We decided to come here for happy hour after work for a good wine down and the service sucked. And our waiter sucked even more she wouldn't give her name but it was a Spanish girl and she was sooo rude had an attitude every time we had to call her to our table. Having to call the waiter or waitress to your table every time you need something puts a bad taste in my mouth you should be the one to be attentive to us we are your costumers you ask us if we need something and that was NEVER done. I do not appreciate going out and being ignored. My friend Told me that happy he was til 9 so I was like okay we don't have to rush. We get there around 7:40pm she sits us at a middle booth I ask her if we could have a booth she tells me no because those are for bigger parties but I'm looking at all the other people sit at the booths and it's all parties or 2 people so why she couldn't sit us baffles me. Then I tell her that another friend is coming so can we sit at the booth she tells me no that I have to wait for my friend to get there first. We wait then asked another server and she let us live to the booth. Then I ask her what time is happy hour over she tells me 8pm so now me and my friend are scrambling to order the rest of what we want off the happy hour menu. Then my friend mentions how they advertise happy hour u til 9pm on their Instagram. I showed her the flyer and immediately she said I'll honor it, but you knew before I showed you that happy hour was til 9pm but just didn't want to let us know about it so now we ordered more happy drinks and their sitting there watering down because we thinking it was over at 8 I don't like to be mistreated at any establishment I go to and you never know who your serving. Then we spilled out r drink you think the waiter came over to help us wipe it up or try to see if we were okay none of that happened at all we help ourselves the whole time unless we decide to call them over. People need to humble them selves and little bit more and take their jobs a little bit more serious especially when it comes to servicing people food and drinks. Now I will say that although I didn't have a great experience the appetizers food was really good and we all enjoyed it. We had the sweet chilli wings, calamari, and mozzarella sticks The punch was really good as well I just wish they had better servers because the ones they do have sucked and they need to retrained on how to deal with people cause clearly they do not but overall this isn't a place I will be back to I like leaving good reviews not bad ones and this place out a bad taste in my mouth now if they trained their staff properly then maybe I would give it another shot.

Unreasonable cover charge of $20 and cash only. ATM charge $3.45 for each transaction, and they are not communicating properly with other employees. Came with 3 ppl and we each were charge 3.45 at ATM. Was told to come to a section and immediately told to leave. SMH hard to support! I'm just gonna say in midtown, don't get charged to come in - better hospitality by maybe 1,000 From my perspective there are a 1,000 other places to spend your money at, this is not close to top 20. S/N after an hr of being in here someone informed me that I should of never been charged $20 that's 20x 4 $80 that someone pocketed. Such a disappointment to be taking advantage of. Do not recommend will not be back. Don't care about responses from this establishment either ‍

This is a good bar to come have a good drink with good vibes, the DJ is always on point, the food is always good, you can always have a good time here. BUT!!!!! Ever since COVID, I know all business had a rough time loosing money but it seem like some just took it overboard trying to recover from their losses, charging outrageous prices for drinks, entrence ETC.. Drinks went from $10,12 to $19,20 Food went went from $10, $12 to $19,20 Entrence went from $10,15 to $20,25 And not only that, the drink are now served on smaller cups for $20‍ Basically everything doubled lol You can't just come here to have a drink without spending $100 anymore with cover fee and all I'll always support the Bronx but sometimes driving downtown an extra 15min seems worth it ‍

Sorry for the photo quality rum punch and a cute fish bowl drink

Soooooooooo.......I have a new happy hour spot.....yes I only rate it a 3....well 3.5...and even thought I will most definitely return I will tell you why I have yet to give it all 5 stars..... So I went on a Wednesday evening at 6:00 to meet a friend for drinks .....I picked this location even with its mixed reviews because it was close to her job...I arrived at the establishment before my friend.....and the bartender greeted me and quickly told me about their happy hour specials and how it works......Monday - Friday happy hour is from 3-8 and Saturday and Sunday 3 till 7.....she gave me happy hour menu that had super affordable drinks and food....and hookah. I was told I could order specials all the way till 8 ...but at 8 we had to close out the happy hour tab and start a new one. When I arrived there was only one other patron but that changed within 30 min. I met a regular who told me ALL the reasons why she comes here 5 out of 7 days a week. I had run punch and a pitcher of passion fruit mojitos.....now I am a "drinker" and for these to be cheap happy hour drinks they were strong and fruity....not watered down at all. We ordered several bites from the happy hour menu....all equally good....we had fried shrimp and fries....mozzarella sticks....chicharones and platanos....and chimi sliders......all of these were small plates....my favorite was the chimi sliders....and the garlic lime dipping sauce for the chicharones de pollo.....and my least favorite was the chicharones themselves..... About 10 min till 8 the bartender asked if we wanted another pitcher as to take advantage of the special......I think that was cool of her... So a quick run down..... Super affordable.....my tab was only $62 and yes they add 15% gratuity to all checks. The place gets pack the later it gets.....and people do dance in the limited space there is. The bathroom is clean but a single....one for man one for woman....so you may have to wait if the place is crowded. The reason I did not give this place 5 stars....I took away an whole star due to the location......the place is true to it's name......it truly is located at the last stop on the 2/5 train line in the BX.......this is a very isolated and creepy looking at night....it is nowhere you would want to have to wait outside for an Uber.....the only life on the block is the establishment itself.....and since I did not have dinner or brunch I can't comment.....so I will reserve .5 a star for that..... I will be going back.....would probably go frequently if it was a different location.....my current true rating is a 3.5.....

As of 9/26/2020 - the seating is right under the 2 train chile. Like, you can look up and see the passengers LOL They also have seating next to the venue under a covering which isn't a bad option depending on your vibe. It got 4 stars though bc half priced drinks for happy hour and even though the food was all in to-go containers, everything was hitting.

Our experience was AMAZING! The ambiance is beautiful and the food is even better. My goodness!!…read more we ordered the Teriyaki Beef Meatballs for an appetizer, Red Sangria, 1730 White Wine Pasta and the Steak with Chilli drizzle. Let me share that the food was served the perfect temperature and absolutely delicious!!!! I mean delicious. Thee Red Sangria and White Wine Pasta will have me coming back again....Again....AGAIN. The meatballs (so juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce and sesame seeds) were served with 2 slices of garlic bread that were flavorful. When the entrees came to the table, our mouths dropped. I mean we were drooling. LoL!!!! Because we knew it wasn't going to disappoint. I ordered the 1730 pasta which is really "Rasta pasta". It was made fresh with onions, Tri-colored peppers, jerk chicken breast and penne pasta in a creamy yet delicious white sauce. This is now....considered my favorite Rasta Pasta. I'm going back and re-ordering every time. My husband ordered the steak with mixed vegetables (fresh cut string beans, cauliflower and broccoli) and mashed potatoes. He fell in love at the first bite of the steak. Not only did it cut like butter, but it had a hint of spice. Which he loves! I ate a piece and thought about suya. It was well seasoned and enjoyed. The mashed potatoes had chunks of potatoes and red skin inside. I love a chunky mashed potato.

I arrived around 5:30 p.m. and was waiting for my friend, who was about 30 minutes away. The bar was completely empty at the time. One of the waitresses kindly offered me a nearby table while I waited. I ordered a sparkling water and spinach artichoke dip and sat there until my friend arrived. Once my friend arrived, our waitress told us she understood that I had only been sitting at that table while waiting and offered to show us the back area so we could choose where we wanted to sit. We walked through the restaurant, saw the outdoor patio, and decided to sit outside. After about 20 minutes, while still waiting for our appetizers, bugs repeatedly landed on the table and were biting us. We decided we would be more comfortable inside. As we were walking back in, our waitress was coming out with two of our three appetizers, and the owner, who I believe was named Dawn or Donna, was behind her. My friend began explaining that we wanted to move inside because of the bugs. Before she could even finish, the owner interrupted us with an attitude and said, "You ladies can't keep moving from table to table. I have to wash these tablecloths." I was honestly stunned. First, we were not randomly moving ourselves from table to table. Her own employee had offered me the first table while I waited for my friend and then specifically offered to show us other seating once my friend arrived. Second, there wasn't even a tablecloth on the outdoor table we were leaving. When I tried to explain that we had been offered the different seating, the owner responded by pointing out that I had eaten at the first table and now she had to clean that table as well as another one. That response told me everything I needed to know about how our business was valued. As a business owner, if your concern over cleaning a table or washing a tablecloth outweighs making two paying customers feel welcomed and comfortable, you may save a few dollars on laundry, but you can also lose customers permanently. Unfortunately, the food didn't make the experience any better. The vegetable spring rolls and chicken spring rolls were overcooked. The spinach artichoke dip and pita bread were the only items we really enjoyed. We also waited approximately 10-12 minutes just to get ice. We probably should have left after the owner's initial interaction, but we stayed, finished our wine, and graciously paid our bill. What made the experience even more uncomfortable happened as we were leaving. The owner thanked my friend for coming, then looked at me and said, "No hard feelings. I just needed to say what I needed to say." There were hard feelings--not because she addressed a legitimate issue, but because of how she chose to speak to paying customers when the seating changes had been offered by her own staff and the final move was simply because we were being bitten by bugs outside. Customer service matters. Courtesy matters. How you speak to people who choose to spend their money in your establishment matters. Unfortunately, based on the owner's treatment of us, I will not return. What could have been a pleasant evening and an opportunity to gain two repeat customers instead became an experience that ensured we won't be back.

The ambiance and aesthetics definitely lived up to the hype, and our waitress was kind, attentive, and did her best throughout the night. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill because of the wait. We arrived and were seated around 7:45 PM, but we didn't receive our food until about 9:15 PM. We ordered a Caesar salad, oxtail spring rolls, lomo, and jerk chicken. After waiting for what felt like forever, our waitress explained that our order had been given to the wrong table. While I appreciated her honesty, it was frustrating that it took so long for the mistake to be noticed and corrected. As for the food, I'd give it a 3.5/10. It had potential, but overall it just missed the mark for me. After such a long wait, I expected much better. We were only offered 15% off the bill, which didn't really feel like adequate compensation for a 90-minute wait caused by the restaurant's mistake. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. I'd seen this restaurant all over social media and had high expectations, but my experience didn't live up to the hype.
