Place is a joke. Don't go here. It use to be $7-8 to wash, now it's $11, and the machine didn't like my Costco laundry detergent. So it bubbled up and went out of service, the attendant said it was all my fault because I over filled it... it was a comforter... I used one lid and it was no where close to max line... and I had to pay $22 to just wash it. She moved me to another machine that wasn't working and telling me it was my fault because my card was "no good here" I'm like then how did I use the first machine..? So I moved my comforter over to another and poof worked... I asked her when her machines were last checked and she walked away. read more

It's in a small plaza near the main street. Parking spaces are very narrow. I'd recommend parking away from the laundymat if you care about not getting your car dinged potentially. What I enjoy about this place is they offer free wifi. I just watch some shows while I wait for my clothes to be done. They offer a wide range of washing/machines. The drying machines are only one size. I would recommend only using the requirements based on your needs for loads to avoid paying more. read more

My Washer stopped working recently and so while I am getting it repaired, I decided to come here to do my laundry for the day and almost every machine was defective with no signage to warn us. The worst part about it was that it kept some of my quarters, yes it was only $2.00 however since it cost 8.00 to wash this was 25% of the total cost. All this would have been fine as I know sometimes machines have issues from personal experience as I mentioned above but I was setback by the customer service here and the willingness the employees have to resolve these issues. No I did not want my $2.00 back but yes that would have been nice lol. I brought it up to the personnel cleaning she mentioned that she had no clue it was defective and so I suggested they put a sign on it as a courtesy for other customers, which they did not. She explained nicely that she did not have much authority over anything her only job was to clean which I completely understand but I do think this is wrong that you can not get a hold of any customer service rep or management. So overall not too happy this establishment, I will try again at a later point and hopefully I have a better experience in the future. I mentioned it a number of times to the attendants, but each time they have an excuse. This has been going on for months. Usually this place is fine. I come here to do my big loads of blankets and towels . I live in an apartment building nearby with a very small washer dryer on site. But tonight with 2 blanket and towel loads soaked and washing and one load ready to be washed, the card readers stopped working. "Lost Connection" is what multiple machines would tell me. The only person on site working (she was cleaning) didn't really speak English and just pushed some buttons looking very unsure of what to do. It's too late to go get cash somewhere (730pm). Decided to try this place for the first time. What was appealing, machines accepted Apple Pay and credit cards. The machines were more on the pricier end, but I didn't mind because they wash the clothes Amazingly. For drying you must do 20 minutes for $1, which I didn't mind. Place was decently cleaned. My biggest problem, was the lady working there, absolutely rude ! I just needed to use the restroom, I asked politely and her attitude and response were completely uncalled for. I hate doing laundry, especially when I have to travel to do it. It is the bane of my existence. And this place doesn't necessarily ease my laundry anxiety. The only nice positive about this particular laundromat is that the machines are relatively big and accepts Apple Pay or credit cards! Even though I don't use that method of payment, i stick to regular good old fashioned quarters cause I'm old school like that, it's nice to have consumer choice. My one big gripe about this place is that the floors are terribly dirty and wet during peak hours or by the end of the day. You have to be especially conscious when unloading from washer to dryer and make sure your clean clothes don't fall onto the filthy floor and contract something of the moldy sort! There's also trash everywhere! They really should have an on site attendant at all times since I'm sure they get heavy volume usage. There's big machines that you can wash your whole closet in for $7 and drying costs $0.25 for 6 minutes. There's also a step stool for us shorties that want to use the bigger machines but are vertically challenged to dispense the soap at the top of the machine. The waiting area has benches. I wouldn't call them the most comfortable or most ergonomic, they have a weird slant to them, but I remain grateful to have a place to sit and Yelp as I wait for my laundry to conclude. In conclusion, it's not the best laundromat but it's not the worst. I have yet to find one that will light my world on fire or make me absolutely fall in love with doing laundry. read more

This was the first time in years that I have been back to this particular place to do laundry. After college, I stopped going there because it was always crowded and the parking was atrocious. Not much has changed. The workers seem to be overworked, and understaffed. There are hand written signs everywhere to wear masks and while I am not opposed to this, it could have been done in a more professional looking way. This place had no coins, and all the machines required the use of cards if you did not use your own coins. A man riding a bike, rode his bike right into the laundromat, blasting 80's rock, had to be chased out by the worker because he wanted to use the restroom to shoot up. I know this because the worker announced it to everyone there when the man left on his bike. The whole place could use a good cleaning, and perhaps the owner could look into making this place a little more pleasant. This is downtown Menlo Park, this isn't some back of the alley spot. I live on the east side, and I am very surprised that this part of town has allowed for this establishment to let itself go. I don't know that I want to come back here. read more

The laundry mat is very clean, the employees are very nice. The dryers work and $1.00 or $1.25 will dry clothes. Most of the wash machines work. The bad is In November 2020 I lost $30 and still waiting for my refund. I have lost more then the $30 but never put in a claim. The owner is not responsive to his employees. Just moved to town and had some issues with our washer and dryer so went here to get a couple of loads of clothes done to get by. I used the self wash area and it was easy to use and very clean. The manager checked in on me to make sure I didn't have any questions on how to use the machines since I had previously asked a question about using detergent pods when I first walked in. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I've had to utilize the services of a place that does wash and fold and this is the worst possible place you could use. The first time I brought my clothes in they ended up burning a favorite shirt of mine by leaving it in the dryer too long. I thought I would give them another chance because they're close to my house and it's the most convenient for me. I am currently disabled so having this done is very important to me. I brought them my laundry this time and it was so much worse. Most of my laundry was left damp and when I told them about it I was invited to bring it back in so they could dry it! I'm on the verge of knee surgery and this isn't an option for me. I had also provided them with hangers to use which they totally ignored, so not only was my laundry wet but horribly wrinkled as well. The cost was about $70 and I've requested that the owner contact me so I can get my money back. His response so far is I can bring my laundry back but that's it! I am so angry about what's happened to me that I've decided to take him to small claims court. I know it seems like a minuscule amount, but it's the principle that matters. I'm frankly so weary of settling for a job poorly done and doing nothing about it. I'm really hoping that this can serve as a cautionary tale and save you from using this absolutely inferior business. I really can't believe that I would need to add to this extremely long review, but as I've gotten to some of the shirts they laundered, I've found foxtails and burrs on my shirts as if they were rolled in the hills! I've never run across anything more weird. The only explanation I can find for this is that they washed and dried my clothes with a dog bed or horse blanket. The floor is completely filthy old clothes, socks, T-shirts scattered around left by people. The place feels extremely shady and unsafe . Do not do any laundry here. This is my favorite place when I need to wash items that are too big for my washer at home. I use credit card to pay and I have overpaid because I kept pressing the wrong keys, asking for extra wash time. There are always plenty of available machines compared to other laundromats I have been to. I only use the very big machines and only when I wash big items such as comforters or mats. read more

Easy - drop off laundry at 8am - pick up after 4pm (but before 6pm) all nicely washed, folded with shirts on hangers - friendly service - pay $1.50 per pound - for me, 1 week is about 10-12 pounds - don't have to lug dirty laundry back to Boston - enjoy the rest of the day. :) Better still, after dropping off your laundry, you can drive 3 blocks down and have breakfast at Ann's Coffee :) Sweet. read more

I like this place for Wash & Fold, but not for dry cleaning. They get the job done well--and in record time. I took almost my whole wardrobe there this weekend and the whole job was done in a few hours. The cost is worth it per pound--I would rather spend my free time doing things other than the L-word thank you very much. We brought a comforter to Launderland in Menlo Park last Friday to be washed because we had guests coming in the next day. We were promised that it would be ready by 7:00 a.m. the following morning. When I walked in the door to pick it up at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, the first thing I saw was our comforter on the very dirty floor. When I asked the employee why the comforter was on the floor, she rudely responded that it hadn't been washed yet. (As if that is an excuse to keep it on the dirty floor.) When I said that it was due to be done now, she shrugged and looked at me as if there was nothing she could or would do about it. I then grabbed the comforter - which was now much dirtier than it was when we had dropped it off - and started walking out the door. As I walked out, the employee blurted out a condescending "you're welcome," as if I should have thanked her. Thanks for nothing, Launderland! We will NEVER be back. read more

Welcoming and open environment, I always feel safe and they post up the free WiFi code don't ever go board lol but it's pretty bright in here, good lighting and affordable. The ladies that do the drop off wash and fold are awesome! They took my basket and had everything washed and folded neatly for me the next day. I was running late to pick it up and they let me pay by check since the till was closed. They are super friendly and did a great job getting out a few stains on my running gear. read more

This review is really 4.5 stars. This is an excellent wash and fold service. Price is competitive ($1.50/lb), they do a good job. Hours are good, and they are just nice people. The first few times I've used them, they did an amazing job on folding (I'm a little picky on how sheets and underwear are folded -- i know, it's a little anal - no pun intended). The latter few times not so much on the crisp underwear folding. Thus the 4.5 stars. They also don't mix up your clothes -- wash your bathmats with your delicates, etc. If I lived closer to Menlo I'd use them all the time! read more

I rarely go to the laundromat but came here to get my blankets washed. Prices are competitive, and machines are a mix of new and old. I was about 30 minutes late to pick up my stuff from the dryer, and when I came back to claim my blankets they were gone. I was slightly panicked and just thought to myself, "Well, maybe someone that really needed them took them." On my way out I peeked into the laundry service side to see if anyone was there to help me, but alas, they were already closed for the day. I did a quick scan around the room through the window and lo and behold, my blankets were perched atop the shelf, folded and wrapped in a plastic bag. Lots of machines, reasonably clean, not too crowded. We were standing around waiting for a big dryer to open up and a worker kindly put quarters in the one big machine that doesn't take credit cards.
