Love this place! Wish it was closer than downtown haha. This is more of a sit down spot rather than a lounge or cafe vibe where you bring your laptop at least in front - we've brought laptops here to work I believe they have WiFi so it's still doable :) the drinks are unique with various flavors and a seasonal or two. For us the star of the show was the breakfast fried rice and the grits - all outstanding. The inside is very cute with leveled stairs and swing seats at the bar. Went here for brunch for a friend's birthday! We went on a Sunday and while we were seated pretty quickly, this place got busy quick. For brunch, I ordered an iced butter toffee latte with oat milk. It was delicious. I also got the breakfast trio with 2 sunny side up eggs, a red velvet waffle and bacon. Food was really good and came out relatively quick. My friends all enjoyed their food too! Really beautiful place and I love that it's locally owned! Me and my friend got lucky and were seated right away at the bar on a busy Saturday morning for some brunch. It was cool sitting at the bar on the swing chairs and watching the baristas making the drinks. I got the matcha and a side of fruit. I felt like the food options were pretty expensive but all the food I saw come out looked really good. The lattes were a good price. The blueberry matcha I got was delicious. It did take a while for both our food and drinks to come out and our server had difficulties with the card reader. Our drinks came out after 15 minutes. It took another ten for the food to come out. Highly recommend. Some friends and I stopped by on Sunday for brunch and it was sooooo good. I got the breakfast sandwich which was amazing, one friend got the catfish and eggs -- perfectly cooked and seasoned, and our other friend got the sampler. I got a bite of her French toast and it was immaculate. It was one of the fluke warm days in December so we were able to sit outside and avoid a long wait. Service was prompt and friendly. The cold brew was great on its own (almost tasted like it had a little maple in it), but before that I opted for the Owner's Fav latte in the 24oz. bucket. We came right at 8:30 on a Saturday morning to beat the rush I kept seeing in reviews, but the restaurant was pretty empty from 8:30-10 while we were there. While waiting for the check, several larger parties did come in, so I'm thankful we opted to arrive at opening time. For parking, we snagged a street spot out front, but it did seem like the parking lot across the street could be used as well. I will start with a huge shoutout to our server, Tevin, who was very friendly and had great energy. As it was our first time in, he gave us a lot of recommendations for food and drinks he liked off the menu. We opted for a matcha flight and the seasonal Gilmore Girls latte flight - both were absolutely delicious and very generous size glasses for the price. I also loved the Luke's Coffee sticker included with the Gilmore Girls flight - such a fun surprise! For food, I chose the breakfast scramble which included mixed vegetables, eggs your way (sunny side up), and an english muffin. It was good overall, but nothing particularly special about it. My partner chose the breakfast fried rice with bacon, which was a fun new breakfast item for us to try! Very flavorful and we both really enjoyed it -- highly recommend trying it if you stop in. Removing 1 star overall for the general ambiance and service -- we were the first party seated right at 8:30 and our table was unfortunately not very clean, including food left on the floor. It also seemed like all the staff was still busy with prep work for most of the time we spent at the restaurant, including rolling silverware, refilling items at the coffee bar, and filling to-go containers of sauces. Not something I'd normally remove a star for because I understand it takes a lot of "behind the scenes" work to keep things running smoothly, but we had to wait a few minutes for the host to notice us to at 8:30 with no line and no other parties seated, as well as waiting a while for water refills, napkins we requested, and paying the bill at the end. Also, the plate and bowl were black plastic with visible cuts in them from previous use -- not super aesthetically appealing in my opinion. Overall, the drink flights are a unique option and the food was pretty good, so I'll keep this on my breakfast rotation when people come to St. Louis! read more

One of the few places that are open on Mondays and then also it was a Holiday so bonus points! Arrived about 10:30a and given a 20 min wait time. It was definitely full this day. Offered the bar as an option, but the swinging chairs were a deterrent for trying to eat a meal. Ordered the Turtle Coffee beverage, no 2%...only Whole milk. Interesting... for those of us in a certain age bracket, it would be great for them to consider 2%. I proceeded with the coffee and did have an enjoyable taste. Opted for the Breakfast Bowl with pork bacon and pork sausage with the breakfast potatoes. I didn't expect the tortilla shell bowl, but it works out really well when you tear of a piece to eat with the egg scramble part. The bowl has 2 sauces, I had them leave off the honey mustard and stayed with the Chipotle sauce. Flavors were really good together, fresh and hot. Potatoes were a bit dry, next visit will opt for hashbrowns. Very friendly service and overall a nice brunch. read more

The have every kind of seating imaginable from tables to swings to couches there is something for everyone. It really is like a lounge restaurant for dining, chilling, getting work dine(seen some people doing that) or just having a latte. Now the important part. The food. All the food was cooked to perfection. The seasonings, the fresh ingredients it was all great. While I am not the biggest coffee drinker, I absolutely loved the Latte flight. I drank all of them. The portion sizes of the Lattes are pretty big so it's better to share with someone. Overall I highly recommend and will be support again. read more

My friends and I dined here for brunch on New Year's Day! We are from Memphis, and we're only in town for a day so we knew we had to find a good brunch spot. Service and food/drinks were amazing! The food was really slow coming out but they were packed so it didn't bother me or friends at all. The restaurant vibes were amazing! The decor, the area, the building space was amazing! I believe our server was Yemaya, (sorry if I'm remembering wrong), she was top tier!! If I'm ever back in stl, I will definitely be stopping back in! Long wait times for a Sat just before noon, but that's good news for their small business! On the flip side: it's a big space, but there's not a lot of table seating. It was going to be 45 mins- 1 hour for a table so we opted to get a coffee to-go and find food down the street. We ordered caramel macchiatos. They were made more like latte macchiatos filled 2/3 way with milk (similar to Starbucks) as opposed to an authentic macchiato with a splash of milk/ dollop of foam. I had been hoping for the latter, but I guess thats why it's called the latte lounge. There's a decent amount of street parking, but it does get busy on the weekends. I have been to the original Latte Lounge many times and I was excited to try their downtown location for some brunch. We came in at 1100 with a group of 10 and they sat us right away in the private upstairs space. This was super nice as we were celebrating our daughter's birthday and she was definitely feeling special. We received great service even though our table was out of the way. Getting here was easy and parking was easy. There is a parking lot or street parking, but we chose to park on the street (in front of the restaurant). The restaurant is huge, but it feels like there aren't a lot of tables available in comparison with the space they had. I heard they host different events there, so maybe that's why there's more space / less tables. We had about a 30-minute wait for a group of 4 on a Sunday brunch. During your wait time, you can go to the bar and order coffee on the swings. The swings at the bar are a cute touch! For my drink, I got an Iced Owner's Favorite (oat milk latte topped with cinnamon powder). My coffee was great with enough cinnamon flavor. For my entree, I ordered the Crab and Crawfish Benedict. The Eggs Benedict was mediocre, I felt as if it was a bit too dry with not enough flavor. I didn't even finish the Eggs Benedict because I wasn't a fan of it. I think I had my hopes a bit higher for it because of all of the other reviews. Service was great for how busy it was. Overall I probably would just order a coffee next time and maybe try their coffee flight. read more

I was honestly a little disappointed with this place! Maybe I came in with too high of expectations but after reading all the amazing reviews I feel like this definitely fell short. First off, the drinks left... a lot to be desired. For $27 I would have hoped this latte flight would have been AMAZING, and honestly it tasted like straight milk.. I only drank two of them. My friend got Diet Coke and it was easily the worst Diet Coke I had ever had.. I couldn't even put my finger on what was wrong with it but it was just off. Also, everything is served in plastic. Which isn't inherently a bad thing, but this place isn't cheap, so I was expecting a little bit higher of an experience.. Now for my fried rice, it was AMAZING, like if you go I cannot recommend it enough, it was so flavorful and I felt like I got a huge portion. Seriously, if you come here GET THE FRIED RICE. Hubby found this spot online and it was endorsed by the concierge at our hotel. When we arrived to the restaurant, after walking from our downtown hotel, we checked in with the hostess to request a table for 2 and were informed that the wait could be as long as 30 mins. After confirming that we were willing to wait, the hostess pointed us to a few waiting areas: bar area (which had swings for seats), a gaming area (with a pool table, there may have been something else) and a lounge area with couches and coffee tables. We sat in the lounge area for maybe 10 mins before we were called (so that wait wasn't long at all). When we were seated it didn't take us long to decide on what we wanted: I ordered the breakfast sampler and hubby ordered the biscuits and gravy... OMG, the food was soooo good! The French toast was yummy with a good texture and temperature; the waffles were light and airy and the turkey sausage was good as well as my egg whites. I didn't see any butter on either the French toast or waffles but I didn't think either needed it because they were flavored well. I also sampled hubby's food and the biscuits and gravy was savory with really good texture and surprisingly not "heavy" and the home fries were soft with a slight crispness and made with peppers and onions (just how I like them). We both cleaned our plates and then checked to see what time the restaurant opened the next day to see if it would be possible to dine there again befits our departure the next morning but sadly, it was not possible. Will definitely return when in town! The aesthetics of the restaurant were cool as well as the music and our bill was not expensive (about $30 per person including drinks). Overall, I had a good experience with my girlies here today for Sunday brunch! I was quoted for 30 minute wait and it felt a little bit longer, but wasn't bad because they have a latte lounge! I got their specialty house latte and a small cup for around seven dollars, it wasn't cheap, but I did enjoy the flavor so for me it was fine! The House Latte came with cinnamon. I enjoyed my meal definitely feel like they could upgrade their dishware and utensils as they continue growing.
