If you want to be entertained, they hit the spot. Card tricks, pulling strings with the blade from the tung, making items disappear in front of your very eyes, they are amazing. Lefty, Tasha, Slasher, Bountifier, you guys are amazing. I enjoyed your performance

Late Night Magic at the Pegasus Showroom at Alexis Park Resort. 10/30/2022

After my husband and I went to Fly Over Vegas and Tournament of Kings last night, we figured that we already spent the money on gas driving to the Strip so we might as well try to squeeze in one more show. We went to the 11 PM show on Saturday night yesterday, 10/30/2022. Late Night Magic is hosted by "Lefty" who we saw perform as a guest at Murray the magician's show at the Tropicana a month or so ago. VENUE We ended up at Late Night Magic at Alexis Park Resort across the street from Virgin Casino. I've never been to this hotel but we figured we'd give it a try. The show is in a cabaret showroom about the size of Bally's Magic Attic. Like the magic attic, they unfortunately don't allow photos or videos and will remove people for taking pics during the show. I don't know if the three couples I saw leave were asked to leave because of this or they left on their own accord. I hate when places don't allow even photos because how else do I help spread the word on social media? PERFORMERS The show we attended had four performers: Lefty, John Shaw of Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum, Mondre, and guest talent Uber. Lefty is the host and does card tricks. I've seen a couple other magicians do the same tricks, such as Mike Hammer and Mat Franco. There was a lot of flipping people off during his time on stage which to me is just *shrugs* not a punchline. John Shaw is a Satanism consultant for Ghost Adventures Sideshow, so if you're going to be offended by his tattoos of the Leviathan Cross on his throat or the sigil of Baphomet on his jacket, probably sit this show out. His act is actually a freak show act. He does fire breathing, hanging stuff from his eyes, putting a drill bit in his nose and even swallowing a four foot balloon. He did some cool magic tricks turning roses to confetti too. I'm guessing the regular two magicians were gone because they introduced Uber (Ooh-Bear) the Italian acrobatic something-or-rather to the stage. He did a comedy set that was mostly sex jokes. It was a bit weird because some people have filler phrases such as "you know what I'm saying" or "ummm okay now" but Uber's filler phrase was "God bless you." He probably said "God bless you" 50x during his set that again, was just sex jokes. He only did two acrobatic things - doing a headstand on a basketball and making his neck look really long then short then long again. He also shot a party popper out of his fly. Lastly was Mondre the Magician who looked like he was impersonating Prince. He didn't talk and strictly did magic tricks. Over the course of his set he pulled a bowling ball, 5 real doves and (an also real) giant (very angry) Persian cat out of who knows where. That was pretty cool. My husband got a $14 pumpkin pie martini and I got a $9 raspberry kiss cocktail. Those prices are great for a show in Vegas. Overall I have to judge this based on comparable priced shows. It's fine for adults and the drinks are a great value. John Shaw and Mondre's acts were the two really interesting acts. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because the standup portion where it's just the same sex jokes you hear everywhere and flipping people off is boring. Again, it doesn't offend me, it bores me.

Super funny and very entertaining! For adults only since the jokes are 18+ My first show in Vegas and I was not disappointed. Magical!

Shocker, BIZARRO, Ubar, & Lefty the late night magic crew!!!

Oh boy! These guys were hilarious. If you're coming to Las Vegas to visit or if you're a local, I recommend watching these guys perform. The MC Lefty had my side hurting from laughing so much. BIZARRO was animated and fun. They had this cringy (in a good way), luchador named the shocker, and his energy was infections. I think the 4th guy was a guest, Ubar, but he was for fun. "I like him!" #iykyk Whether you're staying at the Orleans hotel and casino or not, you have to check out Late Night Magic!!!

The talented cast, what a great group.

What a fun show. Professional and intimate. The cast are so talented seamlessly combining Magic and Comedy. Appreciated the tasteful inclusion of the audience and obvious connection that the talented cast have with each other. Most certainly recommend and look forward to bring friends to this great show. Catch them while you can in this intimate setting this group certainly should be moving to a bigger stage.

You spend half the time laughing and the other half quietly hoping you do not make eye contact. Somehow, they walk that perfect line where it is edgy without being awkward. The side acts are insane. Like, how is this even physically possible level talent. Every time you think it cannot get crazier, it does. It is part circus, part comedy show, part did I just witness that moment. And the Gazillionaire is the perfect ringmaster for it all, completely unhinged in the most controlled way possible. He keeps everything moving, keeps the crowd on edge, and somehow makes chaos feel like it is exactly on schedule. Going with a close friend made it even better. There is something about sharing those did that really just happen looks the whole night that makes it stick. If you are in Vegas and want something that is actually memorable and not just expensive for no reason, this is it. Easily one of the best shows on the Strip.

The performances have flashes. The cast brings confidence. Bodies moving like the room owes them applause. When the show gets physical it feels more alive. Acrobatics. Timing. Stage presence. Those parts carry more reputation than the comedy. The humor feels like the friend who keeps telling the same wild story louder because nobody laughed the first time. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it just sits there. Service is simple. Drinks came through. No drama. The flow felt easy enough. Staff kept the night moving without making it a whole thing. Went to 3rd floor bar, lots of employees visible and quite a few customers playing the arcade racing games. Just a few customers eating. Took a while after I approached the bar and looked at the menus for an employee to greet me. The locals deal is half off most of the menu and drinks except specialty cocktails. I had a glass of prosecco, 6 taco flight and mini doughnuts. Tacos were barely warm. I don't know how a not busy kitchen can't serve the food hot. After I started eating them I noticed 1 or 2 ingredients were missing from each. The birria was most noticeably missing the BBQ sauce/aioli. The Tandoori chicken tacos were ok but needed the missing pickles/pickled onions, same with the mushroom tacos. There was plenty of meat and mushrooms on the tacos for the regular price of $22. I noticed Al Mancini, a local food reviewer was there. I guess they were only concerned about his food. I did tell one of the servers at the bar about the missing ingredients. The mini doughnuts were ok. When I first got the bill it was wrong (extra item added). On the second bill the tacos were taken off. I appreciated that but hadn't asked. I told the server to thank the manager. Perhaps the next meal will be better, it's unlikely I'll return tho. It may be worth it to go for food with the half price deal, if you're at Caesars and need to eat.

I did my due diligence and researched whether or not photography was ok. https://www.cirquedusoleil.com/usa/las-vegas/o/buy-tickets The website stated that pocket sized cameras and cellphones were ok. Upon arrival, I double checked with the staff, "IS CELLPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY DURING THE SHOW OK?" Both staff said "Yes, just no video and no flash." Tell me why both of these staffs were the ones going around telling people to put their devices away during the show even though many people were only taking pictures? :| (I will say, once I saw they started picking on people about photography at the very beginning, I didn't bother trying to take pics myself - so yay didn't get publicly shamed LMAO) The show itself was incredible but the staff and their terrible communication and then shining their lights and calling out guests for taking photos was most definitely not nice in any way. I think it's ridiculous to say "We encourage photos" on the website and then have their staff go and pick on rule following show attendees. Organizers need to make up their minds on the photo policy and train their staff accordingly.

After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Absinthe's poster really gives you a better idea of what you are going to see, whereas Atomic Saloon's poster looks more akin to a unisex Thunder Down Under when it's really more R-rated Hee Haw. The loose story involves a brothel and a host of characters that interact with the facility and its matriarch but the comedy is really where it's at. From the Irish dancers with questionable teeth (when the bread started flying I could not stop laughing!) to the various aerial feats displayed, Atomic Saloon has a little bit of everything though it's not for the faint of heart--several people in our section left a few minutes into the show. As much fun as we had, the seats on the second floor are not great and you end up missing some of the action. Even more disappointing was that there were quite a few empty seats on the main level, and it would have made for an even better show if we had been given the opportunity to move forward like we did at OPM, another Spiegelworld show that used to run at Cosmopolitan.
