I have been waiting to go to Endzone since I am visiting Massachusetts!! Every time I come here, I stop by! Servers are always super friendly to make the visit a super pleasant experience! You walk into the restaurant, look to the right and see an open space with plenty of tables, lots of tv's and the bar just beyond that. They have a great menu including a Portuguese section, Every time I go, I get the fish and chips. There were two BIG pieces of fish that were light, flaky, while the batter was crunchy. It also came piping hot...just the way I like it! The Cole slaw tasted home made. It wasn't heavy at all! We also got a quahog. It was pretty yummy. The quahog meat was just a bit chewy. I wish there were quarter stars because I would have given this a 4 and 3/4 rating had it not been for the bones I bit into in one of my pieces of fish. Did a pick up order for plain tenders and buffalo tenders after looking at yelp reviews. They were SO good. Service was so fast. We called them in as we were checking out at market basket and they were ready at the pick up area when we walked in. Inside is very nice and clean. The woman who cashed us out was polite. We sat at the bar. Kat the bartender came over right away, provided menus, special menus and cocktail menus. She gave us a few minutes and served us water and took our drink order and answered all our question about the food menu. Our drinks came right over-2 delicious Bloody Marys- spicy not hot- just the way we order them. We then placed our food order. First came out the stuffie- it was good but could have used more linguicą in it. Then out came the seafood chowder with oyster crackers. Kat offered us buns but we declined. This was very different. Clams, scallops, kale, bacon and onions in a creamy broth. It was yummy. And then came out our fish and chips. The fish was fresh with a thin batter- it was excellent. The fries and coleslaw were ok. Another couple walks in at this point sits within 3 mins a waitress walks up to them and gets them drinks ... now we been there 20 mins not one person besides the girl that sat us but want the hostess .... So we got up and left literally the worst service I ever seen and they had like 4 people at the bar and like 6/7 tables seated not busy at all .... The food was great! - Started with High Limb Pumpkin Hard Cider with a sugared rim and it was fantastic!!! - Next up... cup of Clam Chowder. Thick and creamy, very flavorful and loaded with clams! (though I do wish it had been hotter, not a fan of luke warm) - Hubby ordered Chicken Wings, half buffalo and half gold fever. In error, the server brought out boneless windgs and honestly, they were delicious!!! We couldn't believe how yummy and moist they were as boneless wings can often tend to be dry and crispy! That gold fever flavor was great!! - I had the Portuguese Style Littlenecks & Shrimp. It was very, very good. Shrimp and littlenecks cooked in a delicious safron sauce with onions, peppers & linguica served over rice. Very generous portion (had leftovers for lunch the following day) - Bottom line... Those that know me often see me at some pretty nice restaurants. Sure French and Italian food is good, Thai and Vietnamese, Spanish and Peruvian as well. If you asked me what one meal that I could never life without would be I could with certainty say that would be buffalo chicken wings, cheeseburger, and French fries. It just so happens that Endzone does it right! We started off trying a High Limb pumpkin cider (''tis the season). It was light and refreshing. Their company is in Attleboro, and I am hoping that they do tastings and tours! A huge thanks to fellow Yelper Helga S, who recommend their wings. These are without a doubt the best wings that I have ever had! We split an order of spicy buffalo and gold fever. We ordered bone in, but received boneless, which I normally find to be too dry, but they were amazing! Meaty, juicy, full of flavor! I loved the spicy buffalo; however, my wife found it to be too hot. I personally didn't consider it "spicy", but an excellent buffalo flavor. The gold rush was a honey bbq flavor and was extremely tasty as well. They are so good you could absolutely order them as a meal! For my main course I tried the Endzone burger. Loaded with cheese, sautéed onions and mushrooms, on a brioche roll. The burger was juicy, the flavor was outstanding, and the bun made it even better! Their fries were hand cut and on point as well; not to mention way more than I could eat! Endzone offers a wide variety of dishes, far from being just pub food! Awesome experience! While staying in Fairhaven we stopped in for dinner here. We were greeted and sat right away. There was a radio station doing a trivia promotion thing which added a fun vibe. We didn't have any cocktails on this night. I ordered a club sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the fried scallops. The menu was easy to navigate and had plenty of yummy items. Our server was very friendly! She brought rolls to our table before we ordered but they could've stood to be warmed up a bit. Our food arrived promptly and tasted great! Our server checked on us frequently and refilled sodas. The radio station promoters walked around from table to table signing people up for a drawing for a $50 gift card for The Endzone. We asked our server if the vegetables were canned (I hate canned veggies), she was very honest: a few were fresh, a few frozen, one canned. Several sides from which to choose. Went here on a recommendation from a friend. he's a finicky guy. So am I. I brought a friend. She is finicky too. Here's what I have for you all; Atmosphere/cleanliness. 10/10. Place is spotless. I mean to a Portuguese house cleanliness level (IYKYK). Server was attentive enough that I'd question if she could possibly be a mind reader. Female acoustic guitarist played beautifully and at a level where conversational content was fine and not strained. Restrooms were something out of a Four Seasons hotel. Food. 9/10. Friend had ribs. I had baked seafood. We both left with another meal there was so much food. Shrimp and garlic appetizer was crazy good. Bread was fresh, and was delivered without asking. Delicious. Fresh. Portions were big. Tasty sides. Parking. 10/10. They have attached lots on either side of the restaurant. Parked 50 feet from the door at 6pm. This place was great and here's why. Starting with the cons because there's far less: I had a nice waitress - friendly, helpful (when asked). She could have been more attentive. My food took forever and she didn't notify me about it till she was serving it to me. When my husband completed his drink she did not ask if he wanted another. We were left waiting for our check 20 minutes after my food was bagged. Now the pro's: I gave a 4 star review because if you are not in a rush, the food is far worth it! The environment was clean and comfortable ( something not easily found these days) and the prices were extremely comparable. I had for $10 a burger with almost everything on it and fries. Surprisingly for the price, the meat tasted fresh. The ingredients also were fresh, and if your a fan of DnB then you'll be far happier spending your money here. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered clams and he enjoyed them as well. They also had a fairly large menu which included Portuguese cuisine. For a Thursday night it was surprisingly not busy! Great place to hang, possibly play some Keno, bring some friends for some drinks and have a goodnight. Food is always amazing here and service is good! The food did take about 40 minutes to get to us despite that it wasn't to busy. But all in all great experience. Abit of hit and miss. I've dined there about a half dozen times. Sometimes the food is amazing. I've had really good buffalo wings that'd rival any wing joint. Also have had steak tips that's making me want more. But then when I do return the wings were made with sauce that really makes you question if I was going crazy the first time. I don't get it. What I can say is their fried food is always good. Never disappoint when it comes to fried scallop. Today I went there and had a really good fried fish...fresh and solidly portioned. But then we also ordered a $17 Portuguese steak...it was so salty that we left it untouched. Not sure how they process the steak but it had almost a cured meat type of texture. Not a fan. We left the whole steak untouched. When the waitress asked if we want to box it up I told her we could not eat it as it was too salty. No apology was offered and had to pay full price. I paid and tipped 20%. I left and will not be back. Locally there are many competition for good Portuguese steak so the competition is fierce. My wife and I were headed back to Plymouth from Buttonwood Park Zoo and decided to stop at this little place for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was very friendly and our waitress, Ashley, was wonderful! To start, we split a plate of onion rings. Amazing!! Then I had the Endzone Burger. I have to say, probably the best burger I've had in a very long time! I'm not even exaggerating! My wife had the fried clam strips plate. and she loved it! This sports pub has a nice sporty appeal to it with memorabilia all over the walls. The food was really good as I had the clam strip dinner which came with fries and coleslaw. Some of the best clam strips I had in a while. The menu overall is nice but the one thing that bugged me was the weight staff eats at the table right in front of the entrance. I don't find it to appealing walking in a seeing staff eating. I am all for them having lunch but it should be done in a break room. read more

I have to update this review used to come here 2x a week. I won't ever return to this establishment has it gone downhill in 4 years wow. I have gotten so much bad food here in the past 2 years it's crazy. It's so hit or miss and I still came back 3 strikes your out. And it's been 6-10 strikes since I was such a fan of this restaurant restaurant. They changed cooks bartenders and wait staff. I have to say these are some of the worst bartenders in the city (FACT) Food is mediocre at best. Today from the best in the city it's almost the worst. Seafood is the best one day the next it's the worst I've had. Chicken from the best to the worst. Bartenders from the best to the worst talk about New Bedford attitude from a bartender who needs that really laughable at best. This place sucks, I've ordered here and they've screwed me 4 times in a row. You would think when you order their Azorian chicken and shrimp, being a restaurant they'd realize you need bread with that, especially when you request it, but 3 times in a row I got no bread. If you go to the restaurant they give you a never ending supply.Just ordered the baked stuffed scallops, they were dry, the stuffing was like eating sand from Death Valley. I will no longer go there or order from there. I don't know if it's a different owner but the food used to be good. We tried the outside dining Thursday night. We noticed driving by previously, that they made it nice with latticework, umbrellas, lighting, and thought we should try it out. We called ahead, since it's COVID era, everything is different, and they said we have tables, common over. It was very nice. We went, wore our masks, met the person at front, asked for a table for 2, and were immediately seated by a masked host. The masked waitress came by took our drink order. So far the only negative thing was that there draft beer system was down , so I just asked for a Heineken bottle, and my wife got wine. She brought our drinks, and took our food order. Our waitress was excellent. About 15 minutes later I received my Cacoila , which was amazing, and my wife got Chicken Mozambique, which was equally excellent. There was so much, we took home some, and had a full lunch the next day with it. Overall, great service, feel safe, tables far apart, staff very conscientious,and the food was amazingly good! We will go back. The only slight negative is that since it was at a busy intersection, it's a wee bit loud. Oh, when you're seated at your table, you're not expected to wear masks. read more

Once a week my hubby & I each take a turn picking a place to get take-out from ... it was my turn so I decided since it had been so long since I got food from there that that's where I'd pick. We got the Azorean chicken & shrimp, the bourbon steak tip dinner, an order of curly fries with cheese & bacon, and I asked if they had garlic bread ... the girl said that yes, they sold garlic bread for $2.99, that it was 2 pieces for $2.99. K, so to cut this short ... the food was good, not insanely delicious, but yes, good. EXCEPT for the garlic bread. Oh my God, they should actually be ashamed to even charge people for this. K, so we get home, I'm emptying the bag and I'm thinking they actually forgot the garlic bread. Now if it was free I wouldn't had made such a big deal, but we paid for it. So I call them and tell the girl that they forgot to give us the garlic bread, she said we could go back and get it, I said that we were already home (in the west end of the city) I'm not driving all the way back now, I said I'd go the next day and pick it up, that we'd have it with another meal or whatever. But as I'm talking to her I actually found it. It was wrapped up in foil and so freakin' small that it was hiding in the corner of the plastic bag the food came in. I said to the girl that I think I found it. I said "umm, is it always this small???" she said "yes." If you look at the pics you'll see it. I even put a ruler next to it so you can see how tiny it is. And come to find out it's actually a hot dog bun split in half, that's their "2 pieces." And for $2.99?!? Are you serious??? Food was OK, not spectacular, but good enough, and the garlic bread is SAD, just sad. read more

I recommend checking out EndZone - it's a quasi-Sports bar/restaurant serving up a combination of Portuguese and American food (TVs from pretty much every conceivable angle). From the moment you walk in, you immediately notice the speed of the service amid the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waitress convinced us to get the buffalo shrimp instead of ordering the wings and the Shrimp Mozambique. (bad call - I should have tried the shrmp mozambique I tried the Carne Espito but thought it was too dry. Apparently the chicken sandwich is popular item that everyone likes. I really need to go back to the EndZone and try more of their menu because I don't think my first visit was representative of how good EndZone can be.
