    Oxtail rasta pasta
    Neomi N.

Love the decor and ambience. The service was attentive and the food was delicious! The oxtail was flavorful and tender, the Rasta pasta was nice and spicy. The rum punch is so good! My only note, is the pineapple wings didn't have any pineapple flavor to them - would've been nice if they used real pineapple or pineapple juice to make the sauce so you could really taste the pineapple flavor but they were battered and fried perfectly. Can't wait to come back!

Great spot in the Bronx for Happy Hour to eat and enjoy dinner. Came here after work with sister. The food and drinks were amazing. Great service and ambience. If was karaoke night so very lively place. Will definitely check it out again.

I stopped into this restaurant to get brunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in ans was greeted and sat. I was served by Kenisha and she was great! I ordered: Island Vibes Drips Banana Oats Porridge Ackee Empanada Rasta Pasta Jerk Chicken Coco Bread Sandwich Coconut Salmon The food was delicious! My favorite was the rasta pasta! I had a great experience!

We only had appetizers which were small, but sauce was tasty. We got there around 2pm. I found this place on TikTok and was curious. We sat at the bar which was empty, bartender was nice, the ambiance was very quiet and calm. I gave it a 4 due to the area.

Ackee & saltfish breadfruit appetizer with passion fruit margarita

As a Jamaican, it is rare that I enjoy Jamaican food unless it's a takeout spot. A lot of fine dining spots sacrifice flavor when they focus on creativity. The ackee and saltfish breadfruit bites with sweet plantains on top were perfect. The snapper meal came with callaloo sides (which were surprisingly not bitter), mashed potatoes and surrounded by veggies and okra. Flavor was amazing and I couldn't finish it at all and this was $45 with the margarita included For restaurant week. Everyone raved at how strong they were. Now for the ambiance- the place had a romantic vibe as it had dark walls with red roses. Cute for a date night and had a live steel pan performer which was perfect as I could still hear my friends talk. The server was nice, gave 2 free birthday cakes, but the only negative I can think is that the service didn't come out at the same time for everyone for the drinks/appetizer/entrees. A1.

    Rasta pasta,curry goat,Mac and cheese,shrimp taco

The experience wasn't bad it was chill good vibe and music but the Mac and cheese wasn't that good it look and taste like straight up cheese and water, the rasta Pasta was good, the shrimp taco was plain, but later on that day when me and my boyfriend got home my boyfriend had a allergic reaction to the food

Last Sunday me and my beautiful fiancé were looking for someplace to have brunch, and I stumbled upon drips restaurant and lounge in the Bronx. I have driven past this restaurant many times in my life and I never knew that it was here from the outside. The restaurant is not very glamorous but once you step inside the interior decorations, the music and the atmosphere just screams hidden gem. The staff was very welcoming, and the patrons were dressed to impress. The restaurant played A lot of throwback R&B hits which made the experience even more enjoyable. I noticed a lot of people ordering the oxtail Rasta pasta so I definitely had to try it for my appetizer. I got the drippy sweet chili wings, for my entrée I got the oxtail Rasta pasta included with the meal. Was your choice of bottomless mimosas or screwdrivers. I chose the screwdriver. When the wings came to the table, they were still piping hot and the sauce was amazing. The wings were crispy. Just the way you would expect once I finished my appetizer maybe 10 minutes later my food came out and the presentation was amazing. The portions were very hearty definitely worth every penny. I left the restaurant absolutely satisfied and I cannot wait to come back to this restaurant and try some more of their dishes. It was a great dining experience and even if just for drinks, I'm sure it will be an amazing time as well.

Checked out Drips on a Wednesday evening for happy hour which lasts all day. I loved the space. It's small inside, but gives upscale vibes. They have a mix of high chair and regular seating. They were playing RnB hits all night which was great when the drinks kicked in. Everything for happy hour is approximately $6-$8 so I tried the Sweet Chili wings and passionfruit lemon drop. The wings were crispy and fresh! This was my first time having a lemon drop and the flavor was delicious. I also tried the Mango Lemon drop too. I would recommend either! Service isn't speedy, but it is not terrible. You have good music, great ambiance and drinks.

Drip was dripping with charm. A cozy, cute and intimate restaurant that immediately pulls you in with its inviting vibe and delicious smells. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. The space is small with tight seating, making it perfect for a date night or an intimate group celebration. Adding to the lively atmosphere was a DJ spinning tracks that had us dirty winding in our seats all night--definitely a highlight of the night! Service started off quick and attentive but slowed down considerably as the night went on. However, the food was well worth the wait--each dish was packed with flavor and cooked to near perfection. I kicked things off with the ackee and saltfish tacos, sampled the mac and cheese, and for my main, I had the curry goat with rasta pasta. Every bite was banging. For drinks, we went with the carafe of rum punch, which was just the right amount for our group of four to each enjoy a full small glass. Overall, Drip delivers on both vibe and flavor, though a bit more consistency in service would make it an even better experience. Would definitely return!

The bartenders are unprofessional and rude. Kenisha and Matthew have no sense of customer service. I've given this place a chance multiple times because they make fast food, but this will be the last time i come here. Bartender Matthew heard me ask him if their "fruit punch" had alcohol in there, said no and after I ordered, I somehow ended up with a rum punch. Apparently he "never serves punch without alcohol in there" If the item is not available, why have it on the menu? Kenisha is rude and we have had zero interaction since the last time she tried to disrespect me, and I had a conversation with the owner. Barry and Jerome are the only ones that have respect towards the customers and should be working elsewhere. I see why Tracy left. Came back after 2 months (used to stop by once a week) and I know why. This will be the last time i come back to this establishment.

@dripsnyc is a black-owned Caribbean restaurant and lounge located in the Bronx. It offers a delightful combination of some of the best eats and drinks in the area. With its aesthetically pleasing decor, great music, and very welcoming staff, DripsNYC provides a vibrant and enjoyable dining experience. This spot is great for hanging with friends or a date night (went on a Friday). Now the best says to come are on the weekend because of their Oxtail and Curry goat rasta pastas!! If you're a diabetic, I definitely recommend sticking with one meal of heavy carbs because it tastes phenomenal and make sure you grab their chicken wings, It is delicious. So many good vibes here, especially if you want to celebrate a birthday and they have a DJ, playing chill beats all night. Perfect for solo vibes to group gatherings. Drinks are also amazing and service is nice and welcoming.

I went to try this place another places I found on TikTok that had good reviews and is not far from my house decide to try it with my cousin . When we got there they go by reservation for table because is a very small place we decide to sit a the bar. They don't have a big selection of food or drinks. We decide to go with the oxtail which was delicious I tried the signature drink which was ok could have used more liquor but overall i was ok a little pricey . The bartender was not the best think it was too busy for her to be attentive to everyone at the bar seemed like she was the only one making the drinks so waited long to get one.

Let me share that the food was served the perfect temperature and absolutely delicious!!!! I mean delicious. Thee Red Sangria and White Wine Pasta will have me coming back again....Again....AGAIN. The meatballs (so juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce and sesame seeds) were served with 2 slices of garlic bread that were flavorful. When the entrees came to the table, our mouths dropped. I mean we were drooling. LoL!!!! Because we knew it wasn't going to disappoint. I ordered the 1730 pasta which is really "Rasta pasta". It was made fresh with onions, Tri-colored peppers, jerk chicken breast and penne pasta in a creamy yet delicious white sauce. This is now....considered my favorite Rasta Pasta. I'm going back and re-ordering every time. My husband ordered the steak with mixed vegetables (fresh cut string beans, cauliflower and broccoli) and mashed potatoes. He fell in love at the first bite of the steak. Not only did it cut like butter, but it had a hint of spice. Which he loves! I ate a piece and thought about suya. It was well seasoned and enjoyed. The mashed potatoes had chunks of potatoes and red skin inside. I love a chunky mashed potato.

I arrived around 5:30 p.m. and was waiting for my friend, who was about 30 minutes away. The bar was completely empty at the time. One of the waitresses kindly offered me a nearby table while I waited. I ordered a sparkling water and spinach artichoke dip and sat there until my friend arrived. Once my friend arrived, our waitress told us she understood that I had only been sitting at that table while waiting and offered to show us the back area so we could choose where we wanted to sit. We walked through the restaurant, saw the outdoor patio, and decided to sit outside. After about 20 minutes, while still waiting for our appetizers, bugs repeatedly landed on the table and were biting us. We decided we would be more comfortable inside. As we were walking back in, our waitress was coming out with two of our three appetizers, and the owner, who I believe was named Dawn or Donna, was behind her. My friend began explaining that we wanted to move inside because of the bugs. Before she could even finish, the owner interrupted us with an attitude and said, "You ladies can't keep moving from table to table. I have to wash these tablecloths." I was honestly stunned. First, we were not randomly moving ourselves from table to table. Her own employee had offered me the first table while I waited for my friend and then specifically offered to show us other seating once my friend arrived. Second, there wasn't even a tablecloth on the outdoor table we were leaving. When I tried to explain that we had been offered the different seating, the owner responded by pointing out that I had eaten at the first table and now she had to clean that table as well as another one. That response told me everything I needed to know about how our business was valued. As a business owner, if your concern over cleaning a table or washing a tablecloth outweighs making two paying customers feel welcomed and comfortable, you may save a few dollars on laundry, but you can also lose customers permanently. Unfortunately, the food didn't make the experience any better. The vegetable spring rolls and chicken spring rolls were overcooked. The spinach artichoke dip and pita bread were the only items we really enjoyed. We also waited approximately 10-12 minutes just to get ice. We probably should have left after the owner's initial interaction, but we stayed, finished our wine, and graciously paid our bill. What made the experience even more uncomfortable happened as we were leaving. The owner thanked my friend for coming, then looked at me and said, "No hard feelings. I just needed to say what I needed to say." There were hard feelings--not because she addressed a legitimate issue, but because of how she chose to speak to paying customers when the seating changes had been offered by her own staff and the final move was simply because we were being bitten by bugs outside. Customer service matters. Courtesy matters. How you speak to people who choose to spend their money in your establishment matters. Unfortunately, based on the owner's treatment of us, I will not return. What could have been a pleasant evening and an opportunity to gain two repeat customers instead became an experience that ensured we won't be back.

We ordered a Caesar salad, oxtail spring rolls, lomo, and jerk chicken. After waiting for what felt like forever, our waitress explained that our order had been given to the wrong table. While I appreciated her honesty, it was frustrating that it took so long for the mistake to be noticed and corrected. As for the food, I'd give it a 3.5/10. It had potential, but overall it just missed the mark for me. After such a long wait, I expected much better. We were only offered 15% off the bill, which didn't really feel like adequate compensation for a 90-minute wait caused by the restaurant's mistake. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. I'd seen this restaurant all over social media and had high expectations, but my experience didn't live up to the hype.

The Mac and cheese is more of a cream sauce so it's not gooey like traditional Mac and cheese, but the flavor makes me come back to it every time I come. The truffle fries are always fried to perfection and pair so well with the Caesar salad (you can tell they make their own dressing). I also like that they have mocktails! I don't drink so it's nice to have a mocktail option. I've only tried the Give Me A Minute mocktail which I'm very loyal to.
