I keep driving by this coffee shack and saying to myself, "I really need to try that place." We'll, I finally stopped in and was able to enjoy a soy latte at a very reasonable price. The coffee was smooth with a definite coffee flavor (not a warm milk drink). The baristas were efficient and got the drink exactly right. There are two sides to the drive-thru so you won't have to wait long. At peak hours, however, I have seen five or six cars lined up to order so you may have to suffer a few minutes for your favorite brew. They also serve food so you can eat as well as drink here. They have a rewards program, so pick up a rewards card as well. Definitely a new go-to place for coffee.

Consistently good coffee and great service! And super convenient to anyone in in Eagle Ridge or Latah areas. Love this place!

I live in Eagle ridge and this is the only coffee stand that is near me, the coffee is a hit or miss due to the customer service.

I probably wouldn't go to Latah Valley for this place, as cool as the name is.

There is a small space to sit that is primarily within the business, but plenty of room in the shared space if you are looking for a place to extend your visit. I asked the barista some questions and noticed that he was meticulously measuring coffee grounds by weight and tamping with precision. He was very helpful and willing to discuss the possibilities to help me land on my drink of choice. He proceeded to make me the best "dirty chai" I have maybe ever had. The chai is sourced from a small business in Bend. It was a perfectly spiced blend. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. It was so delicious I went back for another the next day. This establishment serves only beverages (as far as I could tell) but they are made with care and skill. Highly recommend.

In…read morethe past two years I have tried several well recommended spokane cafes that were all great, tasty, and slightly more expensive than I would like. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The coffee was strong as it kept me up for a busy day. Retails (Recommend) I didn't get anything but if my luggage had room I probably totally would have. Great range of books and creative thoughtful gifts (bookmarks, candles, and trinkets). CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile. Atticus isn't just a coffee shop but a neighborly space that brings the locals and visitors together. If you're in Spokane and need a place to relax, come through! TIPS: * Take your time and browse the books and gifts, and enjoy the specials!

I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

I got it with oatmilk and it was delicious and perfectly sweet and flavorful! I also grabbed an almond croissant to save and it was good, although I wish there was more almond filling. For our mains we got the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs. They first brought out a smaller chicken and they told us they are going to return with the other piece of chicken and they ended up giving us a whole brand new fried steak which was huge! They didn't have to do that but that was amazing they did that for us. It was also so delicious! Loved the gravy and how crispy it was. My monte cristo sandwich was good, I enjoyed the sweet and savory mix of it and the fresh strawberry jam was delicious. I enjoyed the fries but wish they were a bit more crispy as they were kinda soggy. Overall I had a great experience and the customer service was great, I can't wait to try other menu items.

It's in an unlikely spot- off the highway between Spokane and Cheney, and a grocery store strip mall. Right next to Yokes, but with amazing hills behind it as a back drop. It's one of those places that you can tell is a fun place just by looking at it: courtyard with a fountain and fireplace, white lights outlining the cabin-in-woods type structure. It just makes you want to go inside. Luckily, this book is safe to judge by its cover! It looks equally cool inside. You order at the counter after waiting in a fairly long line. While in line, we were approached by a server who asked our party size and then told us our table number and pointed in the direction it would be. The person who takes your order asks for that number. There was a rack of scrumptious looking bread products behind the counter that was hard to take out eyes off of. Bummer that I'm watching my carbs. I had a delicious Garden Scramble and my wife Eggs Florentine. Also had a great London Fog to drink. We both love red our meal, loved the service and the environment. We even walked up the stairs to check it out the empty part of the seating. We'll be back for sure!
