After being at two mother pediatric dental offices before with our kids, we are happy to have landed on this office. We were sad to see Dr. Launspach retire after our kiss's 2nd visit to the office, but Dr. Chey and the rest of the staff are amazing. The kids say their demeanor is always friendly, the office is accommodating to new tech that my kids bring with them, and most importantly, they are incredibly professional and thorough in their dental care. Anytime there has been any issue, Dr. Chey and the hygienists are very descriptive in their assessments, and they do what they can to make the kids feel comfortable about it. Lastly, my daughter sees an orthodontist for her braces and the staff works in conjunction with them to ensure they are working in sync. So, idk who would give a negative remark? But this place is amazing! I mean they take time to actually speak to the kids and acknowledge them! They ask questions. Give you a guide for good health I mean Dr.Chey is awesome just awesome! I took my daughter here when she was younger and then because of reasons unrelated to Dr. Chey found somewhere closer and THAT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE! There is no one I trust more than Dr. Chey when it comes to the lives of my children. I was in seek of a dentist who would not put my son under general anesthesia and I made the 2.5 hour drive from Orange County to see Dr. Chey and it was worth it. My son, who was 4 at the time, needed fillings for several cavities and a crown. The work done was impeccable and affordable. My son who is now 8 has not had any issues since seeing Dr. Chey and we always get compliments during annual check ups from other dentists and family physicians on what a great job was done to my son's teeth. Dr. Chey is so nice and amazing with children. He was so patient and waited until my son was relaxed and comfortable before beginning work on the chair. The office and staff also felt inviting and sincerely kind and I was put at ease. There is no one I trust more than Dr. Chey. He is an honest dentist who will not try to rip you off and genuinely cares about the well-being of your children. On a scale of 1-10, I give Dr. Chey one million. read more

I wish I could give this practice 10 stars. From the very first phone call to the end of my 2 years olds appointment (emergency appt) I was treated with so much respect and kindness. I called on a Monday in a panic. My husband took my daughter to another dentist and we had some major issues. The office manager Jen took time out of her day to answer all my questions, she even had email communication with me due to me being at work. Through our phone and email conversations they determined they could help my daughter. They got me on Tuesday morning to meet with the doctor and go over all my options. They made me feel so comfortable and confident. We then couldn't schedule my daughter until the following Monday but I informed them if any cancelations please call me. Wednesday afternoon I received a call informing me they could see me Thursday! What a relief. Jen informed me the procedure would be with another doctor, not the one I originally met with. That gave me instant anxiety, I didn't say anything because I was so happy just to be moving forward with the procedure. Jen called me back 1 min later and said, Trish would you like to come a bit early and meet with this doctor. I mean WOW! Tina and another back office Jen kept me informed during the entire procedure. There really are good people and great practices still out in the world today! This is one of them. These people are living angels! read more

I called to get my girls in for a checkup as new patients. They are 2&4. Through the call she let me know that they are still requiring masks for all patients, 1 parent/family is allowed in the office, and kids 3 and older have to go back alone. All red flags for me. I let her know that my 4 yo would not go back alone (she's a stage 5 clinger, but also, a little girl and I'm not letting her go anywhere alone). She said there were no exceptions. So I said thank you and goodbye. I think these office policies should be known here for other new parents looking. This office staff is wonderful, Teresa the front desk girl is so nice, I wish I had found them sooner. I'm so thankful they where able to see my child next day and when they did the work on my 6 year old she walk right inn on her own with out any worries. The office is so cute, the small furniture made my daughter so happy she said it felt like a tiny house for her to play at. They even have a small playground outside for them. This is hands down the BEST dentist. My kids love going to get their check up. They can't wait til their next check up!!! The staff is friendly and so patient with my kids. The office is clean and very well organized. They always take their time to make sure my kids get what they need done. Been taking all 3 kids to this dental office for many years and because of a few rescheduled appts they wanted to push a $50 fee even to reschedule!! This makes me so angry because I told them I will take my service elsewhere and they still did not waive the fee! There are a dozen BETTER offices so I guess when one door closes another will open. If i could give this Dentist a zero in stars i would. My Husbands father died in a motorcycle accident and my both my sons appointments were for this Monday at 8am. It didn't even dawn on me that he had an appointment until this morning as you can imagine there has been other things on my mind. I called at 6am this morning to change their appointment and to have them call me back. When they called me this morning at 9:30 they told me i would be charged $140 before i could re schedule because i didn't give them 24 hour notice. I explained to them that my father in law had passed and i called this morning at 6am to prevent a no show. They pretty much said too bad we cant schedule you again until you pay this fee. First off they aren't even open during the weekend so how am i suppose to call and give them 24 hour notice. Calling them was the very last thing on my mind this morning but i didn't want them to be waiting on my kids to show up. I asked to speak to an officer manager and was first told ok and to hold and then was told they don't have an office manager. These people and staff they work here are completely heartless. I wouldn't put a child in their care again if my life depended on it knowing how they are. This was my second and last bad experience with them. The last time my boys went i was told that my oldest had thrown up all over the floor and i was charged an extra $90 for a special care fee because of that. I asked the nurse, did he throw up during his impressions because he has bad gag reflexes and she informed me no, it was before and he threw up all over the floor. So i apologized and paid the $90. I asked my son when we got in the car what had happened and was told he threw up in a bag and it was during his impressions because he said he was gagging. From the receptionist (who is beyond amazing) to the dental team to finance, they treated us with care. Took my kids to dentist. They are on time, didnt have to wait long. They explain to the kids what is going on and called me back to explain as well, and show me xrays. They give a prize to the kids if there is no cavities which is awesome and they get to take a picture! Staff is nice and seem professional. read more

My daughter had her 1st appt with Dr Dan and let me tell you it was the best dentist appt she's ever had. This office is very clean and the staff is absolutely amazing. They made my daughter feel very comfortable and took the time to explain to her what they were going to do. After she was done they made sure she was ok and was well taken care of when she was ready to go home. I am giving this place a one star review because of very poor customer service. I scheduled a dental appointment for two of my kids several months in advance. I jumped through all of the hoops prior to scheduled appointment, which include, text confirmation 3 days prior, COVID screening questionnaire 2 days prior, etc. The same day that I did my COVID questionnaire (two days before scheduled appointment), I received a phone call from the office stating that one of the dentists retired and the other dentist was negotiating with insurances and that I was currently out of network. I am appalled by the lack of foresight by this place that this would happen 2 days prior. Did they not have anything planned out? Here I am, canceled dental appointment because of the out of pocket cost and I still need to get my child a dental exam to start kindergarten. This place should've had this figured out and I shouldn't have found out such short notice! It seems that they truly don't care about their patients, which is why they receive 1 star. read more

We love these guys. They do a fantastic job and my kids love them. My kids feel right at home when they are there. Such an inviting environment and distractions for the younger more apprehensive child. All my kids like the video games. The younger kids like the toys inside and in the enclosed patio. Even my older kids look forward to the outdoor playground. They have a treasure chest of goodies/toys and prizes the kids love too. The staff is absolutely amazing! We love those gals! The staff and dentists are very nice and don't make me feel like a bad mom if one has a cavity, they just inform you on how to try to prevent future problems. My children also have hemophilia, so they always take all of the precautions before working on them, which is very important to me! Worse dental experience ever! Please be sure and ask ahead of time about all of the charges you'll have to pay because they won't tell u what your insurance won't cover ahead of time. If I can give this place a 0 star, I would! Their customer service is terrible don't even try to work with you. I'm so upset, I have never given a bad review. Today both of my children were seen for a routine check up with X rays & all the works. As I was scheduled their follow up appointment I come to find out there is nothing available until January 2022, We need to wait for more than 6 months out for a follow up appointment. My insurance will only covers X-rays once a year, so this appointment was a waste of time, money & my insurance, if I look for another doctor I need to pay out of pocket. They have no appointment until more than 6 months out, why do they even bother scheduling my inicial appointment. Now I need to find another Doctor and Pay out of pocket for X-rays & consult. When I ask for recommendations Tammy can't recommend any one & when I asked to speak to the nurse, she didn't even want to speak with me. read more

After reading the previous reviews, I have to comment that billing problems can occur with any doctor. I've experience the same aggravation at other doctor offices. However, I can honestly say that every time I've had to go out of pocket for services, the staff at Launspach & Chey Pediatric has given me a PRINTED line by line explanation of the costs prior to any work being completed. On occasion, I've denied the uncovered work by simply signing off that I don't want it at the time. I was referred to Dr. Launspach by my family dentist when my first child had overwhelming anxiety about dental visits about 16 years ago. She was followed by my other two children, one of which has autism. The doctors and staff have alway gone above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable, even scheduling during special lunch hours so that my middle child wasn't overwhelemed by sensory overload when he was younger. I would highly recommend this office if your child has any kind of anxiety about dental work. read more

Very difficult to work with as they kept passing the buck when calls were made to correct the billing issue. Repeatedly did not return calls and then added more and more rebelling fees and are now threatening collections despite it being their mistake! read more

Worst customer service. Do not take your children there. Before verifying our coverage through our insurance they began my child's procedure and numbed his mouth. They continued to do work on him by doing some x-rays before talking to us. After they talked to the insurance they found out that our insurance took them out of their network and wanted to know since my child's mouth was numbed already if we wanted them continue working on him, but that it would cost us over $1000 out of pocket. Instead of apologizing to us they tried to be the victims and still charge us for the laughing gas of $90 when we said no to continue the work. We had previously went there for the regular check-up, and they didn't say anything about having issues with our insurance and proceeded to do the next appointment. But I guess they don't confirm insurances until they start procedures on someones child because either way they know they are going to get paid. Its all about money with them and not giving the best customer service. read more
