One of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I called made an appointment and asked for my nails to be done at the same time toes and hands. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. I'm sitting there for a few minutes after I arrive to my appointment on time, I again asked if it's possible my hands and toes to be done at the same time the man that works there reconfirms yes. 3 minutes later he asked me to come sit at his desk so that way he can start working on my hands. So obviouslyit wont at the same time. I say nothing and proceed to let him start to do my fill. He cut my nails too short. I simply mention you cut my nails too. Nicely actually ALL I SAID WAS YOU CUT MY NAILS TO SHORT HE RESPINDED WITH I AM SORRY WE CANT HELP YOU TODAY. No trying to fix it or ask what like done just sorry you have to leave. WILD now cut filed and not done unbelievable I simply said you cut too short. I wasnt being rude. I've been coming here for over a year and Kylie is one of the best nail techs and owner. The quality is unmatched Nails always come out on point but she's extremely talented and nail art so anything you would want she could easily make the vibes are gray everyone's very friendly. I'm disappointed that I will NOT go back to her because she is very talented with her nail designs. I had been going to her for a while when she was working at a different little hole in the wall. But this last time I went she was extremely unpleasant and rude. I made appt as I usually did on IG messenger. We said 2pm Saturday (I reached out to her on Tuesday of that week). She ended up sending me her new address for this location an hour before my appt which I didn't see since I was running some errands. So I drove to her old location and saw her message as I turned off the car. Realized the address she sent me was a couple blocks down. I ended up getting to this new place at 2:07. I go inside and absolutely no one smiles at me or greets me (even a curt "we'll be right with you" would've been acceptable, at least some acknowledgment) I sat down and saw that she saw me while she continued doing someone else's nails. She didn't bother to tell me "hey I'm almost done" or anything. I understood I was 7 mins late and I wasn't even mad about having to wait, even though she could've sent me her new address sooner. I would've even understood if she would've said "hey you were late so I started someone else's nails so you'll have to wait" even though she never made me aware of a late policy. Either way, I waited patiently thinking she would be different once she started working on my nails. I waited a full 25 mins until she finished the other person's nails. Kylie walked by me twice and completely ignored me. She finally called my name and started working on my nails. I apologized for being late but explained that I hadn't seen her meesage until I got to the other place, again, no acknowledgment. I then proceeded to congratulate her on opening her own salon, nothing from her. At that point I decided to stay quiet and resigned myself to have nice nails even if she was going to be rude. She asked me what I wanted. I asked dip color since my natural nails were finally long and since dip requires 3 coats, that has always worked to keep my nails thick and hard to break. She scoffed and said that gelx was better and it was cheaper. I asked her the price of each. She said $40 for gelx and $45 for dip. I told her it was ok, that I was ok with the price of dip. She again looked annoyed so I told her that I trusted her and as long as my nails were thick to do whatever she thought was best. She got out the gel polish but then also got out the dip powder so I asked her what she was going to end up doing. She ignored me and continued. At that point I was quiet. She ended up doing only one coat of dip and then gel. My nails were pretty but not thick (1 nail broke 3 days later. when I've gotten dip on my natural nails with the full 3 coats, they have never broken). I asked for the price and she said $50! Even though she only did 1 coat of dip! I usually gave her $10 tips but I only paid her $55 and left knowing I would not be back. If it had been any other day, I would've left as soon as I felt unwelcome when stepping in to her salon but I had a party that evening and desperately needed my nails done. She also had her kid running around the place, which I can appreciate the hustle of a mother, but it doesn't account for what should be a relaxing service that is expensive. She kept yelling at him and looking away while filing my nails. That made it easier for me to decide to look elsewhere and share my unfortunate experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
