My Chihuahua, Pinky, passed away last week. I ran across PALS on the United Pet Care website. I was in last Monday just as they opened. As soon as I walked in, Dan immediately tended to me and offered assistance in bringing my Pinky in. Dan was very gracious, empathetic, professional, supportive, and helpful. He explained all the options available for my Pinky's last arrangements. Be at ease that the staff will not rush you and will give you all the time you need to say bye to your pet. A few months back I lost my beloved one to cancer. It was a long fight but cancer won this time. I was a mess. My animal hospital informed me about P.A.L.S and their services. A nice young lady, named Tanya, carried my ursala and took care of her remains for me. A week later she delivered her ashes to my animal hospital. It is difficult to imagine a more difficult circumstance than to take a much loved pet to be cremated. The staff at PALS are truly amazing. I've been using their services for over ten years both for the loss of my own 'fur babies' but also as a volunteer at Tranquility Trail Animal Shelter when any of their treasured bunnies have passed away. These wonderful people helped me and my husband in November 2011 just two weeks after we moved to Phoenix and my bunny suddenly passed away due to stress of moving from Orlando, FL to Phoenix, AZ. They took great care of us and him we were told we will get him back in 5 to 7 days but we got his remains the very next day. As of today 9/18/13 my female bunny Emi passed away, so we took her here since we were very happy on how we and our male bunny Little Man were treated. My grandmother suffered a stroke and I had to fly out to bring her two cats down to Phoenix where we moved her. On my trip back her 19 year old cat passed away during the drive from a seizure. When I arrived back I reviewed many cremation pet services and this one was the highest. I was greated right away and moved into a private room that looked more like a room in a house where you can relax and was asked if I would like something to drink before we started my grandmas cats creamation options. On Wednesday afternoon we lost one of our love ones at our home. Having only ever had this happen at a vets office we were not too sure what to do. I googled pet cremation and PALS was the first recommended place. I called to see if there was still enough time to take her there as our drive was 30 minutes atleast and they closed in an hour and a half. I was blessed enough to get Daniel on the phone. He answered all my questions and his calm concerned tone made me feel at ease in such a shocking situation. He told me as long as we walked in the door by 6 they could take care of us. When we got there Daniel came out to the truck to meet us, offering to help cart her inside. We were instantly put into our own personal room where Daniel kindly walked us through the whole process and answered all of our questions. We left feeling comforted and sure our loved one would be taken care of as if she was theirs. By Friday we had a phone call that she was ready to come home. My 18 yr old Fallow Deer passed, he was a pet, not just livestock. I called Pals and from the first call its apparent the staff is compassionate and caring. I believe it was Tanya (sorry if wrong name) came to pick him up. She was totally professional and again, compassionate handling him for transport. She explained everything that would take place and that I will receive his remains in a week. I give this company five plus stars and will be using them in the future. I've used two other large animal transports before and they treated my animal pals like trash, just because a pet isn't a dog, cat or house pet doesn't mean we don't form a bond with them and lose a piece of our hearts when they pass. When my cat, Freddy, passed away last week. My friend suggested PALS. I arrived the next day and walked in the office and was immediately greeted kind heartedly. Moments later I was ushered into a room to sit down and provided information on my beloved cat. Daniel was good with listening and provided information over the cremation. Several days later I picked up Freddy's urn and was really happy with the beautiful box which included a little lock and keys with a heart name tag. It is truly beautiful and touching. We were truly blessed to work with PALS when we recently lost our beloved family dog. For 14 years, our Belgian Malinois, Beatrice, was our constant companion, protector and playmate to our kids. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. Our baby got hit by a car, and the police brought him to pals. We contacted them, and they confirmed it was our dog by the collar, bandana, and clothing he was wearing. They said they would set these items aside for us, as we wanted to keep them as mementos of our VERY loved dog. We went the next day to retrieve the articles, and make arrangements for his cremation. We got there and when they staff went to get the items they were not there. They went back and forth searching different places for them but could not. They then told us we needed to go see our dog, to identify him because they lost his things. This is not something either of us wanted to do! Our dog was our baby, and we did not want our last memory of him to be in a freezer, after he's been hit by a car!!! We were already grieving, and then these unprofessional people are adding to the stress, and messing even more with our emotions!!! We stepped outside because we were so upset and emotional. We saw the garbage truck drive by, and immediately we thought if they don't care enough to keep track of our dogs belongings, they might be in the trash. So I alerted one of the staff that their garbage truck was coming, and they started to pull the trash out and look. ....they found my boys' collar. In. The. Trash. They threw it away!! They had no regard that that dog was someone's loved one, and part of their life!! They just tossed it in the trash, after we specifically asked them to keep his thing's for our memory. So UNPROFESSIONAL, HEARTLESS, AND JUST WRONG. The other items of our dog were never recovered. I assume they were in some other trash. They did apologize, but at that point they had just made everything worse. They disrespected us and our loved one, they made our devastation and grieving worse. They gave us a free box to put Hunters ashes in, but how does that compare to such an awful experience?!? Please, if you love your animal, do NOT BRING them here. They will be treated like trash. read more

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience at PALS. Requested cremation of our dog and return of his orthopedic implant from his broken leg. I was given back cremains that are labeled as my dog with an orthopedic implant that did NOT belong to our dog. I wish I had never trusted PALS with my precious deceased family dog. I have no way to verify that the remains I have are actually my dog and I now have the orthopedic plate from someone else's dog! Sad, horrible experience, I would never trust them. read more

Our Calvin crossed over the Rainbow Bridge looking over his yard late on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I were devastated and didn't know what to do. Our dogs are like children to us and we wanted his remains treated properly. I started making calls and most places were either closed or closing. Finally I got the number for PALS and left a message with the answering service. Tanya called me back quickly and said she could be out in about an hour. Did I mention we live in Estrella Mountain Ranch, which is 10 miles south of the freeway and 30 miles from downtown Phoenix? She made it out as promised, and took our Calvin in to be cremated. We were going out of town the next weekend and she promised to rush the process and we brought Calvin back home on Tuesday in a beautiful cedar box. I can't recommend PALS enough, and while I am not anxious to use them again, at least I know when the time comes for our other kids we won't have to worry about what to do. read more
