    Gouda Stuffed Meatloaf

This establishment has changed hands a few times over the last decade and I was anxious to try it out. The atmosphere is inviting with a Star Wars stormtrooper getting you at the door. The service was prompt and informative. For anyone wanting a menu with variety I think their menu would please you. From comfort food like Shepherds pie to traditional fish and chips they cover all the bases. They would have received 5 stars but their Fall Sangria lacked flavor. Everything else was great. Check it out ... you will be glad you did.

I've never dined in here but I really enjoy Traveler's for takeout! I've never had a bad meal here. I just tried the Stuffed Chicken and it was delicious! Add the cranberry sauce and you get a great balance of creaminess and rich flavors. Highly recommend!

I went in for lunch as i heart they have a great lunch special! I heard right. I got a chicken parm wrap, fries and a soup for $15! The cocktails were super reasonably priced! I got a strawberry coconut margarita and it was delicious! Lunchtime was pretty quiet, which was nice after my work day. I sat at the bar and Courtney took great care of me. She was attentive and helpful! Everyone on staff was just as wonderful. I def would go back. They have so many specials and a ton of choices on their menu!

Great space as I was here for an event in their private room and ending up going for dinner! I had the pizza and it was very good! Menu has all different and random items to pick from.

Stumbled into RAMEN MONDAY at Traveler's and so happy we did! Loved my Ramen with Shrimp, Broccoli, and Bean Sprouts. One suggestion: cut the broccoli smaller, please. Chopsticks made large florets difficult.

Good service. Just sat in the bar with my date for a couple of drinks. Good prices. Got a Cisco Peached whale for $5. I'll be back!

Great beer selection on tap from ipas to ciders to whatever mixed drink you are looking for. We were taken care of right away by the bartender and later on another. The mozz sticks were great, nice cheese pull, the Reuben was the clear winner, not too salty at all, good flavor. The brisket was a little dry for the cheesesteak, and the burger was undercooked (asked for medium well got more of a medium rare), the bun also didn't hold up that great, but the fries were excellent good salt levels crisp and crunch. Would definitely come back for a Bev and a bite!

The whole place has that genuine hometown vibe that's getting harder to find, plus consistently great live music (Sundays especially). It's on the smaller side, but they somehow pack the place without sacrificing service, which says a lot. When the weather warms up, they open up a large alley next to the pub for live music--and that's where this place really shines. On a crisp fall day? Forget about it... that's exactly where I want to be. Good food, good people, good music--what more do you need? Enjoy the good times ahead.

The vibe is cool, and they serve up some solid food alongside a great craft beer flight. The Food: Pan Seared NBMA Scallops ($24): Served with linguica, summer corn succotash, and harissa aioli. This appetizer was very fresh and exceptionally good. Beet Salad ($15): Whipped goat cheese, roasted beets, blood orange, toasted pistachios, pickled red onion, arugula, EVOO, and balsamic glaze. My wife loved this salad--it was packed with fresh flavors and textures. Lobster Truffle Grilled Cheese ($32): Made with Gruyère cheese, fresh-picked lobster meat, truffle oil, and toasted sourdough. While it tasted good, the truffle flavor was very light, and there wasn't as much lobster as I would expect for a $32 price tag. Ultimately, it was good, but not really worth the price. The Drinks: We also grabbed a four-beer flight, which came on a fun whale-tail paddle with a handy menu card: 1. Raz Sour 2. Blueberry Ale 3. Capsized IPA 4. Colonial Ale Overall, a fun spot with great starters and a cool flight setup. I'd definitely go back for the scallops and drinks, though I might skip the lobster grilled cheese next time.

I had my eye on the garlic prime rib special, which I enjoyed with mashed taters and pickled beets. My starter was the thick clam chowder along with rolls and dipping oil. Next time! This is a place frequented by numerous locals and the bartender seemed to know everyone by name! The menu is extensive from bar pizza to seafood to hearty sandwiches. I'll definitely be back again when I'm in the area.

It started to go wrong when the waitress pushed the hot plate into my arm to get it in front of me. I didn't know she was there. I think I was turned looking into my handbag. Instead of saying excuse me, she just pushed it into my arm. Are you serious?? She was holding the plate with a towel. No smile. No you're welcome when told thank you. I was a waitress. I understand the job. She does not. The final blow was when someone in my party started choking. I jumped up and said help. No one came over. My waitress did not come over. She saw. A young bus girl was the only person possessing a brain and empathy. The person who had been choking ran to the men's room. No one from the restaurant approached or asked him if he was ok. Do better. Your establishment has a responsibility to be prepared and have a plan for a crisis like I have described. I don't need to spend over $100 to be treated poorly by an angry waitress. I always tip well. Even if the service might not be the best because I've been there and a waitress doesn't always have control over everything. You're lucky you got any kind of a tip from me! I won't be going back to Mike's even with the great food.

The Painkiller is fantastic, especially if you add caramel. The Epic Vanilla Skooma is dangerously addictive - the flavor profile is incredible, and honestly nobody else in the area comes close. The Buzz is another excellent choice. The food is just as impressive. Their linguica and cheese rolls are leagues above the competition, and I'd put them alongside the very best around. I highly recommend ordering a regular cheese roll leveled up with egg, bacon, and their house-made hot sauce. If you enjoy a Portuguese style hot sauce, this combination is absolutely worth trying - you will not be disappointed. The peanut butter cookie is unreal; I genuinely wish I had the recipe. The baked goods are consistently excellent, and whenever they have a special, just order it. I've rarely been disappointed by anything they've made. I used to live nearby and honestly miss having this place around. Their pizzas deserve recognition too. They're some of my favorite bar style pizzas in the area. If you prefer an ultra thin pizza, you might lean toward Dipper Cafe, but it's hard to beat The Meatball Thing, the Thanksgiving pizza during the holidays, and many of their other specialty pies. The atmosphere adds even more to the experience. They have arcade style games you can play while you wait, and the music is always great. If you're into King Diamond or heavier music, you'll probably hear something you love. If you live nearby or are just passing through the area, don't skip The Nook. For me - and for everyone I've recommended it to - The Nook easily earns the title of best coffee shop in the area.

It's perhaps a tad too small inside, but that's what makes it a nook. Lots of hot and iced coffee options, food is quality over quantity: get their signature cheese or linguica roll as-is or "leveled up" to make it an egg sandwich because it's the best around.
