My coworker stumbled on this company's site and I gave them a call to set up a meeting for an estimate. The guy I spoke to, Durval, said he would come out the next day. He didn't show and when I called he said he thought it was the following day. Easy mistake, so my husband agreed to meet him the following night. I did receive a call from him about 15 minutes before he was supposed to meet my husband at our house asking what our address was. I had already texted it to him as requested so I found this somewhat unprofessional/disorganized. I got home just as he was leaving so I guess he figured it out or called my husband as I had suggested. My husband seemed happy with the estimate and we decided we'd like to move forward with the work. Durval said he'd be available to do the work late the next week. My husband called to schedule the work and on Wednesday, Durval said his crew could do the work possibly Thursday and if not, then Friday. It sounded great to us. We were super excited and decided we'd take the day off from work on Friday to either get started on laying our patio or at least get to see the excavation work in progress. Nobody showed up Thursday. Or Friday. We've left 5-6 voicemails wondering what the hell happened. Not a single response. Not so much as a "something came up, we couldn't do it". I am super pissed that we relied on this man's word. I would strongly NOT recommended contacting this company for excavation/hauling services. They may give you a good bid, but then they may never show up to do the work!

Bob came to the house the day after I contacted him. He took a look at the roof. We gave an old victorian cottage with many peaks and valleys to the roof. Bob found where he thought the leaks was coming from and offer a few suggestion as to how it might be fixed. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job and came back as soon as it stopped raining to do his repairs. After multiple rains we very very pleased that there was no further leaking. When considering this business, I would encourage potential clients to look at how Virginia and Stone behave when they receive a negative review. My initial feedback below was focused on the "emotional overhead" of interacting with this business and how as a woman I did not feel safe at times. Not everyone can carry someone else's emotional challenges, I personally only wanted a small thing fixed, but what actually happened left me feeling unsafe. The small problem with my washing machine became much larger and the fix took nearly two weeks as you can see in the receipts. I was overly patient with the no shows and rescheduling. It wasn't the mistakes made or the property damage that upset me, it was the tone of the emotional text messages that caused me concern.
