The experience wasn't bad it was chill good vibe and music but the Mac and cheese wasn't that good it look and taste like straight up cheese and water, the rasta Pasta was good, the shrimp taco was plain, but later on that day when me and my boyfriend got home my boyfriend had a allergic reaction to the food

I stopped into this restaurant to get brunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in ans was greeted and sat. I was served by Kenisha and she was great! I ordered: Island Vibes Drips Banana Oats Porridge Ackee Empanada Rasta Pasta Jerk Chicken Coco Bread Sandwich Coconut Salmon The food was delicious! My favorite was the rasta pasta! I had a great experience!

Shrimp quesadilla, the best part was the sauce.

We only had appetizers which were small, but sauce was tasty. We got there around 2pm. I found this place on TikTok and was curious. We sat at the bar which was empty, bartender was nice, the ambiance was very quiet and calm. I gave it a 4 due to the area.

As a Jamaican, it is rare that I enjoy Jamaican food unless it's a takeout spot. A lot of fine dining spots sacrifice flavor when they focus on creativity. The ackee and saltfish breadfruit bites with sweet plantains on top were perfect. The snapper meal came with callaloo sides (which were surprisingly not bitter), mashed potatoes and surrounded by veggies and okra. Flavor was amazing and I couldn't finish it at all and this was $45 with the margarita included For restaurant week. Everyone raved at how strong they were. Now for the ambiance- the place had a romantic vibe as it had dark walls with red roses. Cute for a date night and had a live steel pan performer which was perfect as I could still hear my friends talk. The server was nice, gave 2 free birthday cakes, but the only negative I can think is that the service didn't come out at the same time for everyone for the drinks/appetizer/entrees. A1.

Last Sunday me and my beautiful fiancé were looking for someplace to have brunch, and I stumbled upon drips restaurant and lounge in the Bronx. I have driven past this restaurant many times in my life and I never knew that it was here from the outside. The restaurant is not very glamorous but once you step inside the interior decorations, the music and the atmosphere just screams hidden gem. The staff was very welcoming, and the patrons were dressed to impress. The restaurant played A lot of throwback R&B hits which made the experience even more enjoyable. I noticed a lot of people ordering the oxtail Rasta pasta so I definitely had to try it for my appetizer. I got the drippy sweet chili wings, for my entrée I got the oxtail Rasta pasta included with the meal. Was your choice of bottomless mimosas or screwdrivers. I chose the screwdriver. When the wings came to the table, they were still piping hot and the sauce was amazing. The wings were crispy. Just the way you would expect once I finished my appetizer maybe 10 minutes later my food came out and the presentation was amazing. The portions were very hearty definitely worth every penny. I left the restaurant absolutely satisfied and I cannot wait to come back to this restaurant and try some more of their dishes. It was a great dining experience and even if just for drinks, I'm sure it will be an amazing time as well.

The bartenders are unprofessional and rude. Kenisha and Matthew have no sense of customer service. I've given this place a chance multiple times because they make fast food, but this will be the last time i come here. Bartender Matthew heard me ask him if their "fruit punch" had alcohol in there, said no and after I ordered, I somehow ended up with a rum punch. Apparently he "never serves punch without alcohol in there" If the item is not available, why have it on the menu? Kenisha is rude and we have had zero interaction since the last time she tried to disrespect me, and I had a conversation with the owner. Barry and Jerome are the only ones that have respect towards the customers and should be working elsewhere. I see why Tracy left. Came back after 2 months (used to stop by once a week) and I know why. This will be the last time i come back to this establishment.

Checked out Drips on a Wednesday evening for happy hour which lasts all day. I loved the space. It's small inside, but gives upscale vibes. They have a mix of high chair and regular seating. They were playing RnB hits all night which was great when the drinks kicked in. Everything for happy hour is approximately $6-$8 so I tried the Sweet Chili wings and passionfruit lemon drop. The wings were crispy and fresh! This was my first time having a lemon drop and the flavor was delicious. I also tried the Mango Lemon drop too. I would recommend either! Service isn't speedy, but it is not terrible. You have good music, great ambiance and drinks.

Drip was dripping with charm. A cozy, cute and intimate restaurant that immediately pulls you in with its inviting vibe and delicious smells. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. The space is small with tight seating, making it perfect for a date night or an intimate group celebration. Adding to the lively atmosphere was a DJ spinning tracks that had us dirty winding in our seats all night--definitely a highlight of the night! Service started off quick and attentive but slowed down considerably as the night went on. However, the food was well worth the wait--each dish was packed with flavor and cooked to near perfection. I kicked things off with the ackee and saltfish tacos, sampled the mac and cheese, and for my main, I had the curry goat with rasta pasta. Every bite was banging. For drinks, we went with the carafe of rum punch, which was just the right amount for our group of four to each enjoy a full small glass. Overall, Drip delivers on both vibe and flavor, though a bit more consistency in service would make it an even better experience. Would definitely return!

@dripsnyc is a black-owned Caribbean restaurant and lounge located in the Bronx. It offers a delightful combination of some of the best eats and drinks in the area. With its aesthetically pleasing decor, great music, and very welcoming staff, DripsNYC provides a vibrant and enjoyable dining experience. This spot is great for hanging with friends or a date night (went on a Friday). Be sure to make reservations because this place fills up quickly. - Personal Favs What we had to drink Bless Up Island Vibes Rum Punch What we had to eat Calamari Jerk Chicken Tacos Rasta Pasta (With Chicken and Shrimp) Pineapple Salmon

Now the best says to come are on the weekend because of their Oxtail and Curry goat rasta pastas!! If you're a diabetic, I definitely recommend sticking with one meal of heavy carbs because it tastes phenomenal and make sure you grab their chicken wings, It is delicious. So many good vibes here, especially if you want to celebrate a birthday and they have a DJ, playing chill beats all night. Perfect for solo vibes to group gatherings. Drinks are also amazing and service is nice and welcoming.

I went to try this place another places I found on TikTok that had good reviews and is not far from my house decide to try it with my cousin . When we got there they go by reservation for table because is a very small place we decide to sit a the bar. They don't have a big selection of food or drinks. We decide to go with the oxtail which was delicious I tried the signature drink which was ok could have used more liquor but overall i was ok a little pricey . The bartender was not the best think it was too busy for her to be attentive to everyone at the bar seemed like she was the only one making the drinks so waited long to get one.

Rasta pasta , sweet salmon . Food was warm

Hi , I was honestly a bit disappointed because our appetizers took about an hour to come out . We had got there around 930ish & we didn't not receive it till 10:45 . Our waiter Mary never came to apologize or check up on , another waiter came & asks us if we were still waiting for our appetizers. Once we received it , i called our waiter to place the entrees . Her words exactly "hurry up because the kitchen is going to close . I said that is not our problem since our appetizers took this long & she proceeded to say yeah the kitchen is running a little slow . STILL NO APOLOGIES. Food came out warm & I was even more disappointed because it was not bad at all . We had another waiter check up our food & her customer service was excellent don't remember her name but she was lightskin/short curly hair . That she ended up finishing us off . Once again the vibes , food was great but that customer service from Mary and the wait time for the food was unbelievable.

Reservations are a must for this very quaint establishment. Be advised that when making your reservation, there will the option of a table top or lounge seating. There is no "lounge" per se. All seating is in one area. The lounge seating is just your regular table and chair set up. Nevertheless. We came on a Saturday night. There was a live DJ. The place was crowded. Our server, Tracey was a doll! Very nice and had good recommendations. We ordered the Taco Trio w/ Shrimp, which was fresh and totally delicious. Since we weren't really hungry we opted to just get the jerk fried rice (with shrimp) which they gave a small portion of but we were able to share it. That too was very good, just a bit spice. The drinks were great as well. Tracey recommended the Montego Bay, which they can also do as a mocktail. We also ordered the drips Margarita. Overall this spot is cute. It has a nice elegant vibe to it. I don't think it's a place to frequent because it is so mall. Maybe when they upgrade to a bigger spot.

The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.

My go-to's are ALWAYS the kale Caesar salad, truffle fries and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is more of a cream sauce so it's not gooey like traditional Mac and cheese, but the flavor makes me come back to it every time I come. The truffle fries are always fried to perfection and pair so well with the Caesar salad (you can tell they make their own dressing). When I wanna switch it up I get the smashburger which is pretty good! I had my birthday dinner here last year so it was my family's first time coming here, so they all got smashburgers and were very pleased by the high quality of the meat and the flavor. I also like that they have mocktails! I don't drink so it's nice to have a mocktail option. I've only tried the Give Me A Minute mocktail which I'm very loyal to. It's a bit tart and sweet (the lavender syrup really brings it together), and I look forward to it each time I visit. Met the owner recently and he was very nice! Forgot to mention this in person but figure I'll put it here--if you add another plate option deal (happy hour?) that includes the Caesar salad, fries and a side of the Mac and cheese, me and my girlfriends would rather give you guys our money instead of venturing out to the city! Definitely consider coming here with some girlfriends after work for a nice drink and good eats. I've even come to dine on my own and enjoyed myself.
