I also got a coffee, which was very good. Overall, I had a great experience there and highly recommend it. They sell their own cups, so you can get a discounted refill of coffee or any of their teas, which is nice. So if you're ever in downtown Garland, definitely check them out.

The new owner is courteous, but the inviting energy is gone. The food is still good, but I deeply miss the quiche--crafted with love and skill by the previous pastry chef. It was a standout and irreplaceable. Bread is made more often now, which is nice in theory, but consistency has slipped. My last loaf was disappointingly hard around the edges.
