I stopped here for lunch on a drive from Dallas to Shreveport. While the meal was fine for what it was, the lack of basic cleanliness and professional standards was a dealbreaker. The Environment: The moment I walked in, I was hit with a heavy, damp smell, like an old, moldy basement or a sour mop. The table and the ordering kiosk were physically humid and sticky to the touch; I honestly didn't even want to put my hands on them and I think the waiter sensed it too so he removed the kiosk off the table. This lack of deep cleaning likely explains the fly problem. I was seated near the kitchen and spent the entire meal swatting away a swarm. Even while I was placing my order with the waiter, I was actively waving flies away from my face. The waiter saw this happen and didn't acknowledge it. I spent the rest of the meal eating with one hand while guarding my plate with the other. The Service: My waiter was attentive and technically did a good job with the service mechanics. However, he worked the entire time with BOTH earbuds in. It is incredibly unprofessional to have a server stand in front of a guest while they couldn't even be bothered to take off their earphones. Additionally, the hosts were huddled at the front gossiping and chattering when I first walked in. The Food: The food was up to standard for Olive Garden, no mistakes there. But good food isn't enough to justify a sticky, moldy smelling dining room. Verdict: Keep driving. There are better, cleaner options on this route. And I won't be back to this location. read more

We've lived in the area for around two years & we've given this spot multiple tries. As a family, we've probably eaten here 6-7 times. The food is actually pretty good and consistent. I'd give it 3.5 stars. We've only ever had one issue with the food. But the service....its TERRIBLE. Every single time. Like less than 1 star terrible. Tonight we went in (for the last time) and it took 15 minutes to get our drink order. Our "section" had four tables, but two waitresses working the section. They were t busy. It wasn't packed. It was just really bad, really SLOW, really inattentive service. Some examples: I ordered the Unlimited Soup & Salad. We were there for an hour and 15-20 minutes before I could get a second bowl of soup. Then, the manager came by our table & asked how everything was, but never even slowed down walking to hear our response. The final straw for me was the manager coming to our table and asking if we wanted more salad. At this point we'd been there over an hour and we said "No, but we'll take more breadsticks." He proceeded to walk off, bring us a huge bowl of salad back, and when we told him we didn't ask for salad but breadsticks we never saw him or a waitress again. After another 10 minutes we just paid on the kiosk and left. Seems like it's a culture of terrible service at this specific location. read more

We are at the Olive Garden in Terrell, TX. We are here now, and I just gotta review now. My wife has dairy and shellfish allergies. Our server, Jacob, has been the most professional server we have ever experienced. What he doesn't know, he finds out and promptly reports back. If y'all do training, I would put Jacob in charge of how to handle customers with allergies. It was so refreshing and my wife felt so comfortable eating here with zero worrying about anything having milk. When Jacob brought the salad, he said "All of the salad has all freshly opened ingredients, so there is no chance of cross-contamination" Wow! How awesome! In the past (at other restaurants), my wife would ask a server if an item had dairy, and they would say "I don't know" and stand there like a cow looking at a new gate, with my wife prompting them to go read ingredients and find out! Yup, having Jacob as our server was a great experience. He needs to be a trainer. read more

I really like Olive Garden, and have never had an issue until I moved and started coming here. During my first visit, after asking for bread, the bread came hard, with no butter/garlic on top. It tasted like pretzel bread. The girl that was helping us tried a second time by bringing another set and I just couldn't eat it and had to spit it out. She then said that they forgot to make it the right away and proceeded to bring another round of bread, with garlic on top. Still, not the Olive Garden breadsticks. But oh well, I gave up. Then, the salad had brown pieces. I only ate a little bit. She was very nice and tried to make our evening better. Then, we proceeded to go back this week, we asked to be placed with her and were not. Our server seemed lost or new, and took a long time to get our orders. Salad and breads took a long time and then the drinks, because the other lady came and helped. Then, the issue with my pasta, who was not cooked accordingly, and the sauce was just like a plain Alfredo, when it was a totally different entree. At that point, a manager and cook started coming to the table asking questions, to which point they told me they would remake it. After the brought it, this time, it tasted as it needed to be, but I was already tired and ready to go. My family had already eaten. I'm rooting for this location. I want it to be consistent, but please, get it together. We would like to come here and not have to receive something that's not cooked or done right every time. read more

Newer property located at a large regional lifestyle center including a wide assortment of major retail brands, eateries and movie theater. The staff at Olive Garden were pleasant and helpful. The lunchtime value is pretty good considering the number of popular entrees that are included. I've become a quick fan of the fried shrimp & pepper's appetizer! I love the attention to details with respect to decor and interior design. A good mix of modern and traditional. Feels more upscale than other chain restaurants without the white table cloth vibe. Poor Service and Disorganization - Party of 7 on 10/26/2025 I called ahead at 12:30 PM for a party of 7, fully understanding that this was not a reservation but a call-ahead waitlist. We arrived at 1:00 PM, as planned, and waited 45 minutes without being seated. During that time, multiple parties of 4 and 6 who arrived after us were seated first. It was frustrating to see the seating process handled so poorly--two 4-top tables could have easily been combined for our party, especially since we had been on the list long before several others who were seated. I even received a text saying I had been removed from the waitlist, and when I asked about it, the hostess said the system automatically does that after a certain amount of time--likely because we should have already been seated by then. The host staff were dismissive and unhelpful, unable to provide an accurate wait time and even laughing about the situation. I overheard them acknowledge that they hadn't been seating guests correctly. At no point did anyone apologize; instead, we were offered a 6-top table for our group of 7. After waiting nearly an hour total, we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse--where we were seated within minutes. To make matters worse, I overheard staff say they seated a "regular" in a large table that could have accommodated another big party. That decision might have pleased one guest but cost you far more in lost business. I'm a regular customer myself--my coworkers and I often dine here during lunch hours--but after this experience, especially on a special 17th birthday, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback to train the host team on organization, professionalism, and basic courtesy. A little humility and communication can go a long way. I usually love eating here but we had so many issues this time. Didn't get our drinks for a while, even our soups and salads and appetizers came out before. Then our drinks were wrong, along with that we get an Alfredo boat and there's a big chunk of what seems to be a paper towel or something in it. Gross . Haven't been to an Olive Garden in 6 years but I was craving the breadsticks and salad so decided to return. Quick snapshot of the review, food was great, service was disappointing. Like I said I mainly came for the breadsticks and salad which who doesn't?? They are supposed to have unlimited breadsticks, soup and salad but they were being stingy about it! The server would only bring us two breadsticks at at time like come on load me up I don't want to keep asking for it! We also weren't given much salad which I thought was because it was only two of us but then I saw a table next to us with two people that had a full bowl and a single eater also with a full bowl. The server didn't even ask if we wanted more salad. The salad was good but they also skimped on the toppings this time as you can tell from the photo it was basically lettuce. Do I even have to review the breadsticks?? We all know they are heavenly. My boyfriend got the Fettuccine Alfredo which he is normally picky about but he loved it and so did I! Definitely recommend dipping the breadsticks in the Alfredo sauce its a chefs kiss. I got the chicken parmigiana which don't get me wrong it was very good but my one complaint was it didn't have enough pasta. They give you two large pieces of chicken and only a tiny bit of pasta?? Was only enough o go with one piece of chicken. More about the service. Our waitress was not very friendly, she wasn't rude but she was not as friendly as the server the table next to us got. She barely came around to check on us and we had to keep asking for things like silverware, breadsticks, cheese to top off the meals and water. Kept having our waters empty because she barely came around and I never even got a knife to cut my chicken. We love Italian food, so of course we love Olive Garden. Yes, it's a chain, but one of the best. The "All you can eat soup & salad" is our favorite for lunch when we're out shopping or running errands. My Spousal Unit is always ready for Olive Garden, especially if I remind her that they have Terramizu. We've never had a bad meal there, and overall the service has been pretty good. Of course sometimes it can be a bit slow, especially if the place is packed, but most of the time we just roll with it. Would I recommend Olive Garden? You bet! We love the one in Terrell, but then again, I can't remember ever having a bad experience at any of the ones we've visited. Their food is great, plenty of choices, with kid friendly menus as well. read more

This place is not too bad and located in Terrell Texas. I did not realize this place gets busy at dinner as we did had to wait 30 minutes, but they text you to see when the table is busy. Beware if you have children and if you want to play the games, yeah it just cost $1.99 to play the games, but if your kid starts to play well then they can charge you. The waiter took our order. The cool part is you get unlimited soup and salad with your meal which was nice. I ended up eating 2 bowls of salad. For the raspberry lemonade, I wish I had more as you have to ask for more and the waiter does not come by quickly. I ordered the build your own pasta, with white creamy mushroom sauce and Italian sausage. If you do not like butter, do not get the sauce as the calories are a lot and it is loaded with butter. They under pour their drinks at this Olive Garden. This picture is exactly how the drink came out. I asked the waitress about it after multiple drinks under poured and she said, "it's the recipe". Three different drinks came out under poured like this one. Any other Olive Garden fills the glass to the rim... Maybe the bartenders don't know how to use jiggers at this restaurant. Aside from the under poured drinks the service was horrible. We ordered unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. The unlimited soup/salad/bread sticks order didn't come out until well after we finished an appetizer trio awkwardly staring at each other wondering why breadsticks, salad, or soup never came out. We were never offered more soup after finishing our bowl. The salad was ordered special with no onions and the waitress brought it out wrong two times. It was unclear who our server was because different people would randomly show up when we ordered mixed drinks on the computer... no one showed up otherwise. I ordered a drink, which first came with a booger a little too close for comfort, aka on my cup entirely. Secondly, after ordering a salad, we noticed something a little strange on the lettuce.
