In addition to the on-site work itself, I appreciate the personal commitment to developing a series of alternative solutions despite multiple challenges posed by coordination with neighbors and city public works and building departments. Over and over again, Bruce and his crews identified problems or potential ones and resolved them without skipping a beat. For instance, Bruce recommended an expert horizontal directional drilling subcontractor to bore the 100-foot underground run from the street to the holding tank. Later that day I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get back with the quote, because they do several bids a day & it takes time to get them out. 3 weeks later (this morning) I get an email saying they won't be bidding my work, because they are changing their scope of work, and this just isn't the kind of job they're looking for. Too bad, because once I learn the building process on my ADU I have plans to move on to doing a small subdivision.... And things will only go up from there. My family has built residential & commercial real estate for decades, and I am presently looking for the right people to use in the future. Not the best way to run a business, but hey....
