty manual and they couldn't. Next they tried to blame it on me by saying I used an after market charge. I didn't. I don't need to. Finally they found it not covered under wear and tear issues. Even if I don't agree with it, I don't have a case. What all this shows me is that they are trying to wiggle out of paying on their end. They wont go any farther and find the real problem because if they do than they got to shell out for it. They're comfortable letting a car that mysteriously blew the fuse that connected the transmission to the computer go out on the street and not give me an answer as to what blew it. The car drives but its pretty much a time bomb that could go at any moment and I don't have the comfort of knowing the warranty will help me. So why this whole 12,000/1 year business? Where did that come from? still haven't been told where it says that in the warranty. The only thing with that time is the adjustment period warranty and this isn't it. Their business practices are kind of shady and whether its Lasorsa or Mitsubishi I suggest buying something else elsewhere. read more

I brought my car to this dealership due to a recall issue. Recall is known to be dangerous but they refused to put me into a rental till i dialed GM(forcing them to conform). They had my car for about 80 days. I get my car back and at first I noticed it was really dirty on the inside but the outside was washed. I told them about it and they took it to get washed, and brought it back about 40 minutes later while I waited. They give me the car back and its still filthy(black stains on my cloth seats and enough dust to kill an allergic child( i am extremely allergic to dust). I tell the manager about it being dirty again and he tells me he needs 60-90 minutes with the car. I was being rushed out of there when I went to pickup my car and no one did a walk around like they usually do after service, I was just given the key and my car was parked outside. I was on a very long lunch break and needed to go back to work so I told them I can bring it in the morning. Also, I had to come back right after I drove off because my steering wheel adjustment level was pushed down and wouldn't stick making my wheel go up and down as I drived, it took them a few minutes to put it back correctly, I am not sure why they would return the car to me in this condition. Next morning, I am about to take my gf to work and she walks around the car, keep in mind this is the first time she has seen it for months. She gets angry and points out the huge dent on the fender, scratches on the fender(paint is completely gone in a few places). All of this makes me believe that they are trying to avoid what they have done to my vechile and they offer poor service. If i owned a car business, I would not have made any of these mistakes. Calling GM directly as we speak to complain, this is ridiculous. These clowns probably dropped tools on my car or had things on top of it as some of these scratches are impossible to get from a collision(scratches towards the top of the fender and on the hood). read more

Not thinking it would be a big deal i left a phone charger in the car and it was stolen in the one day it was at this dealership parked inside the dealerships garage. Also was charged 135$ for the service department to look at my car not fix anything. My car is a safety hazard and the dealer does not seem to care.
