Cute little coffee shop walking distance from the Davenport Tower. I stopped by for a coffee and grabbed a cheese and sausage bagel. The coffee and bagel were tasty. The staff were friendly and inside was cute. You could work here if you plan to spend a few hours reading or studying here. I would definitely come back! read more

Brews bros is an easy find on the corner of post and sprague. Right now they have fall pumpkin drinks. They also have a huge list of flavors to add to your coffee. The ambiance was chill and I hung out for a minute to figure out my next spot. The girls were so nice and gave some examples of their favorite drinks. read more

Love the play on words for this coffee house located near the historic Davenport Hotel & Spa in downtown Spokane. The cozy interior and cheerful barista welcomed us as we escaped the 42 degree weather. With so many choices on the menu, my friend went with her trusty Americano while I chose from the Halloween/Fall menu board . Our orders were made pronto and before I knew it I was staring at the cute logo cup with the pink lid which was hand delivered to me, how's that for terrific service? The aromas of peppermint and mocha wafted from the cup, and the first sip was smooth and mellow. I loved that it was hot but not burning off my tongue! Since I don't usually drink coffee, the effects of a single espresso shot definitely woke me up! The drink typically has two shots but the barista was kind enough to let me go with just one. Prices were a little more than Starbucks, said my friend, the coffee connoisseur. But it was well worth it for the rich smooth good flavor! Check em out! read more

Brews Bros Espresso Lounge is conveniently located a block away from my hotel. The coffee shop is very cozy and inviting. Cashier was also super friendly and enthusiastic even at 7 am in the morning. I ordered a 12 oz. latte and got a blueberry bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. The latte was really good - strong and smooth. It did its job and kept me wide awake throughout the first half of the work day. I actually also felt slightly jittery lol. The blueberry bagel was pretty average (tasted very similar to the Sara Lee ones from the market) and I got a tube of Philadelphia cream cheese with it. Overall, I really liked my experience at Brews Bros and the latte I ordered was solid in terms of quality and flavor. As for pastries, I should try the ones that they actually bake in-house. read more

This is such a cute cafe with friendly staff. They had a summer menu and the drinks are so unique. I noticed a root beer espresso, and vanilla cream drink that sounded terrible but I trusted my barista's suggestion. I am so glad I took a chance and it is one of the best espresso drinks I have ever had. The drink was on the sweeter side but not overly sweet. Somehow the creaminess, caffeine, and carbonation was a happy refreshing melody. I also got the maple bacon doughnut and maple scone which were decent but definitely mediocre. Both pastries were on the dry side despite me being there at 6:30 AM. Which means it's probably just dry to begin with. read more

Everyone was friendly, but I'm really not pleased with their policy of refusing to serve ice water to customers. I bought a yogurt parfait, a banana, and an iced coffee for my husband and asked for an ice water for myself. They offered me a bottled water; I said I'd prefer a cup with ice. They flat out refused, saying their ice machine is struggling. Right after this, they handed my husband his iced coffee, with ice. I understand if you don't give out cups of ice for free. Go ahead and charge me! But to completely refuse to provide one?! Not to mention I just bought an $8 tiny yogurt parfait. I guess this is the first time I'll pull the pregnancy card--I'm 7 months pregnant, it's 110 degrees outside, I can't have an iced coffee, and I'd like an iced beverage with my breakfast. This isn't a good look for your business. read more

On a morning walk from the hotel, checked this place out for coffee and a snack. There was only one other person in the shop, very disheveled and seemed out of it, but the barista was nice and respectful to him. She made eye contact with me as to let me know that he is acting a little off. It doesn't bother me, I work with people who need a little help. When I got to the counter , I asked if he bothered her and if she was ok. she helped me with suggestions as I had never been there. Told her my mother wanted "a coffee with some mocha coffee mate" haha. She whipped something up similar. I just had a drip coffee. Both were very tasty. The barista was very friendly, even talked about how we we both in college and where we were from. I doubt I'd be back in Spokane anytime soon, but I'd recommend this place to anyone. If you are hungry, don't come here. If you are thirty, come on in! I really wanted to support a local coffee shop so decided to try this place while in town for work. Plus, it was right across from the Historic Davenport Hotel where I was staying (which has a Starbucks). Unfortunately, I thought I could grab a snack here to tie me over through a meeting. They have some food options but nothing seems fresh or made in-house. They had a soup, but when we asked the worker what it was she didn't know. She literally said, "I'm not sure, let me smell it..." and then she proceed to sniff it and still wasn't sure. She then lifted up a spoonful to show us & it sort of looked like split pea so we suggested it may be that and she agreed. Whaaaattt?! My coworker was desperate and got it anyway and it ended up not even being split pea (haha) and was pretty bad. I wasn't as brave and got a scone but it was a pretty disappointing scone that was more like a muffin. That all said, the lattes we got were decent. If I stop by here again, I'd stick to the lattes and coffee and I suggest you do the same unless they change it up. read more

The shop was welcoming and a convenient location for our downtown stay but apparently you need to ask for " no foam " on your latte because my 20 ounce latte was 2/3 foam . Returned to our hotel room and had to add more coffee to have enough to drink. Very sad . read more

Overall, my experience was good. The food was good, the coffee was excellent. My only real complaint was the wait time. They're a very popular shop and they were super friendly. However, it seemed like the 2 girls working there had a hard time keeping up with the volume. They did it with a smile and they certainly made sure every customer was taken care of. However, I'm sure sure they would love to have an extra set of hands. Having said all that, I am looking forward to going back on my next Spokane trip. read more

Great downtown coffee shop opens at 530 am, the place can get busy. This place has a nice relaxing city vibe, I usually get the house drip and a hot breakfast sandwich. They have several other menu items like bagels, burritos and even cookies. Plenty of seating and it is conveniently located in the middle of working downtown, for those of us travel this is a great place to check out. read more

I come in here a couple of times a week during my work break and usually order whatever the special is. Consistently good coffee and their desserts are great too. Drink selection is just right and the quality is outstanding. I travel for work and seek out coffee shops to work from between appointments. The drinks are great and the service is AMAZING. I don't mind chain coffee shops, but support local and small business owners when I can. This shop is small business operation at it's finest. When someone has a passion for what they do, it shows in the quality of their work. I'll be back every time I'm in town. read more

Just what I expected. A solid, typical coffee house. I only buy a double pull espresso or a small coffee with 2 shots in a to go cup so it stays hot longer. My goal is to pay for a place to sit, read, study, reflect and have something bitter to sip on. The bitterness is critical which is why I don't corrupt the experience with lattes or sweet drinks. This would be my place if I ever come back to Spokane. Not big and since it is located next to the bus station, it is busy. So if you don't mind the heavy white noise from all the folks riding buses, or if you like to passively people watch, it's just right. It's what I expected and the staff seem to want to be there and make you want to be there as well. A four because it is just what I expected. Thank you. read more

Similar to the ordering experience, once our coffees were ready, we got no greeting or thank you or anything once they called our names to retrieve them. It was like we were bothering them by purchasing their overpriced offerings. Don't support business like this when there are others who at least *act* like they appreciate a customer.

So if you're walking from somewhere else this place is great, if you're driving in to meet for coffee it's a little bit annoying, if you just want to stop in and get something to go, it's going to be a big hassle. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was.
