There had steak & eggs, pancakes, chicken & waffles, usual biscuits & gravy, hash, skillets, waffles...usual breakfast food mixed in with some southern fried food. We ordered was the Benedict scramble (Sliced ham and scrambled eggs on a toasted English muffin topped with creamy hollandaise. Served with your choice Country Reds or Fresh Fruit.) and Tom's scramble (A scratch-made buttermilk biscuit topped with your choice of a sausage patty OR a chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, and Huck's country gravy. Served with Country Reds or fresh fruit). Lemme tell you that ham on the Benedict scramble was thick as heck and the eggs were soft, fluffy, and moist! I would be satisfied with just the eggs, hollandaise sauce and the biscuit! The Tom's scramble was good too. The chicken was not chewy nor hard. It was good. Jorge was our server and was very attentive. Kept coming to check if everything was good or if we need anything else. As for the ambiance, it can get loud, but we were seated in the room next to the Night Market store so it was more quiet. The main room and the room with most booths can get noisy. Ambiance and service were great but the food needs improvement. Traditional diner food, but tasted reheated or luke warm & had me wondering if it was left over from Saturday. I ordered stuffed French toast which was extremely over priced for what I got. Literally two sourdough toasts with cream in between and added strawberry on top. The cream was good, the strawberries and sauce was good, the bread/"toast" just kinda weird and barely warm. I didn't realize it came with nothing else (no eggs, etc). For $17.59 it should have included one side at least. Husband ordered egg, potatoes & sausage with a "fresh" country biscuit, which definitely was microwaved. Potatoes & sausage cold. The only thing served hot were the eggs. Our server brought food out almost immediately which should have been a sign that everything was already sitting in the kitchen probably pre-made. Flavor was there and this could have been great if the food was fresh and hot. I will say we were happy to see them serve the soda in large Mason jars and water was frequently refilled. I didn't even know this place had opened until a friend suggested coming here after our Choc walk. It's at the Garden Walk so there is a parking garage and they validate for 1 hour which seems way too short. However, we weren't charged for any parking which is nice. It's up on the 4th floor and it's a large place. There wasn't a crowd when we got there early on a Sunday am. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items that are available all day, which I appreciate. Though we decided their menu photos need some work. They made some of the food look dry or burnt, lol. Service was ok until I got really busy. Then we couldn't flag down our waitress so we just went to the front ourselves to pay. Longer you wait, more you have to pay in parking as well, lol. As for the food, we were told to try the huckleberry muffin and they were just ok. Some of the phots looked like there were more huckleberry but mine didn't have that many. Just a muffin. I also got the mississippi plate which was a large amount of food for sure. I took most of it home. It was ok as well. The eggs were a little overcooked mixed in. Not bad, but nothing I'd need to get again. It was very hearty though. Friends liked their country fried steak and steak. One liked the potatoes and one didn't so it's personal preference. Interior was a bit sticky, and the fire alarm was flashing/going off but we were told everything was fine. Overall an ok experience, but I probably won't come back. This is a busy restaurant in a mall. Short and simple, I love the blueberry muffin that comes along with certain meals, the catfish platter was delicious over a bed of jambalaya. The Mississippi skillet was a normal breakfast dish, not much to brag about. Some of the items I didn't like were the fries and coffee. Fries didn't have that crunch I liked and the coffee had a dirty coffee maker after taste. I would rank it worst than most diner coffee. The service was exceptional. Exactly a year later, I decided to give Huckleberry's another shot. This time I ordered the southern swirl French toast and the mardi gras beignets. The French toast itself was amazing. It was thick, fluffy, and flavorful. The sides were just OK - the hash browns were a little dry with no seasoning, the eggs tasted like whatever it was cooked on/in, and the crispy bacon was barely crispy. The "beignets" aren't really beignets. They're very dense and heavy. It felt like the "beignets" were possibly leftover from whatever else Huckleberry's was baking. They also had ZERO flavor. They were not good at all - worse than what I remembered. The provided accompaniment of sauces couldn't even save them. From last year I remember the food offerings being decent - not good - but I oddly liked how dense the "beignets" were. Not this time. You can take the tram from Disneyland to the parking lot which is across the street from Anaheim Garden. They also do free validation for the first hour. My wife and I came here for breakfast. We had no reservations we just walked in and we were sat right away. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. I had the view of the crocodile which moves from time to time. Waitress was nice but very fast paced she knew what she was doing. I gave it two stars because our server was very nice and apologetic even though it wasn't his fault. Inside looked promising when we got in. Once the food came out I was disappointed. Fried okra was not good. My wife loves okra but when she tried it, she didn't like it either. We sent it back and we told the server we were sorry but the appetizer wasn't good. She had the crab cake Benedict, had no flavor and the shrimp didn't look or taste like it. Probably frozen. She didn't want to eat it because she is particular about smelly seafood. Haven't been to Huckleberry's for a couple years and my friends invited me to join them for breakfast. Inside still looks the same, cute decor with some Christmas theming. Everything on the menu looked really good but I ended up getting the ribeye and eggs plate. It came with a muffin too which was yummy. Now being totally honest with you I wasn't expecting much from the ribeye. I was actually second guessing myself on ordering it. When it came out I cut into the ribeye and it was very tender and the inside was actually a nice medium rare which I asked for. The flavor was really good too! I was actually shocked at how good it was and for the price it's a no brainer. The service was excellent and everything came out great! We also ordered some beignets to share and they were great! Cute little breakfast restaurant that's themed as being in the Bayou. I tried a cup of gumbo soup, it was good needed a little salt and pepper. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and that was yummy. The stacked chicken and waffles was a wonderful variation of flavor you get sweet and savory with the Sriracha aïoli being a nice kick. I came here after I worked in the morning at Disney, and I haven't eaten so I was pretty hungry, but I knew I wanted breakfast. Someone recommended me a huckleberries and so I came. The place was definitely full and I only waited about maybe five minutes to be seated. The staff is very friendly, super sweet and had a great service. The menu was extensive, and it was hard to choose. It definitely wanna go there again to try different things. The ambience was great. It felt like a southern kitchen. Loved the Bloody Mary - can't beat the $8 price tag on that !! 2025 - you gotta be kiddin' me :D The crispy bacon was a nice add-on (if I am honest, the bacon is was drew me in - worth it). I ordered the breakfast burrito and asked for 1/2 to be packaged to go. I loved that it was packaged well enough to travel and was warm when I opened it to enjoy on a flight three hours later. The burrito is massive and had ample sausage. I will say, I definitely did need the Cholula because even with all the ingredients the flavor wasn't rocking my world but it was satisfying, just needed a little extra kick. Husband ordered the Stacked Chicken and Waffles and it came out looking just like that scrumptious picture. The restaurant will not split checks but they accommodated our very large group (around 20 ppl). We were able to identify which costs went to which card by writing in the last 4 digits. I would think this could be done in a better way BUT with such a large group we weren't going anywhere without a resy. The staff was nice, food came out quick. Everything was tasty. The restaurant wasn't too loud for us to have conversations and hear each other (at least on our portion of the table). All in all it was a very pleasant experience. read more

I'm so happy I took a chance on this place!! It's located on the second level at Anaheim GardenWalk. -Back home we call it an outdoor mall or Town Center. My daughter and I were greeted at the entrance with a smile. She let us know that it would be around 10-15 minutes. My daughter ordered the kids pancakes, chicken strip and mixed fruit. I got the stacked chicken and waffles. - IT WAS SOOO GOOOD!!! So many different flavors going on here! Savory, sweet, crunchy and juicy chicken with fluffy waffles! I absolutely recommend this dish! Nothing felt fresh or made with any attention to detail. It was bland across the board, and not just "a little off", it was consistently unappetizing. The coffee "lattes" were disgusting. I could honestly make better at home, and that's not an exaggeration. The drinks overall weren't any better either. What makes it worse is the marketing. The way this place presents itself makes you expect authentic, flavorful Southern-inspired food with real quality behind it. In reality, it doesn't come close to that promise. It feels misleading. Overall, it was one of the more disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. I left genuinely surprised that the standards were this low given how it's advertised. After being tempted by the smell of some else's French toast the other day, we came back to give it a try. So glad we did! We ordered the Crab Cakes Benedict, which was served with delicious potatoes with onions and peppers--delish!!!! We also got the stuffed French toast, which was two pieces of French toast with a cream (similar to the cream in a Boston cream donut) in between, topped with fruit and dusted with powdered sugar. As good as it sounds. And we also got Hucks Combo, which has some choices--we chose scrambled eggs, waffle, and ham (really good ham). There were a lot of good choices for breakfast that are different from most other places. There are fried green tomatoes, beignets, and a New Orleans scramble with shrimp and andouille sausage that sounds amazing. More things to try next time! Again, such a cute, themed atmosphere.
