As a Vietnam Veteran and a recent Retiree from the Aerospace and Higher Education industry, I would like to share a "secret" in the Inland Empire about a quality organization that provides five star outstanding customer service availability through customer satisfaction: On a recent weekend I decided to post a requirement for my annual maintenance on my 24 month new air conditioning/heating and ventilation system. EVERYTHING very professional. Scheduling was easy with questions answered well. Technician arrived early within the service window. Roger Cuadra was extremely professional and polite. Explained the service and process, he did not proceed until we understood and were comfortable. His inspection appeared thorough and afterwards he explained his findings in detail with pictures and movies. Roger expert discussed our options to maintain, replace, repair, etc at this time as we are not prepared to replace the entire system(as I know is needed) at this time. I felt informed and comfortable setting on a course of action at this time. Roger went about the repairs/replacement expertly keeping his work areas organized and with as small a footprint as possible as to not disrupt our daily routine. This was my first inspection and filter change since my a HVAC system was installed. Once again the technician Christian, was very nice, very respectful and informative. He changed my filter, adjusted some of the vents that blew just a tad too much air in the smaller rooms, and examined and clean the AC unit outside. We bought a high end equipment due to the health benefits that it would give us base on the presentation of Ed on Wednesday afternoon The installation started 7:30 Am on same week Friday. My husband stayed at home working. Me and my daughter were outside with mother in law. Then we had dinner and waiting for my husband but he was still in the house with the technicians because the house wasn't cooling. He came to the restaurant at 8:30. He seems to be very tired/exhausted because of the heat. Airconditioner not working. It's good I have a mother in law living nearby. We slept at her house. A supervisor came around 10 the following day after my husband got a text message that the previous technicians are not coming. We waited for them to come around 7:15 am as they promised to be here by 7:30. The supervisor made temporary adjustment to make it cooler at 9:00 am Then We went to watch a Movie expecting house is working properly when we get back but it's not. House is at 86 same temp we left. the thermostat we put on 75 still not working Then When we were waiting it's still not working. All ceilings fans were turned on . We decided to leave the house at 6:00 pm and got to my mother in law because my daughter was having headache due to heat exhaustion. We schedule an appointment for Monday Aug 3 and they put us on between 10-12 schedule . I wish they knew the urgency of the situation. My husband and mother in law will be leaving the house Monday to meet my sister in laws family. My daughter planned to move 3 floor fan plus a ceiling fan to work so we can sleep. It's good my daughter is working but it's bad for Me because I have hypertension and I cannot be yawning because of the recent dental procedure I had I'm going to have locked jaw. I hope not. Plus we have puppies who cannot be in a hot house. I hope they fix the issue right away on Monday August 3, it's miserable. Today is Sunday August 2, AC still not working but I can hear the fan. I hope we are not paying for nothing. Hopefully they come tomorrow on schedule and fix it in short amount of time or we don't know what to do. The company should have at least call us to check on us but it's Sunday and it's 101 here in Beaumont. What was I thinking to agree to install on hot weather.. I just hope and pray they get this fixed right away. Moral lesson don't allow an install during hot weather. Company should have a team monitoring their install. Company should make sure all technicians know how to install system old or new. Me and my husband has to stay as we need to do household chores in the house. Very aweful experience because it's weekend and hottest week. I'm trying to be cool but this is very upsetting. Can't believe we are in this situation only in the mercy of lasting legacy. I will make more review next week until this issue is resolved. I normally give good reviews but I don't see any good as of now but only disappointments. The company should also have a dedicated person to answer complaints like this who can make clients feel well taken cared of in urgent manner. Not a good weekend. read more

We upgrade my system to UV protection and was able to show me cost of upgrades versus what I already have. His focus was stretching the longevity of my system, which was appreciated. My thermostat stopped working over the weekend so that I was not able to run my AC. When I called Lastin Legacy they were able to get a tech out same day who knew what it was most likely the cause. Sure enough Jacob found that the condensate was plugged up and due to the safety features of my system it automatically shuts off the T-stat. Jacob cleaned out the condensate drain and everything is up and running as should be. Always be skeptical of businesses that have an odd ratio of 5 stars to 1 stars. Service: sure, great when they're in your house acting like civil friendly people trying to genuinely diagnose your issues. Always polite. The reality: we all know this experience is like the feeling we get when our car breaks down and we have to take it to the mechanic. We know the hustle that they will start performing and the strategy we home owners have to employ. Usually, HVAC companies know the dance. My experience with legacy, they have a few employees that are responsible and follow through. But most of time i dealt with a pushy, even a bit aggressive when expressing my need to do my due diligence and get estimates. As soon as i mentioned i wanted to research a bit, boy did the tone shift. Red flag for anyone wanting to simply circulate our money in our city. I will always support local. But I didn't appreciate the fact that after several visits i never received a breakdown of what was discussed (other companies did) and when i reminded them, i was only offered a free year of general maintenance and a general apology. Never received anything in writing from their bully. I decided to go with other more reputable local joints and was pleasantly surprised at the difference in professionalism.
