OK. I am a bit tough when it comes to restaurants and reviews. Having worked a long time in the industry, I can tell the difference when a restaurant is putting on a show or they are actually quality. This place is top quality. We got there right when they opened at 4pm, and were sat right away by our server at a nice table against the wall. The music was all instrumental super chill vibe in the background as it should be, classic and traditional Italian style mandolin stuff and very relaxing. Romantic even. But let's talk about the food. This is what it looks like when the kitchen takes pride in their work. Absolutely 5 stars on quality, presentation, temperature, texture and balance. The sauces worked perfectly with our respective meals - I ordered the Penne Pesto Chicken and it was quite possibly one of the best pesto sauces I have ever had. The soup on special was a crafted delight of a Toscana style cream base and was simply beautiful with potato, kale, white beans and ground sausage. My wife had a black and white fettuccini with a lobster tail and shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. You can feel the authenticity of a scratch kitchen in the sauces. They even make the bread in house. We knew it would be too much, but we ordered the zucchini special and it was another thing on the list that just fired on all cylinders. Perfect batter around zucchini flower and ricotta cheese, with marinara on the plate and a beautiful presentation. The service was flawless. The server was charming, smooth, and confident in his recommendations. He suggested a wine that was matched beautifully to the whole meal. Even the f***ing oil and vinegar bottle was sexy. COME ON. The only reason we didn't get dessert was that we were totally stuffed. We had a 7:00 pm reservation and drove in to meet another party who also traveled to be there. When we arrived, the restaurant was extremely packed and many tables appeared to just be receiving their food. It didn't seem like tables were turning anytime soon. We waited briefly at the bar, but there was no clear communication about when we would be seated despite having a reservation. When we asked about canceling, we were told they "can't tell people no if they come," which left us unsure how reservations are prioritized. That response was disappointing and suggested reservations may not be treated as commitments. We ultimately left. If reservations are accepted, guests should reasonably expect their table within a short window of the reserved time. We understand busy nights happen, but clearer communication and honoring reservation times would have made a big difference - especially when guests are traveling to dine there. read more

Great local Italian food and love that they are open daily for brunch! We've come here many times for meetings or to meet family. We've love the Italian flavors and some of our favorites include bruschetta and the eggplant parmigiana. When you walk in you are greeted by staff and the wait staff is warm and welcoming. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I've lived in the area for over 8 years and decided to stop in to get a crepe for my kids. I ordered a crepe with half bananas, and I noticed someone in the back--who I assume may be the owner--shaking his head. They still took the order, but I could tell there was an issue when what looked like the manager went over to talk to the server. I told him it was fine and to just make it banana and Nutella. When the order was ready, they put the bananas in a separate to-go box instead of inside the crepe. The manager seemed to know that wasn't correct and tried to take it back, but I said I'd just handle it. When I got home and opened the crepe, this is what I found. It was really disappointing. I didn't want to post anything because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try their other food, but this experience left me very upset. read more

I met a friend for Saturday brunch, and the food was delicious and well priced. I really enjoyed my latte, and the breakfast burrito with chorizo was yummy. First time here. I walked in after 8, and they closed at 9, so I didn't want to order a meal. Was just going to have a glass of wine and maybe an appetizer, so as to not be "that guy". The restaurant was still pretty full, and the friendly staff talked me in to ordering a meal. I went with one of the "specials" which was scallops in a wine/butter sauce and a side of linguini. It was absolutely delicious! I almost licked the plate. My only complaint was I thought the price ($42) was a little steep but not too bad (since inflation makes McDonald's $25 now). All in all I spent over $100 for dinner for a couple glasses of wine and that meal, so I can't do it that often. The food was memorable enough and the staff was awesome so I'll def be back, when I have some extra cash lol! read more

We had such a great time here last night, Saturday at 5 pm and a party of four! I made the reservation using the OpenTable app, so easy! Cool restaurant, nice vibe. It is a small location, but it works really well for them. Inside and outside seating available. Table seating and bar also available. Parking can be a bit crowded because of the shopping center, but there is plenty of parking available in that area. At 5 pm, it was just us four, and 2 other tables taken. By the time we left, around 7 pm, the restaurant was pretty busy with all table taken and people trickling in and out. Our waiter, Ignacio AKA Nacho, was very welcoming, very polite, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole time. He was on point! The food was delicious! Prices are average, in par with other restaurants of the same type. We really enjoyed the food, it was filling, tasted fresh, high quality, and of good quantity. We left happy. Awesome time! Quaint restaurant. Tonight was their valentines pre-fixe dinner for $150/couple. Choice of burrata salad or mushroom cream soup, six different entrees and one desert to share. The soup was creamy and flavorful with lots of mushrooms. My wife enjoyed the salad. For entrees we had the fettuccine with scallops and shrimp and the filet mignon. Both dishes were good. This place has been completely rebranded itself from its original "coffee shop" roots. They are now a higher end Italian restaurant serving fantastic Italian fare...but still offer the breakfast fare from their original roots, although the bagel and cinnamon roll display case went the way of the Dodo. I had the Capellini Gamberi, a savoury, somewhat spicy dish with angel hair pasta, arrabiata style red sauce, garlic and shrimp. It was delicious. My wife had a penne dish with eggless and she added chicken. Finished off dinner with a tiramisu and chocolate cake, both quite tasty. The ambiance could be a bit warmer if they got right of the bright white accept lighting for warmer toned accent lighting, but maybe that's a personal choice. While the ambiance is super casual and unassuming, the service, food, and drinks all have an upscale feel. We all loved every bite. We tasted each other's dishes and they were all delicious. My husband got the veal with Ragu sauce--it was rich and savory. I got the black pasta special with a white wine sauce that was tangy and fresh. The kids had pesto penne and fettuccine Alfredo and they both loved it. My sister-in-law had a penne pasta with mushrooms and sausage and it was to die for. Came here after our hike at Weir Canyon and there's plenty of parking as well as seats to eat! They have outside seating and you can bring your dog with you. Surprisingly good brunch! There was no communication there would be a fixed menu for everyone with limited choices, as I really liked the variety of the regular dinner menu which is why I chose it. Then the "couples" price of $150 for soup or salad, 1 entree and shared dessert was a little over-priced in my opinion. Can I just say I absolutely loved all the food from this cute small restaurant. Ordered a special portobello mushroom appetizer that was so flavorful felt like I was eating a piece of meat in a lovely gravy sauce. For entree ordered the special linguini and lobster with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce just the right amount of spice. Also ordered the Pizza Bianca white sauce pizza, with mushrooms and chicken very flavorful. For dessert the Tiramisu which was literally the best I've ever had. It was light and not too sweet and very unique presentation. Only one Con restaurant is outside around the back of the Restaurant. This was only an issue cause it was raining. read more
