Since there hasn't been any reviews in awhile, thought I put one up. I didn't even know this place existed for so long and after going there once don't know how they're still operating. Went here for a birthday party and brought my nieces with me. I saw a review on TikTok before I went and it actually looked way bigger, more stuff, and nicer than when you're actually there. Half the games weren't working, when taking the kids to get on rides it didn't seem like the people operating the rides cared much, as I had to make sure the girls were properly in the ride and fastened in tightly. Some of the ride seats belts and straps were broken, worn out, half way tearing. That's a huge safety hazard if the kids aren't strapped in tight, and after I secured them in there, they don't even come around to ensure they're in there right. It's like am I working here too, of course I care more about my child's safety. They have a height threshold for rides but kids under the height were still able to get on. It's just kids working there, one person working two rides. I constantly used sanitizing wipes to wipe the girl's hands because I felt it's so many germs around that place. Finally, had to take my niece to the bathroom, I asked her is she could hold it because the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and it was only two stalls which makes no sense for a place that size with that many people. This place seems great for kids, it has a little bit of everything; skating, trampoline, mini stomping game, laser tag, jumbo inflatable slide, spinning wheel, a roller coaster type fast trimming ride, and even things for toddlers. We have held birthdays for our two young children a few times and attended others' parties for kids who invited us. The little ones always have a blast with the laser tag, moon bounce, trampolines, castle, roller coaster, bumper cars, and foot interaction video games. Staff are always friendly. If you need special attention reach out to the assistant general manager Zeke who ensured we had our needs met and was attentive to those on his ride. One benefit of going over various years is that I've seen how the interior has evolved. Management is always moving rides around and bringing out new additions to keep up with the times. It usually looks different from one year to the next. LOL's downside is that the food is not that filling and is pricey. Like many party places, food from outside is prohibited, so birthday parties require ordering from the kitchen. Pizzas are plain and thin and go for around $20. Nachos aren't even worth it for the price. Fries have such a limited quantity. The kitchen closes one hour before the business closes. For parties, the staff are strict about making families leave once the two hours are up even if the birthday table will be vacant the rest of the day. Maybe the staff can cut birthday party customers some slack since they spent a lot of money on that event. Once the table is gone seating isn't guaranteed in the public section. read more

I decided to bring my kids here to skate today bad idea. When we first walked in we were hit with an horrible smell, it smelled like used cat litter. My kids really want to skate so paid 8 to skate plus 4 for skate rental. We walked to the back where the the skating rink was at and it was sad sight. The floor was hard plastic, unusually slippery and it was too dark but they had plenty of seating (since no one was there on a Saturday might I add) for non skaters. I had to use the restroom I wish I hadn't, it was too small for a big venue and not so clean. Also the door to one have the stalls was broken just hanging for dear life lol. I will not be returning, it was worth the price and my kids didn't have fun. They need to fix the floor. read more

I have parties for my children here often and it's a major hit for a range of ages. My oldest is 13 and youngest 4. It's so much to do and your children will never get bored. As soon as they get their pass, they take off and I don't see them until they want something to eat or drink. The wings are what the kids say bussin! I just attended a kid's birthday party here. Great location, good parking, lots of fun to offer for different ages, walk in party arrangements available with a live dj to boot! Not as fancy as Chuck E Cheese (CEC isn't fancy, I know) but a step above with bumper cars, wall climbing, bouncy houses with huge slides and the makeshift small dance floor. All was great, but something was just a little off for me. I was able to walk in and I was lost among people and children (safety hazard?) The space is a big open box. No walls or partitions to separate birthday/eating areas from the next game. Well there were makeshift partitions--chairs or stanchion posts with the retractable belts. The birthday and eating areas should be separated from the rest of the facility a bit better. It was hard to tell what was what. Those things aside, the kids had a blast! read more

I was here for my godson's Birthday party. I had read about this place online, but had never been. The kids enjoyed themselves. They were able to run around, play games such as lazer tag etc. Halfway through the party the dj came and set up. For me, he made the party great for the adults. I am not a fan of games, but before we knew it, we were having so much fun. He took the time to acknowledge every child's birthday. It was really great. A great time had by all. read more

I took my daughter here on a cold, rainy day when all other children entertainment possibilities were exhausted. I had no knowledge about the place except what I saw on the internet. Initial contact with front staff was not good- the girl at the front was not only somewhat rude and impatient, she was inarticulate, not even able to explain to me the different package deals without creating great confusion. I decided to take the basic "LOL" package, at $25 a pop, plus $2 if the adult was not participating with the child. This package included bumper cars, Himalaya coaster, ball blasters (not working), swinging stars, spinning tops, and toddler world. The rollercoaster was ok and bumper cars were almost entertaining for my 5 year old, but other than that, the equipment was not suited for someone her age, or it was not working. Additionally, the entire time we were there, a birthday party was going on, and the DJ just had to make sure everyone knew about it: blaring music, ear-piercing announcements, and a continual "happy birthday" theme song over and over again which turned my mood sour. I really couldn't wait to get out of there. High priced, ill-managed, and a very high decibel environment are good reasons to stay away from LOL Station. read more

I still think this is a great place to take your children ages 11 and under to have fun. There were a few extra fees this time around as well as a new addition to fun. There is a new ninja warrior area instead of the additional bouncy house which was cool but they also are now charging a few for the skating ring guards. I believe they are $5 I included a picture. The food was great and the deals were even better. I was not able to use the check in offer of $5 off due to the fact they they treat it as a groupon in which it was not, so it was not accepted. read more

My son had an amazing birthday party here! We had an incredible host and the kids had a ball. They have very reasonably priced birthday packages. I would give 5 stars but it is so hot in here that we ended up leaving early due to the heat. The birthday D. J is so funny and has a great song selection. I wanted to like this place, really. But I found it to be loud and chaotic. I came here for a kid's birthday party, but seriously doubt I'll go back. To its credit, LOL Stations is fairly conveniently located. It's on the back end of Beltway Plaza (opposite of Target, up the ramp). There is plenty of free parking available, so that's also a plus. However, things went a bit left field for me once we walked in. First, you just stroll in. There's no greeter, you're just *BAM* right in the middle of the action. As a parent with a young child, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my child run around without being right behind every moment them because there's no real monitoring of entrances/exits. While I'm sure it's unlikely, there's nothing to stop someone from picking up a kid and walking out, and nobody would be any wiser. I am personally a fan of hand stamps that coordinate between adults and kids they enter with, which prevents this from being an issue. Luckily, the party parent was at the door and directed us straight to the table, which was at the back corner, near concessions and restrooms. But if you're just popping in here, it will probably be jarring to have to figure out where to go, what to do, or otherwise make sense of it. There is no entry fee here like other entertainment places, but you "pay to play" as the website states. The kids were issued wristbands, but also had to carry punch cards with them, and were given tokens on top of that. I'm still not totally clear, but I think the wristbands gave access to play areas, the punch card allowed them to get on rides, and tokens were for arcade games. Myself and several other parents definitely had sensory overload. I'm not sure if we're just too old or not (doubtful ... all under 35), but being in here was exhausting. Between the kids running back and forth screaming and playing, the loud music & dancing, plus the sound effects from attractions, there was too much going on and you couldn't escape any of it. No matter where you were, you were still in the midst of everything. It comes with the territory of this kind of place, but this was on a whole new level. There were tables for about 8 different "parties" so I can imagine the party area gets packed if they're fully booked. I appreciated that they had extra chairs in addition to the table/benches available for kids, though. One thing that was unique is the featured DJ. He was really engaging and kept both adults and kids entertained. He also played a wide range of music, including rap, R&B, Latin, and pop. Given the diverse demographic of the area, it was nice to see them take their customer base into consideration like this. The DJ also hosted a contest and some kid won $100, which was a nice touch. The space itself reminded me of a converted warehouse that is now home to carnival attractions. I wasn't quite sure if the theme was tropical, carnival, or ... what. Attractions included bumper cars, an indoor roller coaster, climbing/ jungle gyms, several inflatables, and traditional arcade games. There's probably something here to suit everyone's interests. Unfortunately, there were mechanical issues at several stations. When some of the kids wanted to ride bumper cars, they could only go 2 at a time because the other 2 were broken, which was incredibly disappointing. I briefly interacted with staff, and they were hit or miss. The person working the party was very professional and attentive, but the attendant working the bumper cars/shooting gallery was clearly bored and had her nose in her phone most of the time. Nobody was outright rude, but at least try to seem like you care about what you're doing ... That being said, the kids loved it, and I suppose that's what matters most. But as a parent, I don't see myself picking this as our location of choice. In fact, when the party ended, the playdate I'd originally planned to have in LOL Stations afterward was promptly moved to Chuck E Cheese, which I find is a much more controlled chaos, believe it or not. read more

I hosted my son's 4th birthday party here (4/8/2023), and this place was amazing! The staff was terrific and very accommodating. I mean I can not stop raving about the staff from the time we walked in. The greeter was professional, she got our party in and to the right direction of check-in quickly. While checking in the young lady who worked at the "party check in counter" not sure of her title, it is very possible that she was the manager. Her name is Randy. She was especially a "shinning star" for our entire event day. She accommodated and when I say "accommodated" I mean she accommodated every single thing we needed outside of what was included in our package plan. Before the start of the event while checking we were told one of the rides was down and because it was a holiday weekend maintenance was not able to get in and fix the ride in time, without asking she offered us a substitute "major attraction" ride of our choice instead. I know some people would find that to be something businesses are "suppose " to do in the event something like this happens, but what was especially outstanding to me was that most companies leave you to find out that something is not working or malfunctioning and leave it up to the customer to ask for something in exchange in hopes that they do not, but Randy let us know straight up and provided us with a great substitute. That was just one of many things I found to be exceptional. Outside of the staff being stellar, as far as the place itself the kids at my son's birthday ranged from 3-13 and every single one of them enjoyed this place and was able to participate. Along with the adults lol. I give this place a 10/10 and woulddefinitely recommend this place! read more

Just had the absolute best birthday party for my little boy here! We had a party of 20 children ages from 4 - 13. The food was served promptly! And the food was finished in about 10 minutes...so you know it was great! Anything we needed the staff provided quickly. The DJ was amazing! The parents had as much fun as the kids. And of course the children had so much fun with all of the rides and games. Don't ever schedule a birthday party at this place. Horrible customer service!! I scheduled a birthday party for my son and was confirmed for 10 children. I then received multiple calls and emails from the LOL party organizers asking for me to call them back or email them if I wanted to make any changes. The day before my son's party, I emailed them asking if I could add another table. The LOL party organizer called me instead of replying to my email. He informed me that I could just add another child and I would automatically get another table. I elected to add the additional child since it was cheaper and I would automatically get the additional table. However, when I arrived at the party, I was only given one table. I explained that I had had a conversation with one of their agents who confirmed that I would get the additional table and child. The manager refused to acknowledge that I had a conversation with this agent. He refused to accommodate me by ether issuing me a discount or refund or finding another table with which to add to my party. He even insinuated that I was lying even after I showed him my call history with the main number. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PLACE!! I would give them zero stars if I could. Smh. read more

I scheduled my daughters party here after my son didn't have his. Everything was executed almost perfectly. I didn't get the numerical number I payed for but was refunded and given another balloon in place of it. No biggie. The kids had fun, although my daughter wasn't tall enough for most things she wanted to do. I didn't know I needed to get tokens and they didn't have an atm there, that was my mistake. The DJ came about an hour before her party was over. I noticed other kids got acknowledged for their parties, but mine didn't. Those kids got tickets and other gifts as well. I just went to the Laugh Out Loud Station in Greenbelt, MD for a birthday party and it was just horrible. It was so hard to find just exactly where the building was located in the mall and as soon as we walked into the place it was chaos, disorder, and disarray everywhere. The bumper cars were not working and when my grandson was on the little roller coaster, I thought that an earthquake had started within the building. There was a DJ in the place and he was playing Go-Go and Chuck Brown music the entire time. When the food came over, the pizza's were just ok. The sodas tasted a lot like Fanta orange and Fanta fruit punch sodas. The little (and I mean tiny) clear plastic cups they used were something that could have been purchased at the dollar store. For the amount of money that they charged, the red plastic SOLO cups from the grocery store would have been a huge upgrade. There were not that many games like Ski-Ball to play and I don't even want to say what the inside of the bathroom looked like with only one bathroom stall to use and a million people in the place. We didn't even have enough seating for our party members to sit down at our table. To me now Chuck-E-Cheese looks like a Disney World resort. I have never been more disappointed to attend a place like Laugh Out Loud. I feel like the owners said lets place a few roller coasters and a Ghetto club DJ together and charge lots of money to people for parties. The only thing missing were strobe lights and a disco ball. I think that the quality of a child's party can be fabulous but this experience was cheap, chaotic and very night-club like. I think that when the owners were thinking of a party concept they should have picked an adult or child environment, but not both together. Not all parents want their children to listen to that kind of music when attending a party. Your better off having a party at your house or the 2nd choice would be Chuck-E-Cheese. I think that people should get refunds for what they spent. This place is not worth even a shiny copper penny. There is a reason that this place moved out of Waldorf, MD. I would have given this place no stars(ZERO), but for me to place this review here, I had to place at least one star, which the Laugh Out Loud Station in Greenbelt, MD deserves NO stars. read more

I would only give this place 1 start but because the lady back in party reservations whom was pregnant btw was so nice. When we first arrive I stood in line for 15 min just to be told to follow the yellow stars just to be redirected to another counter. We checked in everything was cool. There are a lot of stipulations when it comes to the rides I was under the impression that the wrist band was for everything then they give you a card for rides. It's just too much. Don't be fooled by the pictures. This place is super hood. Consumer Tip: If you can't SEE any of the facility before shelling out your money to go in, it's probably because they're hiding how bad it is. Some friends of ours from Georgia were visiting family in Bowie, so we thought this might be a good place for us to meet and have some fun. (We were coming from Columbia) The funnest part of our experience were the running jokes about me picking that awful place, and the terrible laser tag course with the broke, "Name your price tool" weapons. It would almost still be funny if we hadn't spent SO MUCH money just to find out how bad it was. First and foremost, it's overpriced for what you get. $100 for a family of 4 and there is no way for a kid to not want their parent to participate. My 4 year old was too small for everything even though the website list by age and not height for most rides and attraction. Second I suggest you get two table cause one table they offers it not enough room. They need to offer two tables. Its 50 dollars. The cashiers was super cool. Just things wasn't explain clearly enough. They had DJ I am not sure if he was part of lol or someone party but he arrive 2 hour after my daughter party. My table was not quite set up. The order of balloons was incorrectly placed. The place was fun for the kids not bad. Staff was cool not sure why some people had a problem with staff. I was disappointed my last visit to LOL Station, because my God son complained and other children I didn't know complained that the Playground slide hurt their buttocks. I noted it is very worn and gray and protruding, it should be fixed before a child gets injured. Also the children siad they were fearful about the Jungle Gym being so shaky, like it might collapse. My Godson only likes the Playground and Jungle gym, so I can't return until these things are improved. For other kids the rides and games appear to be a lot of fun. It's a mess I would not recommend this place for having a party. Once your time is up they stand over top of you to let you know that there will be an extra 50 charge if you not finish at your table. I don't usually leave reviews but LOL is so well deserving. The indoor fun park is perfect for kids. I had my son's 5 year old birthday party. The staff was truly amazing. They were professional and attentive. They made sure everything was to my liking. The food was kids food but tasty. They had a DJ to keep everything lively. It was so much fun for the kids and parents. You will not be disappointed if you make this your choice. I brought my own decorations and then they added to it to make it even more special. This experience was the absolute worst.. they tell you to arrive a half hour before your scheduled time of party however you should probably show up an hour before due to the transaction portion taking forever. The customer service is horrible the lady conducting transactions was all over the place doin everything but our transactions (that's why it took forever) her demeanor was terrible she had a nasty attitude towards not only customers but her coworkers as well. The bathroom smelled like urine it was filthy dirty I would have rather used a port a pot. Our food took forever to come out then when it did our chicken was not fully cooked then we were told "o well" we are about to close...o and they don't do refunds! Horrible...... the young girl at the front desk is lazy and ineffective, she was rude and dismissive and couldn't be bothered to pick herself up off the stool to provide service. The place is filthy, the games are old, broken and dirty. You walk away feeling like you need a bath. I only stayed because once I walked in payed and discovered the condition, they would not give me a refund. It's a shame there is nothing else in that area and they subject people to this filth. I had my 6-year-old birthday party on a Saturday evening. Let me start off by saying, the children had a really good time. However, for me, it was a nightmare. 1. Poor communication/planning. I tried to confirm the number in my party but no one bothered to check the message or return my call. As a result, the table/chairs were insufficient. A number of my guests had to stand and eat because they ran out of chairs. 2. Overcrowded/chaotic. In my opinion, they tried to book too many parties at once. It was obvious they were ill-equipped to handle the volume. 3. The food was almost an hour late. It came out 10 minutes before the party should have ended. The chicken was good but the pizza was cheese on really bad bread. I was disgusted by the drinks in pitchers. It was too crowded to have pitchers without covers sitting on a table that will be mainly unattended. 4. Our table was directly in front of the dance floor, other party goers were crowding our table to watch their children dance. (Open pitchers, people crowding the table yelling and chatting, not a good combination) 5. Apparently we should have had a host but we never saw one. read more

I really would like to give a better review but we experienced terrible customer service today. They started closing rides 30 minutes before the actual closing time, meaning we were forced to purchase rides that the kids couldn't use, and they won't let you use them except for during that one week - there's no way we will have time to come back on another day this week! I visited LOL Stations for a birthday party last weekend. I'm having a very hard time thinking of even one good thing about this place! 1. Overall the facilities looks dirty and unkept. There was dust everywhere including caked on dust and grime above the inflated bounce slides. 2. The gentleman working the bumper cars was down right rude when I asked how to pay for the ride (tickets or tokens?). With this being a children's entertainment place I would expect the employees to be pleasant and helpful. NOT! 3. The entire setup seemed chaotic and disorganized. It was not clear if you needed tickes, tokens or writsbands to play the games and rides. Just too many options. Advice: please make a universal access pass so that customers don't have to figure out which "play currency " they need for each game/ride. 4. The food was...lets just say less than great. I ordered a single slice of pizza which was supposed to take 15min. When I went to check on the order after 20min I was told it hadn't gone back yet. Excuse me? If finally came after anothet 15min and it was unfortunately terrible. There are just too many decent frozen pizzas available now to get what I got. 5. Positive : The dj was a nice touch. He played music that appealed to the children and adults. Advice: Not soooooo loud. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place nor will I visit again. Attended a Friday evening party last night, the venue was not crowded, the kids had a great time, the food was good... the issue was the time it took to be served. The party started at 630, the venue closes at 9. We received the food for the party at 820... And that was after having to talk to the manager. As compensation they did offer to give a free party for 10, so that was good. read more
