During the time my son attended the school, he came home several times with scratches and bite marks that I had never been told about. I usually found them during bath time, and whenever I asked what had happened, no one could give me an explanation. One teacher, in particular, seemed to make my son very anxious. He would cry whenever he saw her. One day he came home with blood on his clothes, and I was told he had fallen. As a mom, that really worried me and made me question the level of supervision. I also noticed changes in my son's behavior while he was attending the school. He became more irritable, his eating habits changed, and he started hitting his older brother, which was completely out of character for him. I can't say what caused those changes, but I noticed them during the time he was there, and they concerned me. Even after we left the school, whenever we drove past it, he would often become upset and say, "Mommy, I don't want to go to that school." Seeing that broke my heart. It took me a long time to help him feel like himself again. Every child and every family's experience may be different.
