I called yesterday to inquire and verify that I had met…read moremy deductible and when I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist handed me a cost breakdown which was the same breakdown from months ago, the billing coordinator had not done her job by updating my information. I did my part with my insurance company but she failed to do her job by updating and when I brought it to her attention she totally disregarded my feelings and proceeded to tell me an amount that was in fact wrong because my insurance company verified that my deductible was met so no out of cost was needed. I would have been okay with her mistake if she weren't sooooooooo RUDE! I never got to meet the doctors because I was so disgusted with the poor customer service. She needs to be replaced immediately. _______________________________________________________________________ Ok, this is day #2, and I must admit I am very impressed. The office administrator called me immediately to discuss what happened and I honored that she would do so. I appreciated the fact that she fought hard to make things rights. I tend to be long winded at times and I wasn't rushed or cutoff, they listened and heard me while I spoke, which I appreciated. This visit was for my seven year old, so they ensured that all they found, I could see for myself and understood what it all meant. Answered our questions on-site and then gave us time to process the information. . Is that not what we all want in a provider! Again, only our first visit but it was amazing. So now, we have a procedure coming and we'll see how that goes, however, I'm not concerned. Dr. Tahari and hos team seem to have it together. Of note, be prepared to pay for your portion of the visit BEFORE you leave the office. I'm not a huge fan of this practice. I'm of the belief, if you have insurance, the billing should first be sent through the insurance and then send a bill to me for my portion once the insurance advises what my portion is. We came in to have our hearing tested, and I had a question about a long-term problem with pressure in my left inner ear. We were impressed by the thorough way Dr. Shepard and Rachel, the wonderful (PhD) Audiologist, conducted our exams and explained our results. Everyone was professional, thorough and genuinely friendly. All of our questions answered (in depth) and we even had a couple of good laughs along the way, and I'll never have to worry about my inner ear again!. Contacted Aspire three times, the specialty phamracy Capsule, who makes the spray three times, and BCBS two times. BCBS informed me that Aspire never put the paperwork in for the spray. The takeaway here is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited 11 days for medicine and for an update and never received a call back. I called them today and cancelled future treatment. I would not recommend Aspire. I will seek a smaller practice for treatment vs. the big franchise that offers no follow up or follow thru and overall poor customer service.

I appreciate that Dr. Fyfe tries to avoid surgery, if possible. But, if you do end up needing…read moresurgery, I recommend getting a second opinion before you move forward with surgery. Dr. Fyfe performed my surgery in March (balloon sinuplasty and "roto rooter" holes). The surgery required general anesthesia, and recovery from the "roto rooter" was long and painful. After recovery, I felt great for about 6 weeks. Then, in May I got a sinus infection and took antibiotics. In June I got another sinus infection, another follow up, and more antibiotics. In July...another sinus infection. After that, I sought another opinion, and found that there are more modern and effective procedures that do not require cutting holes (the "roto rooter") and do not require general anesthesia. I had another procedure done last week to fix my sinuses (the holes Dr. Fyfe made weren't draining properly) and it has been a much easier recovery so far. Only twilight sedation was needed, and it was done in-office instead of in a surgery center. I feel more confident now that my infected days are over, but I wish I would have gotten a second opinion before surgery with Dr. Fyfe so that I could have avoided the permanent and unnecessary holes in my sinuses.

I waited 45…read moreminutes for the doctor, it took her all of 3 minutes to look at me, and I was charged $1200. $600 just for the privilege of walking into the office and another $600 for the 3 minute exam which she charged as an endoscopy and wasn't. They charge exorbitant amounts just so the insurance company can tell them what the max amount allowed is so they can get the most they can. It's sad that we go to these people for help and they take advantage of us. I will never go back here. My issue wasn't even fixed. Going to a doctor that actually cares.

He returned them two and a half months ago. Our insurance company had paid half of the cost of these hearing aids and the money has still not been returned to them. We have called this New Sound office many times and have been told that they cannot give us the phone number for the billing department. Today, they said they do not know who their manager for this location is and do not know how we can get in touch with anyone about the problem. Amazing! The Attorney General's Office will be the next one we contact to complain, and also the Better Business Bureau.
