We are staying for a month in Cape Coral, but wanted to spend a weekend in Orlando, so we needed to find a pet sitter in a town we didn't know. We just got home from our weekend away from our 3 dogs. Our pack consists of Frankie (cockapoo), Maggie (medium mutt), and Charlie (Newfypoo) - needless to see they are a lot to handle and need lots of love and attention. Laureen provides all that, and then some! She was so easy to communicate with prebooking, and when she came over to meet the family in person she was so sweet and informative. While we were gone Laureen sent us texts and pictures to update us on everything about our little loves. She respected our home and left everything in fantastic shape. In November of 2014, we hired Laureen to take care of our 2 birds while we were away for over a week including Thanksgiving day. I can't sing Lauren's praises loud enough. For the first time ever we came home to healthy birds when she was sitting them for us. We even had a person once stay at the house and the birds were not as well cared for as when Lauren watched them. Before when we came home, one of our birds had plucked out most of her stomach feathers. With Lauren watching the birds we came home to 2 happy birds with all of their feathers. Her prices are right on target with other companies in the area. Recommended her to a friend with multiple pets and she and her family were very happy with Lauren's services too. Laureen took excellent care of our furry, four-legged family members, including our senior rescue cat (19 years old) who is a bit fragile and tentative around strangers. I've had my dog, Molly, for 5 years. She was a rescue. She has the worst separation anxiety of any dog ever. Seriously. When I first got her, she broke out of 3 crates , broke most of her teeth in the process, tore down the blinds in my living room and ate a big hole in the drywall by the front door. In May of 2015 I used Laureen's service for the first time and it worked out very, very well. My Alaskan Malamute is a great dog but he had a lot of separation anxiety issues when I rescued him (no surprise after being left on the street, 45 days in a shelter, two boarding facilities and two fosters, all across several states). I was travelling for the first time since his rescue and his care was very important to me. Laureen was nice enough to come to the house, meet him and take him for a short walk before my travel. I knew it was a good fit! She was gentle and confident, good traits to exhibit to any dog, but especially important for a large dog! Sure enough, when I returned from my travel he was healthy, happy and anxiety free. Her regular communications during my absence were an added bonus. I now have my pet sitter for life! read more

Laureen is the BEST petsitter I've ever had! HIRE HER WITHOUT RESERVATION!! She is professional, kind, trustworthy, detailed, honest, and loves her animals. (I found her through a neighbor.) With Laureen caring for my beloved animal, I do not have to worry one minute about dog or my home. I have an elderly, blind, deaf poodle who can't be bothered with making new friends. I needed Laureen to spell her in the afternoon while I was at work. Although I paid for 30 minutes, I told her once my dog did her business she was free to go. Not only did Laureen stay the entire 30 minutes, but she would put my dog back in her bed and watch her fall asleep. Something my little Zoe loves - she adores being in bed and have a human sit in the chair and watch her fall asleep, but I never mentioned it to Laureen. Laureen figured it out on her own. She and Zoe also found a new routine together. Laureen has an intuition with animals and speaks their language. She was never late, she made sure to leave a note (I like notes but she will send a text if you prefer) and let me know if my dog ate or what she drank if she did her "business," she always returned my texts. It has gotten to the point where my dog waits for her in the hallway, on weekends and Holidays, when Laureen is off. On Christmas Eve (I was home, Laureen was off) Zoe was displease that Laureen was "late" by 23 minutes and didn't want me - her human- to take her out. She wanted her LAUREEN!! Try to explain a holiday and weekend to a demanding, blind, deaf poodle. Zoe has fallen head-over-heals in love with Laureen. And, I don't have to worry about the quality of care my pet is receiving nor do I worry about the safety of my home. I feel so lucky to have found her. And Zoe prefers to have her afternoon walks with Laureen rather than me. We would be LOST without Laureen. read more
