All of the portions were very large, and the service was good, except for the long wait for our main dishes to come out. I had a small Caesar Salad and the Chicken Parmigiana, my wife had Fish & Chips. The "small" Caesar was too much for one person, we split it. It was fresh with an acceptable dressing, but lacked any hint of anchovy flavor. Hint, use some anchovy paste in the dressing. The Chicken Parmigiana was slightly overcooked and was lacking in taste. The pasta was cooked properly and had a somewhat better than average sauce. The fish was sorely lacking in seasoning. The fries were sub par. This establishment has changed hands a few times over the last decade and I was anxious to try it out. The atmosphere is inviting with a Star Wars stormtrooper getting you at the door. The service was prompt and informative. For anyone wanting a menu with variety I think their menu would please you. I went in for lunch as i heart they have a great lunch special! I heard right. I got a chicken parm wrap, fries and a soup for $15! The cocktails were super reasonably priced! We go to Traveler's Alehouse a few times a month for lunch. They serve made to order fresh food! The Menu is unique across several diverse cultural specialty dishes that seem to be seasonally updated. Portions are generous as we typically take what we can't finish home. Restaurant is clean and comfortable with a seasonal outdoor seating area as well as a private function room. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere that helps your table relax and stay a little longer. Service staff is also very knowledgeable and will accommodate dietary needs. In addition their separate sports bar is a great place to enjoy a game with friends. . Traveler's Alehouse is a refreshing change from many eateries in the area that serve the same old menus. Today I walked into Travelers Ale House for dinner, and I have to tell you, the decorations never fail to impress. This restaurant is a fast moving restaurant, with changing logos, to changing interior decorations, and even the menu. Everything changes very quick, which is good! It gives the customers something to look at. I started off my time with an appetizer. I got the cheese raviolis for an appetizer. They were decent. The cheese was kind of powdery, if that makes sense, but then again, they are raviolis. They did have some herbs inside the raviolis, which added a nice touch. The raviolis were served with marinara sauce, that also had some toppings on it. Some cheese, and some lettuce at the bottom of the plate, for decoration. My fellow also ordered some clam chowder. I did try some, and it was pretty good, Just a slight problem. It was very salty, a bit too salty, haha. No big deal, just a little uncomfortable when eating it. Other than that, pretty good clam chowder. Overall, pretty good appetizer to start the meal. For my entree I ordered the usual, Fish and Chips. Not very special, but it was alright. The food was fine, nothing over the top but it was frustrating that our waitress didn't bother to check on us for over 45 minutes to see if we had been served our appetizer. It was a busy Friday today. The wait wasn't as long for the 2 of us as they originally told us. But the wait after that was ridiculous. The wait just to have the initial visit from the server....the wait for our drinks...those were the shorter ones. We got our food..my Vodka Chicken Parm was lukewarm. Tasted good but would have been better hot. My husband's Seasonal Fruit Salad didn't have a morsel of fruit in it. The longest wait came when we were done with our food. Don't know where our server was but we had to ask a busboy to get her. Then we had to wait almost as long for her to bring the check. Have to say I have been back several times since the first review and the place has really figured itself out. The owner, Minh Tieu cooks at times and does it SO WELL and he has worked with his head chef to make such authentic cuisine. The Asian Stir Fry that I had at lunch time was among the finest dishes of its type that I've ever had anywhere EVER. The beer menu is also quite good as well. I went to dinner here on a Tuesday evening and arrived before 6pm. We were sat at at table right away and there were 2 or 3 other tables already with guests. We were greeted promptly, placed a drink order and our food order a few minutes later. At 6:20, 2 our of our 3 dishes came and we were told the pizza my child had ordered would be 1 or 2 more minutes. The guests seated behind us received their food including a pizza at 6:30. My husband then got up from our table and approach the waitress. Once she saw him she grabbed the pizza. When she brought the pizza to the table I asked what took so long, as we had already finished our food. They had made the wrong pizza but we were not notified of this and were then told there was also a function. We waited about 40 minutes for my son's food to arrive. What happened to telling customers there might a delay in getting food or coming to tell us they made a mistake. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

As I am currently sitting on the toilet, due to the effects of the Asian salmon, I am pondering the thoughts of if it was worth it to consume the Asian salmon. as I've come to the conclusion, while still on the toilet, I remember how scrumptious the salmon was, and it was definitely worth it. I recommend Travelers, but stay away from the Asian salmon if you do not want to call the plumber. Went here for dinner the other evening with my brother and my husband. They ordered the salmon and fish and chip and both enjoyed their meals. I ordered a side Caesar and the bruschetta mussels as my meal. No complaints about the salad. I've ordered the mussels before and swear they were served with bread (unless I'm mistaken), which I did not receive this time. There were probably about 25ish mussels in the crock. Seven of them did not open, which means they are dead and cannot be eaten. I told the waitress and she said, "Oh, I'll tell the kitchen." No apology, no offers of a discount or a few extra mussels... I mean, when you only are getting about 25 mussels, that's nearly 1/3 of my meal that I could not eat. I was disappointed and would hesitate to go back based on my customer service experience. read more

My friends and I loved their chili in the past. To our surprise last night it's no longer on the menu. Other than as an appetizer. I ordered vodka chicken Parm. First the sauce was just tomato sauce.
