Just got my car back Super happy. Mr. Laszlo was a gentleman from beginning to end. He even came to pick me up, explained how to read my estimate, and advised me for future use. My car looks beautiful and although I hope I'll never need his services again, if it happens, he's the one I'm going to. My car had been repaired about a year ago by another local shop whom I never took the time to research. I went to them out of convenience. What a mistake. They promised me they would make my car look better than new. I had so many problems with them. The body work was done very sloppily. The blue paint was spotty and slightly off in shade. I kept objecting to what they considered a finished job but they couldn't get it right. Soon, tempers flared and I got myself and my car out of there. I'm a single mother and in no position to start a fight with these guys. After a year of getting depressed looking at my poorly repaired car, with it's obviously different shades of blue paint, I finally started researching auto body shops and found Laszlo. I brought my car in, we talked, he showed me some of his work, and explained to me how foolish I had been to go to the other guy without any reviews or recommendations. So, being a sloppy driver, I kept getting involved in quite a few additional collisions and fender-benders. But there is also good news about my experiences. I had to have some body work done to my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee back in February of 2014. Upon someone's high recommendation, I decided to bring it to Laszlo. The resulting work was impeccable and no corners were cut. The dent in the sheet metal was pulled out and hammered back to it's original shape, and he did not do a Bondo job like many body shops do. Recently I was rear ended and I returned my vehicle to Laszlo without hesitation. Once again he did not disappointed. He made sure the insurance company would pay for original factory parts, and not cheap and unsafe after market parts. Lazlo's auto body is the number 1 shop I've ever been to. I've had experiences with at least 10 different auto body shops in Queens and Brooklyn that claim they are the best and least costly. From my experience they are all selling you lies and ripping you off by trying to make as much money as possible by cutting corners and not putting in enough skill and effort to produce a high quality product. Lazlo has been in the auto body business for 46 years and his experience truly shows when he is done with your car. He is very honest and very helpful when it comes to his work. He is also a very kind person who will try to help you save as much as you can without taking any shortcuts. Hey, Laszlo's Auto Body & Collision is a one of the best shops in NYC. Laszlo is great guy, I brang my car in and he helped step by step from calling my insurance company to report a claim. Then helping me with the Car rental while my car was in the shop was a big help and very fast. Theirs a Enterprise and Hertz both located right near the shop. So when you take your car in, you can just walk and pickup a new car. The rear bumper/truck was smashed on my 2015 Altima, He ordered the parts and fixed everything in less than 2 weeks. I've had a great experience at Laszlo's! Mr. Laszlo is very honest, and his highest priority is to provide an excellent finished product, combined with superb customer service. Mr. Laszlo scores very, very high, because he goes way above and far beyond the services and treatment I've experienced at other body shops! I know this is my first review on yelp and I am proud that my first review will be praising Laszlo and his shop. I was there this morning with just some minor nicks and scratches that needed to be taken care of. The body shop that I used to work with before is no longer in business due to illness of the owner and I have finally found a place that will nicely replace it. Lazslo took care of the problem quickly and easily. Other places gave me a headache claiming that the whole bumper needed to be repainted etc.. I want to say working with Laszlo was awesome. My jeep was hit by a tractor trailer while it was parked on the street. I was very upset and didn't have a body shop in mind to go too. As I picked my car rental, they referred me to Laszlo. I will say that was the best decision I made to work with him. Went to get the front bumper and hood of my SUV fixed as it was hit by a truck the end of 2018. Laszlo's body shop did an excellent job on all the body work and the paint matches perfectly. I took my car to work today and my friends couldn't tell it was in an accident. The price could not be beat, the owner is straight forward and a very nice man.
