My family really enjoyed our time here! The only 2 issues we had were 1. The bowling lane they gave us kept on breaking. They moved us to another lane and still had issues which caused us not to be able to finish our game. 2. The token cards made you wait for 2 minutes between swipes which was a bit frustrating. Pretty nice place! Huge with indoor go carts. They go a bit faster then they look from watching. Lots of stuff to do. Several machines were not functioning but still plenty to choose from. The wave is totally awesome and fast; best ride there! Games for all sorts of age levels. Went with family and had lots of fun. Bowling was an interesting touch. read more

Took a group of nine to bowl here and not one of the lanes worked. we were moved by the employee 6 times to different lanes and not once did they work. we request bumpers, again, they never showed up. I talked to the manager but nothing changed. the lanes were blacked out and none of the pins worked. the system glitched and would give more/less points each round. dont waste your money here. its not worth it. read more

Went with my family to this location. Waited over 20 minutes for a margarita and pretzel bites. The margarita was made so sour I couldn't drink it, while waiting another 10 minutes for the second margarita just for the bartender to drop it so we left. We also had to ask where the pretzel bites were because no one ever brought them to us. Went to bowl after and the manager said he'd comp the lane for us but we'd already paid for an all day pass and he said we didn't need bowling shoes. But we were both in flip flops and would have appreciated the shoes... next the lane was broken. They worked on fixing it for about 20 minutes before just moving us to the lane next to it. We brought the complaints to the manager who had been apart of all of these issues and asked for a refund. It was denied, offered a gift card for games but our experience was bad and we wanted to leave. Won't come back. read more

It's just incredibly expensive, so is main event, you think you've bought a good amount of credits to find out you can maybe play 5 games. The go karts are slow af and cost $10 worth of credits. So does the silly "roller coaster" at the front. The other in the back desperately needs seatbelts I believe it's $8-$10 as well. Children have to ride with an adult. I had to hold onto my 11 year old daughter for dear life to prevent her from flying out. While holding myself in at the same time. The "safety bar" didn't even go down enough to keep me in, and I've got a belly. Awful. read more

We're just two out of towners/ big kids here-we spent 8 hours here yesterday. Place is super fun, amazing deals, amenities and atmosphere. So much to do and experience at this arcade! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something to do, extremely affordable for 2-3 people. Spending 8 hours here, doing all the attractions and only spending about $200 ( Arcade, Rides, Food and Bowling ) Seemed like a pretty good deal and well spent money. Not to mention the deals that were offered the entire day that made us keep wanting to play/do more. Only complaint was the bathrooms they just needed a little more cleaning and stall doors that locked properly in the women's side, besides that though this is a pretty great place! read more

I went here today and, I am not exaggerating, almost half if not more of the games I saw were completely nonfunctional. On top of this, it was extremely crowded--meaning at any given time most of the working games were either full or had a line. We saw no mention at the front of the fact that half of your arcade was down. I understand technology is unreliable, but a warning of some sort beforehand would have been nice. I feel like I wasted my money because we left with most of our money still on our Malibu Jacks card, and knowing us we'll probably lose it before we get the chance to come back. Malibu Jack's is an indoor playground, Chuck E Cheese, and mini sports complex for the kids all in one building. This was the perfect spot to run my toddler during my visit to Lexington. Here's how it works. Everything in the building has an assigned cost. You just load money onto a card at the front and swipe that for every attraction. There's a list of attraction costs at the front to help you decide how much to load. We did the buy $50, get a $10 bonus option. $60 was more than enough for hours of fun for a three year old. The arcade games show your balance with each swipe to help keep track. Check their website ahead of time because certain attractions are half off on specific days of the week. We visited on a Monday and that happened to be half off of mini golf. The five of us were able to play for $20! I can't believe how much is offered in one building! They had a large indoor playground, putt putt, go karts, arcade games, laser tag, bowling, a mini roller coaster, 4D rides, bumper cars, and virtual reality. They also have a large cafe with plenty of seating. All of the attractions and building were clean, well maintained, and operational. There were only a couple of arcade games that were out of order, but most were working. If you're a parent looking to entertain/run your kids then this is a fun place to do it. On a Monday it wasn't crazy busy so it was a pleasant outing for the family. read more

My wife wanted to select something fun for the grandson. Go to Yelp, and Malibu Jack's showed up. My Grandson and I had fun on mini-golf. Then we tried Lazer-Tag. The group before us had 17 people, but we missed it by 2 minutes. Our group had 7 people. My grandson got the high score. I was third. It was fun. Then my grandson played games for another hour. Why have a over $500k kids jungle gym play area and not keep it clean or thoroughly disinfected. Ive also seen children come in and out the bathroom with AND WITHOUT socks on then back inside the jungle gym area to play. There are stains on the floor. Cob webs in the corner. Dust and debris on the floors under the gym. Stains on the seat covers. I think they let this place go. A public park is cheaper and probably more cleaner. The a/c hasnt been too good here the past few times either so theres that. Used to be our favorite place. read more

Want to start out by saying it was New Year's Eve so possibly understaffed but there's no excuse for the conditions this place was in. The first bathroom I went to had toilet paper scattered and dirty toilets. There was absolutely no soap and the germ x dispensers outside the bathrooms were empty. Went back over an hour later and still no soap. Disgusting how many people had been in and out of there without being able to wash their hands. Went to a second bathroom near the bowling alley and it was in one of the worst conditions I've ever seen. It had been flooded at some point. Standing water in the stalls and a worm crawling in the stall I used. There was a bottle of soap on the counter but look like it was halfway filled with water. The sink corners were covered in black mold. I'm not sure how this place is even operating. I don't think it would pass health department standards. Now to the arcade, several games were down. Several activities didn't have anyone working them. Half of the games that would let you play, were broken. Several of the games that involved throwing balls didn't have any balls in them. This felt like a huge rip off. We barely got any tickets to get prizes due to this. Several of the employees were on their phones and had poor attitudes. Waited in line for 30 mins for the go karts just to get to the front and the worker tell us our kid wasn't old enough and that we would have to get in the very back of the other line (to ride with adult). Overall felt like this place was very disorganized and unsupervised. Kids running around unsupervised and cutting people in lines. The mini golf was totally unsupervised. There were kids running all over the course. Coming onto our hole and hitting balls while we were trying to play the hole. Kids recklessly swinging the club and hitting the balls as hard as they could. I felt like I was constantly trying to watch myself and make sure my child didn't get hit. We wanted dipping dots but there was once again no one at the station so we decided to settle for an icee. But to no surprise the icee machine was also broken. The bowling alley was fine. read more

We took our nephew to the Lexington location on New Years Eve. We were quite disappointed. Firstly, there were no hand soap or hand sanitizer dispensers available. We found bathrooms on the other side of the venue and there was standing water with (maybe feces?) gunk and liquid all over the floor as well as actual live worms and it was a pretty rough smell. The bathroom should have absolutely been closed, however it was the only place in the building we found able to sanitize our hands. Both men and women's restrooms were that way. I regret not taking a photo of the restroom. The games were also underwhelming. Many were out of service totally. And many would take your credits and then be broken (I recall specifically 2 motorcycle games, a ball drop game, a cup pong game, a car racing game, and a snowmobile game not working after it took our card). We wasted over $30 in credits on games that did not even work. Multiple games that used balls or throwable objects also did not release any objects, but of course you only found that out after swiping the card. We were here about a year ago and experienced none of these issues. It was overall just a poor experience this time around. Uncleanly conditions and very few games in working order. I would highly suggest finding a different location to celebrate events until reviews indicate better conditions. read more

The food is terrible, looking around no one finishes their pizza. Over priced lousy food the app used to place your order doesn't even list all the drinks that are available. My son waited for 45 min for the go kart. When he got up there, they asked him how old he was and he said he was 9. He just turned 10 but the lady refused to let him in. Made him cry and when I went up refused to believe me. What kind of a place is this that you would make a child cry. Never go back and it is the horrible staff. I will never ever go back!! read more

Came in on a Saturday at around 8 pm. It's a good time to come because there aren't as many kids running around, so it's also less crowded. We bought the $100 game credit to share amongst four people, since that gave us the most bonus. You can use it on rides and games. We started with the go-kart, which was fun but it was a long wait. I think you get about 3 minutes or so on the track. We also did one of the simulators, but it gave me motion-sickness. It was still pretty cool though. They have a huge selection of games and a lot of them have more than one machine, so that's nice. We wanted to check out the bowling alley too, but there was a 3-hour wait, so we weren't about to do that. Definitely a fun place to spend a Saturday night. Most of the games were broken and the place is just really dirty. The prize room has some pretty good options and some that you don't see in others. Fantastic place to go!! Hubby and I went for a date day here, and we were able to get a military discount on the cards that they give you with money loaded on it. We did bowling, VRE and played some misc games in the middle section. Overall, extremely fun and will go back. I will mention that the bowling shoes are 1 size smaller than you would normally get. I typically fit in a size 7 women's, and I fit in 6 women's. ;) The only thing that I was extremely cautious about was eating there. There were no real allergen menus around and even tho BD Magnolian bbq did have one online, I have had too many anaphylaxis reactions with them. Lexington Sports & Social Club's Thursday night bowling league just started up for the Fall season. As in previous seasons, Malibu Jack's is the host venue, and it's always a league favorite! The bowling lanes are top-notch as is the beer selection (Sweetwater 420 for me!). And we shared a piping hot Brooklyn Pizza as we bowled. The Sandbar and Grill that adjoins the bowling had quite a crowd on a Thursday night, with lots of customers enjoying beer pong and karaoke! This place might be heaven. If you can deal with the hundreds of kids running around and sometimes having to wait for a popular game to open up, then you're going to have a good time. The place is huge and they have just about everything here (our Uber driver told us it used to be a Super K-Mart). They have laser tag. A spinny ride. A pizza place. And even a bowling alley with alcohol (though you can't take booze out or you'll get arrested). We were here for about 3 hours and took advantage of our time. Played some shooting games, some throwing games, some basketball, some football, some Buck Hunter, some Walking Dead, and some giant Space Invaders. And when we wanted a break, we went to play bowling. Our lane kept having problems, so they kept adding 15 minute increments to our time (happened at least 3x). Happened to a lot of the other lanes as well, from what we could tell. So if you're in a rush, maybe skip the bowling. It was fun though! Of course, we then went to collect our prizes from all the tickets we earned from the games we played (which wasn't a lot because we sucked). Lots of stuff to exchange at different ticket price points (and you get bonus points for checking in on social media!). Definitely a great way to kill some time! read more
