Okay people... this place is great. It feels like a steak shop on a corner in Philly/South Jersey! The steak meat itself is the best that I can find in Florida. The role was kind a soggy due to the amount of steak in the roll. It made up for it in taste. The Service is really great. Definitely a gem of Orlando. Would I come here every week? It's alright haha. I've been here a few times over the years and I'm never blown away. The price range is decent, the service friendly, the atmosphere and establishment itself, grimy. But that never bothers me, just a reality of the shop itself. Wobbly tables annoy the sh*t outta me lol. This place is a diamond in the rough. When pulling up you won't think much of it, but once you take your first bite you will be pleasantly surprised. I had the Philly Cheesesteak here (with cheese and onions) and was EXTREMELY skeptical. I have traveled to Philadelphia many times and have had some of the best cheesesteaks ever. I actually have refused to order cheesesteaks in Florida because they are just a bad imitation of the real thing. Up north you get them the real way, wiz (that's cheese wiz) with onions. So when I saw this place didn't use wiz I was already ready to pass judgement that it was going to let me down. But to my surprise it didn't. While I still prefer the wiz way (that's why I'm giving 4 stars and not 5), this cheesesteak was very good. The cheese was melted completely throughout the meat like sauce. The meat was chopped up fine and seasoned well. And the sandwich was hot off the grill. Very hot! It's nice to be able to order a cheesesteak in Florida again. Great job LaSpadas! read more

First visit selected from area restaurants and knew very little about it. Only skimmed web page and saw what was offered, price, and customer reviews. All we saw was positive so we took a chance. Glad we tried it. We walked in and immediately sensed a very friendly atmosphere, staff and customers, good aromas and very casual. We order the cheese steak sub (12 in). 2 hungry men and we could have shared one sub and Hank a satisfying meal but we ordered 2 so we had an additional at home. 1 simple cheesecake took 45 minutes to prepare.(many annoyed customers) The bread is just OK. Unsweetened Iced tea was empty No air conditioning, filthy AC ducts, filthy tables. Stopped be here for lunch on a Friday, it was pretty busy but everything moves pretty quickly and didn't have to wait too long for the food. I went to the one in Deland, great customer service, great food! I came to the one on Lee rd it wasn't busy at all so you expect a little bit of customer service! Terrible customer service! Very rude people! I live in Altamonte springs and Lee rd is more convenient for me! But I will never recommend this location. They had the door locked and watch us stand there for 10 mins and we were there at 11am they are suppose to open at 10 am. WOW how disappointing!! After all the great reviews, we were shocked to see how grimy and greasy the place is. Obviously, lots of folks like the food because of the steady stream of customers but really? bags of onions on the storeroom floor, the restrooms were DISGUSTING, the tables were dirty and the floor was littered with napkins and food. All of that before we even ordered! Two good aspects...the portion sizes of the meat fillings and the bread. Skimpy portions of pepper rings and mushrooms, which were cold btw. Neither the steak nor chicken had any real flavor, though the cheese was tasty and once doused with hot sauce, the food was tolerable. Authentic Philly Cheesesteak. These boys are from Chester PA and it's like being back in Pennsylavania. The sandwiches are big and they offer combos so which make it a good value. You cannot get edible bread in Orlando but don't fear, the bread is the real stuff you get in Philly. You can stuff your face to a blissful level for under ten bucks. The decor is Philly with pictures of Rocky and other local memorabilia. They offer coke products and help yourself refills which is always a plus. The weak link and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the fries aren't good. Medium cut but I get the feeling the last time the oil was changed was when the Eagles last won the Super Bowl. The fries have that non golden browned look you get from old oil. That being said this is the only edible Philly Cheese Steak other than WaWa within ten miles of Orlando. PENN STATION EAST COAST SUBS are what u want! That meat is freshly sliced sirloin, fresh veggies, fresh sliced cheeses, and fresh baked bread! Let's not forget SEASONED! The onion rings here were very small portioned and soggy. The fries were decent, but u could just grab some freezer fries and be content. They are always fresh and you can't beat the quantity of meat. My office is within driving distance of LaSpada's and we make sure to order lunch here regularly. Just so you know, standing customers wait behind phone orders, so lunch might take longer than you wanted or even dreamed. 20 mins for a Pastrami after the Cheese Steaks were served, 48 mins total for carry Out. I would give them five stars, but us 2-3 sandwich orders aren't as valued as the 10 sandwich phone orders. Taking a break from them until they learn the control the weeds. If you're looking for the best Cheesesteak in Orlando, this is it. You can get a cheesesteak anywhere these days but there are very few places that do them right. I think the reason why their food is so much better than others is the quality of the ingredients. There just isn't a better 'steak' outside of Philly. This figures, since the owners opened up shop here after selling a similar, very successful place in (guess where...) Philly! A small piece of philly in orlando!! The best philly's cheese steak I've had in my 15 years of living in Orlando after moving here from Philadelphia. Their freshly baked bread is my favorite part that I would even buy by itself. Overall, it was a little bland but nothing a little pepper, ketchup, mayo and cherry peppers can't jazz up. The cheese, mushrooms and onions were stirred in with the meat which made it oozy cheesey. It wasn't oily like Geno's (that I ate at only a month prior coming here).
