I sent in three wool sweaters yesterday, the ETA was Monday, and I thought that's pretty reasonable. but I was pleasantly surprised by a message from the store saying that my clothes are ready to pick up. My sweaters look much cleaner, and they took care of my sweaters in detail. I think they defuzzed my sweaters somewhat (I'm not 100% sure, but my clothes did look prettier when I pick them up). I'm curious to try out some other types of fabric and see how they are doing there. read more

Dropped off 10 items last week Friday and picked up on Wednesday, paid over $100. which I am OK with since items are all delicate. At first glance the clothes looked amazing. When I began to unwrap the items, a faint smell was coming off of certain pieces. If I had to guess, it smells like someone else's body odor and cheap perfume which is exceptionally disgusting, Its like they threw my clothes into a stinky garment bag or with other heavily soiled garments. I want to caution anyone considering taking their clothing here. I have taken garments here for both dry cleaning and tailoring services and twice now have left with items that are completely ruined. Both items are unfortunately irreplaceable and the damage caused by Pinstripes is irreversible. I paid the high prices and did not complain, I don't expect money back for the terrible work. Rarely do I give low reviews to small shops, I discovered 5 of the buttons smashed on my dress shirt and 3 buttons smashed on my blazer. It was a $200 dress shirt and a $1500 blazer. I don't like giving negative reviews from 1st time mistakes, so I reached out to pinstripes about the buttons. They cited that it was my responsibility to check for all damage within the first 24 hours. I inspected the clothing for stains after pick-up, but I didn't think I would need to check for smashed buttons. I've never had a dry cleaner smash my buttons before, so I know to check next time. Lesson learnt. They said they can repair the buttons for $6, but it really wasn't about the money. It's about the principle. Imagine having the audacity to damage someone's items then ask them to pay to fix it. I know I didn't damage them because it went straight from dry cleaners (hanging in the car) to closet. It's a shame because my wife and I collectively spent about $300 in services here, and it was going to become our new go-to spot for cleaning. (Front desk guy is really nice btw). However their response to the situation left a sour taste. +1 star for front desk service. +1 star for decent cleaning. -3 stars for smashing buttons and terrible follow up. I advise all those that come here to thoroughly double check for damage to their clothing on pick-up. read more

Moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and I needed to get some items dry cleaned. I had seen this place on my way to and from the store, work, and school. The first thing I noticed is they seemed to be open pretty early in the morning which makes dropping off items easy. I stopped in and was greeted with a friendly smile and good morning. I asked what the charge was for my items and the turn around time and both answers were reasonable so I left my stuff. I was pleasantly surprised that I received a text of the drop off and also off when to pick up. The items were ready earlier than quoted which was also a nice surprise. After the 2 interactions I had with the team, drop off and pick up, I decided to inquire about something I had been putting off because I was concerned about it getting messed up... My son has a letterman jacket and anyone who knows... knows. A letterman jacket is around $500. He earned a patch for varsity shot put at CCS and we wanted to add it to the white leather sleeve of his letterman jacket. I asked if this was something they could do and they said they were sure they could but to bring in the jacket and the patch and they would check with the person who does the embroidery/alterations. So, I brought the have and the patch in. We showed them exactly where we wanted it placed and they used painters tape to place it. This causing no damage to the sleeve or the patch. I left the jacket and they said they would call me the next day and let me know if and when they could do it. The next day they called. They said they could do it and I said great but I was up a tight timeline as my son had a championship meet the following week. They told me they could get it to back to me, guaranteed by 2 days before the meet and that the cost would be $20. So I left the jacket. I received a text that the item had been dropped off and I received a text the 2 days later that the jacket was done. They completed it 2 days early because they said they knew I was worried about it so they prioritized it. The jacket came out beautiful. It was in exactly the right place. You could not see the stitches. It was done 2 days early and it only cost $20. Needless to say I will not be going anywhere else for clothing care services. The customer service I consistently received with all transactions and the trust they have fostered with me by the respect they showed me and my personal belongings has made a customer for life. read more

I had a stained dress from awhile back i never had time to send in for dry cleaning. Had subtly alcohol staining from a club in Vegas and had already sent it in to the hotel to dry clean but they missed a huge spot. Brought it in at opening 7am and they said they could have it ready before dinner time which i was ecstatic about! They quoted dresses starting at $14.95 and actual charge was $18.95 as the dress is delicate and more formal wear. It was ready by before 1pm! Only reason to knock off a star is because the cost is much higher than its predecessor. (They took over as new owners for the dry cleaning facility). I'm sooo grateful for Pinstripe!! Over the weekend, my puppy had an accident on my blanket. I was distraught since my laundry machine was broken and I didn't know how I'd get this giant comforter clean. The last time I washed it, it took SO much effort to dry it. Hours in the dryer!! I did NOT want to go through that again so I used Yelp to send quotes to local dry cleaners. This was my first time ever using a dry cleaner so I wasn't sure what to expect. Pinstripe was the first to reply and they said they'd be able to get it cleaned by the end of the day! Unfortunately I didn't see the message until later in the day, so I decided to bring it in on Monday. On Monday morning, I was greeted by the nicest guy! My fluffy down comforter was only $45 to wash. (Cheaper than the local places near me!) He called me later on to let me know there was an odd smell still on my comforter (probably due to my struggle washing it previously), and he was going to keep it another day to try and wash the smell out. Honestly that was SOOO nice of him!! I didn't expect dry cleaners to care so much, so I was super grateful. I didn't hear anything back the next day but that was probably due to a computer error. I called earlier today and it was ready and waiting for me. It was nicely packed up in its own bag (a step up from the bin I threw it in). I paid and I was on my way. If I had known it would be this easy to wash my giant comforter, I would've dropped it off the last time puppy had an accident LOL. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this place. Pinstripe popped up in place of the previous dry-cleaners (Sierra?) on De Anza. Most of the laundering/garment care infrastructure appeared generally the same as before, but the aesthetic upgrades (touched-up walls, some sofas in the waiting area, a small snack bar) were all pleasant surprises. We were warmly greeted by Mike, who politely and efficiently helped each customer with their orders. I asked if I could have some or all of my clothes done within 4 days (two of them being the Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving) -- I had no expectations, but to my pleasant surprise, Mike said that he'd be able to have my entire order (described below) done by then. The entire drop-off process took less than 6 minutes, and I received a text indicating that they would notify me when my clothes were ready. Just two days later (Friday after thanksgiving), I was notified that my order was finished. I got the sleeves of two jackets altered here and the hemming work is great, you can't tell that the sleeves on my jackets were altered. I also got them dry cleaned as well and the overall price was fair considering the difficulty of the alterations. My only complaint is that one of the jackets sleeves ended up way shorted than what was measured at the store. The jacket is still kinda wearable, I just have to loosely wear it and can't comfortably wear it anymore. It low key sucks since it is one of my favorite jackets. Tried Pinstripe based on great Yelp reviews -- brought a couple pair of pants to get altered on my first visit and recently had my quilt cleaned. The alterations process is ok -- don't expect you're going to the tailors; I found that it's easier if you pin the items yourself beforehand to your preferred length if you have several items to get altered; alterations did a good job with the actual hemming of the pants. The service was helpful and pricing is reasonable. My quilt was cleaned within 24 hours and it came in it's own plastic bag - which was a nice surprise. The app is helpful as you can track where in the process your items are. The front desk/service is always great and the business is clean. Would definitely go back again. read more
