I parked there for an hour while eating at a restaurant and came back to a $88 ticket. I then realized the lot was only for two of the restaurants across the street. I paid for parking to continue to park there for another hour while I went to a coffee shop. Came back and left. Then, got a text saying I was still being charged because you have to manually end the timer. Paid for over 7 hours. Ended up paying over $100 to park when I was led to believe the parking was free. I had a friend meet me for lunch (who parked at a completely separate time than me) and was misled the same exact way. She also got a ticket. We were both very upset by the way this parking lot is misleading. Total scam. Very upset.

The Metropolitan Parking Garage is for the Metropolitan Condo and Business owners, but those nice…read morepeople decided to build around 100 extra parking spaces that are "well loved". If you are lucky you can find a spot, but be careful, don't park in a reserved spot or you will get towed. Their kindness goes only so far and we appreciate it. With it being located above Chicago Pizza, and across the street from The Ritz, it is a perfect location to walk to everything! So go ahead, turn in and take your chances, it can't hurt!

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. Coffee, bars, desserts, and other sweets. Healthy eats, shopping, and the beach. You'll have easy access to so many options. The biggest challenge is deciding where to go. The second is the parking. There are paid spots across several blocks, and some restaurants have valet. Definitely one of my most favorite areas.

I'll be frank (or Carla), it's been a while since I've been to the beach in this area. Truth be told it used to be my favorite place to go to the beach. Anyway, another story for another time. We started to look for street parking, which was packed to the gills and ended up at this parking lot. It seems like this area is pretty much either pay to park by the hour or valet. Either way, not a fan. It used to be free, and I get times change, but it doesn't make me any less happy about having to pay to park, especially to walk around town. This parking lot was pretty empty. There was a machine where you can pay for up to two hours of parking, use your credit card, and put a ticket in your car. It's literally a block from the beach and bars and restaurants, so def in a good location. Pros: -Clean parking lot -Hourly rate is reasonable Cons: -Having to pay for parking Tips: If you don't want to search for street parking, head over to this lot.

My other half works adjacent to this plaza- so I am actually here more often than other shopping centers out at the beach. Another Broken Egg is one of our go to's for the rare Sunday's that John has to work- today was one of those days. I have enjoyed shopping at Home Goods, Marshall's and I am looking forward Whole Foods opening in the near future. John has shopped at the Office Depot and PetSmart. Panera Bread is at the front of the parking lot too. This shopping center has some quality stores and restaurants & with the facelift, it is definitely a shopping stop.

The kid working the valet post could not drive a stick after confirming he could . I met my wife…read morefor dinner and she drove her Toyota mr2 from work . After dinner the valet pulled her car up , she gave him a $5 tip. He didn't say a word and look very flustered . When she drove off the car would barely go in gear . It was almost to the point we needed a tow truck but she managed to get it home . $ 1400 in repair later the Toyota dealership said they stripped the shift cable .

Sawgrass Village is the local shopping center for the Ponte Vedra area, but it's not exactly a…read moredestination like St. Johns Town Center. It is dotted with locally owned shops & boutiques and a few big anchors like Publix and CVS. It starting a redevelopment project in 2013 and I like the idea of where it's trying to go. I've had jewelry repairs done at Village Jeweler. I've eaten breakfast at Elizabeth's. And I've gotten a couple of manicures at Sawgrass Nails. It's got a variety of shops, but it definitely could use some fresh places. I just hope they can refill the shops and give me options to support locally in my own neighborhood rather than having to - goodness forbid - cross the ditch! Even a quick service chain like Panera would be nice for this end of the beach; I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.
