They have a dog water bowl near the front where you can also get water with clean cups nearby too! You can also tell it is a beloved location as it was getting quite busy and there were children, dogs, and adults enjoying the space and time with one another. We got two 10oz Diamond Knot root beers which was divine! I recently started drinking root beer from breweries and I am a huge fan, as I think brand named root beer is gross. The drink paired really well with our soul food order. The bartender was really polite and seemed to be good friends with his regulars which is a good sign. I asked him where we should put the drinks and he politely let me know to the side of where he served me would be great and there is a sign to put empty glasses as well. We will look forward to visiting when we can as we are all the way from Tacoma but it is definitely worth coming back to!

That said, if you like no-frills, reminds-me-of-childhood meals, THIS is the spot. We went with the deli sandwich and the mac n cheese with kielbasa, both of which hit the spot after hiking in the gray, drizzly weather. I noticed they do also have daily food specials - the day we were in, it was cheese and pepperoni pizza. They have fantastic beer options and lots of liquor choices, too. We went with our usual - a Bodhizafa and a shot of tequila with a pickleback (try it, and thank me later). Service was also really great. We arrived right at open, and right after us, the next literally 10 people were all regulars. The bartender knew them all by name and you could tell this is definitely the local hangout. And what about the atmosphere here?! It's so wonderful in summer! With its narrow design giving a sense that an entire wall opens to the outside and the patio that extends beyond, it feels Ike you are vacationing somewhere tropical and beachy. This somehow combines really well with the industrial vibe of the interior. They also have some TV's for sports. The service is very friendly, attentive, interactive, and helpful. One thing that was consistent across my three visits, however, was the feeling that the place is always understaffed, so things tend to move slowly. I'm not sure this is the case, it's just the feel you get when it happens the times you visit. This is a bit of a double-edged sword though, since it's such an easy place to just want to sip and nibble slowly while delving into conversation. So, that's not enough to detract a star for now, and honestly I'm already thinking about when I get to eat here again!

As an occasional visitor to Washington State, and the North Bend/Snoqualmie/Fall City area, it's a must to stop by this establishment. From the first time I came here in '99, Alan has been an incredibly friendly host and I've met more characters and had more bizarre conversations than any other pub in all my travels. One of my favorite places to take my out of town friends. Place has a lot of character and always very friendly people. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you ever get the chance check it out on Fall City days. Standing room only but well worth it. read more

We still can't figure out why that was just randomly added, but it resulted in my husband waiting for a new pizza to be made, which resulted in his pizza getting completely cold. He was so upset about it, he didn't even eat the pizza, which was mediocre at best. The manager came over and told us that they comped the pizza that was made wrong, which was the right thing to do. They were dog friendly, which we greatly appreciated, but the lack of vegan options or ability to modify something to make it vegan was pretty disappointing.

I used maybe three-quarters of the maple syrup they provided, which admittedly didn't help my cause, but even apart from that, the cinnamon-swirl brioche was already quite sweet. If you're ordering it, I'd recommend going easy on the syrup at first and adding more as needed.
