The absolute best spot to party in New Bedford. Conveniently located right off route 18, with a big parking garage directly behind it. In the summer there's an outdoor deck with benches, the music is always great, the bartenders are super friendly. There's also a pool room to converse with friends. Had to show my social security card in order for the bouncers to verify my VALID 23 year old Rhode Island ID. Once I got into the bar I literally ran into my current HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS at the bar and they acknowledged how surprised they were they got in so easily! Weird considering they're 16/17 and their high school teacher had to jump through hoops to get in! Dont come here, between the roofie-ing and underage crowd it's genuinely not worth the risk. read more

They turned me away because they said they did not accept my Canadian ID (despite the fact that 3 of my cousins who traveled with me from Canada were already in there with just their ID). Regardless, i turned around got my passport as instructed & came back about 20 minutes later. By then there was a bit of a lineup & apparently they were at capacity & weren't letting people in, despite telling the young ladies at the front of the line that they would just have to wait for 3 people to leave... i went to the door & advised the doorman that i had come back with my passport, to which he replied "i never told you to do that, now close my door". I was absolutely stunned! My cousin and i were ready to leave when another one of our family members convinced the doorman to let us in... then the doorman proceeded to ask if i had my passport, i replied "yeah, i showed it to you right before you claimed you never told me to go get it"... the rudeness continued until we were inside the bar. Once we got in, we were met with sticky floors & rude bartenders. I've been traveling to New Bedford for almost 20 years & have never been treated so poorly until now. Extremely disappointed. Will never step foot in this place again. Please don't give this place one red cent of your hard earned cash! read more

We stopped in for a bite and some drinks. Hadn't been here in years due to us no longer living in New Bedford. The place certainly has changed since last here (both in name and physical description). It took 10 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us, and even then was somewhat rude. Martinis and beers were okay, food was cold. Chicken wings tasted strange in addition to being luke warm. One positive; the place looks nice. Unfortunately the bartender's demeanor, service, and food quality negated the charming looks of the establishment. Next time we're in town we'll check out an alternative restaurant. Don't recommend this place if you like great service or hot food. read more

A certain bartender in particular , Heather . She is apparently Infamous for being last rounds most disrespectful bartender cause everyone I told about my experience all responded " must have been heather " anyway , I ordered A grey goose and pineapple , looking forward to it after waiting about 15 mins in line after a long 16 hour shift I had worked an hour prior .. she makes the drink .. puts it on the counter rudely tells me the price I go in my purse for my debit card not even two seconds later go to hand it to her and I see her dump out my drink and she says " next time have your money out , find another bartender " ma'am if you don't like your job please retire already you are clearly miserable I've never been disrespected like that by a bartender you are the first one .. learn some customer service skills that is what your job entails ..busy night or not I did not have you waiting long , that was unnecessary . read more

My server the guy who works the bar was AWFUL!!! He took forever to serve Us. Then my lemon drop martini was basically a shot on the rocks. I had to ask for an xtra cup and a glass of Lemonade to make my own drink. That took him 20 plus minutes to bring me....as I sat and watched my Girls sip their drinks. He kept forgetting to bring things that was asked, even after asking more than once. The food sucked ass! I will not come back here again. read more

Generally I don't say anything if I have had a poor experience somewhere but Last Round has broke me. The experience I have had here on Saturday August 21, 2021 (about 10:50pm) was absolutely the worst I've ever had with any restaurant/bar I've been to. The bartender (male reddish/grey beard) told me and six of my friends to relax, shut the f*** up, and go home after trying to order a drink. So that's exactly what we all did, no one was intoxicated nor was anyone being rude or disrespectful, we all simply were trying to have a good night together. I understand busy night but just an acknowledgment of our presence would have been enough. He also refused to close our tab. I unfortunately would have to say I would never EVER go back to this establishment. I will say bouncer was extremely nice and the atmosphere prior to this experience with the bartender was great. read more

Had dinner at the Last Round tonight. Wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Our server was doing double duty as bartender/waitress and did both extremely well. My husband ordered the fish and chips and loved every bite. I ordered the bourbon steak tips and every bite melted in my mouth. We will definitely recommend this bar & grill! I went to the Last Round on Friday 12-11-20 and paid $14 for a watered down Crown apple and ginger ale. That was the worst tasting and most expensive drink I've ever been served. My whole experience there that night was terrible. I will never go out to the Last Round again, and I will tell everyone that'll listen how horrible that place is. read more

I have been to Last Round Bar & Grille two times now and boyyy let me tell you I have myself a good time, music is bangin, the vibes are right but according to my calculations I have already spent a third of my lifetime waiting at the bar for a drink. It definitely wouldn't kill them to put another bartender on Thursday nights. I just wanna keep the buzz rollin and waiting for 30 mins for a drink doesn't exactly help that.
