We really enjoyed Late Night Magic. All the magicians at The Magician's Room were talented, and the performances were fun, surprising, and very interactive. David Goldrake was a surprise guest, which made the night even more special. We had seen his show before, so it was great to see him as part of Late Night Magic. Ended up seeing this show twice while visiting Vegas due to a technical issue on night one. This is a very entertaining show, but lacks the "magic" I was seeking. The first night we saw this show, we got through a bit less than half of the show before the fire alarm for the entire Linq Promenade went off, which disabled the entire AV system. The cast tried their best to go on but ultimately only did a few more acts before ending the show early. While I realize this incident wasn't their fault, it was a disappointment, and I feel that the right thing to do would have been to offer a refund. Instead, they offered for us to return the next night and see the show again at no cost. The second night, we did get to see the whole show. The acts are much better with AV working! I can say with confidence that this show is the same each night, so once you've seen the show, no point in coming back. You won't get a different experience. While some of the acts were very clever with quite a few incredible metalism tricks, most of this show is more of a comedy act. There isn't a whole lot of legit "magic" that you might expect. Overall, this is a good show with some memorable acts, and it's priced fairly. Worth checking out as a spur-of-the-moment option, but if you're looking for a five-star magic show in Vegas, I think you can keep looking. read more

There are one host and three performers now at the Magicians Room located on the Linq promenade between Virgil's real BBQ and O'Sheas. The front is a claw machine store, you will go to the second floor by the elevator or stairs. It's a rather intimate show room with a bar (speakeasy). Bizarro is our fav. Since it's a late night show, so not really kids friendly. The only female magician is more like a mi d-reader kinda performance, very similar to Collin Cloud inside Harrah's. read more

This late night show is worth the price of admission. The MC was Lefty. I saw him a few years ago when he was in Murray, the magician's act at Tropicana. He is even better now with his outstanding card tricks and sense of humor. The other three performers were also entertaining, which made for a fun time. read more

We've seen Copperfield and others, but this show was far better. AAA+++ close up magic. I will return again. Choosing this show is a no brainer, and is very budget friendly as well. After my husband and I went to Fly Over Vegas and Tournament of Kings last night, we figured that we already spent the money on gas driving to the Strip so we might as well try to squeeze in one more show. We went to the 11 PM show on Saturday night yesterday, 10/30/2022. Late Night Magic is hosted by "Lefty" who we saw perform as a guest at Murray the magician's show at the Tropicana a month or so ago. VENUE We ended up at Late Night Magic at Alexis Park Resort across the street from Virgin Casino. I've never been to this hotel but we figured we'd give it a try. The show is in a cabaret showroom about the size of Bally's Magic Attic. Like the magic attic, they unfortunately don't allow photos or videos and will remove people for taking pics during the show. I don't know if the three couples I saw leave were asked to leave because of this or they left on their own accord. I hate when places don't allow even photos because how else do I help spread the word on social media? PERFORMERS The show we attended had four performers: Lefty, John Shaw of Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum, Mondre, and guest talent Uber. Lefty is the host and does card tricks. I've seen a couple other magicians do the same tricks, such as Mike Hammer and Mat Franco. There was a lot of flipping people off during his time on stage which to me is just *shrugs* not a punchline. John Shaw is a Satanism consultant for Ghost Adventures Sideshow, so if you're going to be offended by his tattoos of the Leviathan Cross on his throat or the sigil of Baphomet on his jacket, probably sit this show out. His act is actually a freak show act. He does fire breathing, hanging stuff from his eyes, putting a drill bit in his nose and even swallowing a four foot balloon. He did some cool magic tricks turning roses to confetti too. I'm guessing the regular two magicians were gone because they introduced Uber (Ooh-Bear) the Italian acrobatic something-or-rather to the stage. He did a comedy set that was mostly sex jokes. It was a bit weird because some people have filler phrases such as "you know what I'm saying" or "ummm okay now" but Uber's filler phrase was "God bless you." He probably said "God bless you" 50x during his set that again, was just sex jokes. He only did two acrobatic things - doing a headstand on a basketball and making his neck look really long then short then long again. He also shot a party popper out of his fly. Lastly was Mondre the Magician who looked like he was impersonating Prince. He didn't talk and strictly did magic tricks. Over the course of his set he pulled a bowling ball, 5 real doves and (an also real) giant (very angry) Persian cat out of who knows where. That was pretty cool. My husband got a $14 pumpkin pie martini and I got a $9 raspberry kiss cocktail. Those prices are great for a show in Vegas. Overall I have to judge this based on comparable priced shows. It's fine for adults and the drinks are a great value. John Shaw and Mondre's acts were the two really interesting acts. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because the standup portion where it's just the same sex jokes you hear everywhere and flipping people off is boring. Oh boy! These guys were hilarious. If you're coming to Las Vegas to visit or if you're a local, I recommend watching these guys perform. The MC Lefty had my side hurting from laughing so much. BIZARRO was animated and fun. They had this cringy (in a good way), luchador named the shocker, and his energy was infections. I think the 4th guy was a guest, Ubar, but he was for fun. Wasn't sure what to expect when I got tickets to this show, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a lot of fun. It's a 18+ magic/comedy show with some rotating regulars and sometimes guests. The night we went it was 4 of the 5 performers on the show poster. Intimate feel to the room, perhaps 100-ish seats. We went on a weeknight so the crowd was small. I got called on for help on part of a trick and was pretty impressed. I'm really not sure how he did it. The comedy can get a bit raunchy. If you're offended by getting flipped off or something like a dildo being used as part of a joke this show is probably not for you. But this is Vegas, if that's gonna offend you, maybe it's not the right city for you in general. This show is now in the Orleans, it used to be in Alexis Park resort. read more

Loved this show. Diverse Comedy/Magic show. The Magic is great. The comedy is great. True Entertainers through and through. They each have their own style and personality. They've all been on various TV shows and/or part of other magic shows. It's definitely an adult show. Adult humor. Crass and crude in the best way. Small up close venue. The bartenders pour good drinks, one of the cheapest drinks in Vegas, while also being the stiffest. I highly recommend this show for anyone looking to laugh and who enjoys magic. read more

I've been waiting to check out the show at their new venue, at the Orleans, to see if it was as good as I remember, before I brought friends. I'm very happy to say, it's even better than I remembered. The show is a mix of naughty but good-natured humor and fun, cool illusions. They have a growing roster of unique magicians, no two are alike in what they do or how they do it. I sat in the front row, this time, but I've also sat in the back (for Adam London's Laughternoon, a wonderful show for all ages). I can honestly say, there are no bad seats in the place. Despite being nearly two hours, that night, the show moved along at a brisk pace. They had the audience laughing and cheering, all throughout. I can't wait to bring my friends.
