STILL LOVE Dr. Crowe! She's honest, efficient and conservative. Hard to find in this area.

If you look at my dental x-rays it looks like a Christmas festival from all the work I've had done. Despite my best effort to take care of my teeth it appears I was the unfortunate few that won the genetic lottery of having horrible teeth composition. As you can imagine I have had the pleasure of being in a lot of dentist chairs and in my opinion Dr. Crowe is the best. Long story short, she fixed a botched dental work by another dentist in record time and with ease. Not only does she do fantastic work, she's a great listener and quite fast. I've finally found a dentist, all thanks to my Mother In-law. This is a dental office that seriously cares about all their clients. Intimate environment, that is very welcoming. My long-time dentist is moving out of the area, and my search for a new dentist (via Yelp) brought me to Dr. Crowe. She is professional, thorough, and explains her procedures clearly. She's open and honest about the pros and cons of various procedures, and doesn't "upsell" work that doesn't need to be done. Her support staff (assistants and front desk) are pleasant and professional. No visit to the dentist is exactly a thrilling event, but Dr. Crowwe's attitude and sense of humor make it a pleasure. read more

After my long term dentist decided to retire, I was out looking for a new dentist as I was not thrilled with his replacement. I am very happy that I found Dr. Crowe's office. From the minute I went in, it felt so professional and I truly got the feeling that everyone I spoke with with really cared about the service that I was getting. In addition, all of her equipment was very state of the art! Dr. Crowe spent a lot of time with me doing a general check-up, explained everything she found, and was incredibly friendly as well as instilling a feeling of confidence in me. My teeth were also cleaned by their dental hygienist who did a very thorough job. All through my experience I was so pleased. I live in San Francisco. You can't swing a dead cat in this town without hitting a health care professional, but twice a year I drive 100 miles a day to see Dr. Crowe at her office in Saratoga. There is simply no one else in the Bay Area that I trust as much with my dental well-being. Dr. Crowe has been my dentist since 1998. When I first met her, I was struck by her intellect, her warmth, and her fabulous sense of humor. Many moons later, I continue to be impressed by how knowledgeable she is about the latest news on the dental scene, and how quickly a visit goes when she's telling a funny story or reviewing a book or movie. (Ask her about her friend who got bitten by a monkey.) Dr. Crowe's office is beautifully decorated -- it's more like a spa than the pine-paneled, circa-1975 offices you still find in a lot of medical buildings. She has great magazines in her waiting room -- People, anyone? -- but I don't get much of a chance to read them because she and her staff are always on time. And on the topic of staff, Dr. Crowe's is friendly, kind, and professional. I am Dr. Crowe's biggest fan, and cannot recommend her highly enough. read more

All three family members are seen at Dr. Crowe and I recommend her to everyone who will listen. She was such a lucky find! We have been seeing her for about 5 years now. I am a good dental patient, meaning I have plenty of problems to keep a dentist busy (cavities, crowns, grinding, crossbite, jaw popping, you name it). Before going to Dr. Crowe, I had the same dentist for 25 years (since I was a child). When he retired, I was adrift. I tried two other dentists before settling on Dr. Crowe. 6 Reasons I like Dr. Crowe: 1. Very friendly, never arrogant. Dr. Crowe sets high standards for her staff and they show genuine interest in their patients. Last year I was seen on my birthday and she not only noticed, but surprised me with a card! 2. Patients are never kept waiting. One of the main reasons I switched from a prior dentist was excessively long wait times on a regular basis. 3. Honesty. Dr. Crowe has never tried to sell me anything or convince me to have procedures that are not needed. I trust her completely with my dental care. 4. Staff never makes me feel like a loser for not flossing or brushing properly, and eating popcorn & hard candy. 5. My daughter wants to be a dentist because she loves Dr. Crowe. 6. She has the right combination of years of experience: young enough that she is current on dental procedures and techniques, yet not just out of school. I've always been overly aware of my dental care. I've always flossed and still my previous dentists, (they should have been named Dr. Ouchs or Pain) always said that I never flossed enough and I have a cavity, again! My husband swears that dentists are crooks and create cavities. The recommendation to Dr. Crowe included a rave of, ".. even our 6 year old boy isn't afraid to see Dr. Crowe!" If you are looking to change or find a dentist, look no further. Dr. Laura Crowe is the best there is. I have had quite a few procedures and can speak to the outstanding quality of her work. She is gentle, caring and fun to visit. I've seen her relate to small children and she takes extra care to explain the procedures and put them at ease. The office atmosphere is relaxed, yet professional, and the office staff are courteous, happy and fun to talk to. Her hygienists are also excellent. Dr. Crowe is awesome! She is always so friendly and nice. She does an excellent job making you feel like you're not just a patient but a friend. I have no fear of dentists, but several of my friends have had bad experiences. After I graduated college and had to become a "real adult" I didn't realize I also had to get my own dental insurance. Not living in So Cal or being by my parents, I had to find a dentist on my own. Have you ever seen the lists upon lists that you can look at to choose? Well, let's just say it was very intimidating. I found out about Dr. Crowe from a group I was involved in and from the time i stepped in her office I felt comfortable. I don't like going to the dentist, the horrible sounds and the scraping (you know what I am talking about) but her hygienists are so nice and attentive. Most of the time we are talking so much I forget I am getting my teeth cleaned. I had the same dentist all my life (my cousin) and I didn't think anyone could be better than my own family. I was wrong. She really listens to you and has an inviting personality! As long as I live in the Bay Area I will recommend everyone to Dr. Crowe! read more

Dr. Crowe and her team are fantastic. The office is very organized and goes the extra mile to make life easier--great customer service. The hygienist is really nice and gentle, and Dr. Crowe is the most genuine, down to earth person. I am kind of nervous about dental work, and I used to dread going, but since I started at Dr. Crowe's I actually kind of look forward to going--she really puts you at ease and the whole office is so warm and friendly. She does fantastic work --in the past, my fillings have always hurt for awhile, but she even did a crown and the next day, it was completely painfree. Also, she gives the best shots I have ever had (ugh)! I think Dr. Crowe does a lot of really complicated cases (I was referred by a friend who had major implants and other work and raved about her), but I just needed routine stuff, which was fine with them--it's not one of those offices that tries to sell you a lot of stuff you don't need. read more
