We all loved the interactive games and had a great time. We literally didn't want our session to end. How it works is that you pay for a session, and then you can pick from several different rooms during that time with different hands-on challenges. You make your way from room to room, completing the challenges and competing against each other. I think there is a scoreboard somewhere to tell you who got the most points, but honestly, who cares? It's fun to just move your body and challenge your mind and body. Before you begin, you're encouraged to put all of your things in a locker, and I definitely recommend putting any sweaters or hoodies in there, as well as phones, if you think you might go HAM. This is definitely a workout! The people who work here are very kind and patient, and explained everything to us along the way. Not participating and just spectating is also an option, and you won't be charged. There are TV screens outside of each game room, so you can see what's happening and take some photos, if you want. This is definitely a great way to spend an hour or two with older kids, and I could see this being a hit as a birthday party destination.

The process to book the experience was fast and easy, everything was done online. Once we arrived, we found good parking right away although it seems like it could get pretty crowded very quickly. The reception are was well decorated with all of the rooms and activities they had and what they consisted of so I was intrigued reading while waiting. Almost immediately the host took us across the street to where the rooms are and she was very helpful and informative! Although I cannot remember her name unfortunately, she helped us a lot through the escape. Unfortunately we did not beat the game, but we now have an idea of what to choose from, which level works best for us, the number of rooms and how big they are, etc. In the end we got stickers and our picture taken... it was a pretty fun night. The price was a bit high in my opinion given that there was only one room for 1 hr (we paid a little over $33 per person) but then again I haven't been to an escape room in years so I am not entirely sure what the current average prices are. There was a minibar fridge that was not stocked nor cooling but they provided complimentary water bottles in reusable aluminum bottles that can be refilled at water fill stations on the property. The water fill station on the first floor was not operating correctly but the hotel staff were very kind to bring us water and ice (no ice machine). Complimentary coffee was provided in the lobby in the morning. The pantry had some interesting bottles of bourbon that were picked exclusively for 21c. We enjoyed the art displayed throughout the first floor and second floor gallery. The second floor has multiple small rooms and seating areas with comfy seating to observe the art or have a nice conversation. The staff were great attending to our requests especially the valet that retrieved our vehicle quickly each day.

This may be a campus bar, but it has a vibe - more upscale and super cool with friendly staff and an AWESOME stage. The rooftop is beautiful - a great view of campus and Woodland.
