Good price but the worst service of any of the airport parking locations near the San Diego Airport. It's nit so much getting to the airport, it's getting picked up. We landed at 10:45pm. Got our bags by 11:00. Called them and were told they were on the way. This must be a definition of "on the way" I was previously unaware of. The location is only 5 minutes from the airport. It took them over 30 minutes to finally arrive. Other passengers had been waiting for over an hour. But that's big all. They continued to LIE when cashed back. That even hung up on my wife During our wait we saw the following parking shuttle buses: Aladdin Park: FOUR TIMES Wally Park: THREE TIMES Park And Ride: THREE TIMES So AVOID AT ALL COSTS They lie. No problem leaving my car to fly to Dallas. Coming home was a nightmare. We waited for over one hour to be picked up at the airport nobody came. Aladdin shuttle was nice enough to go to their facility at no cost and we walked to Laurel from there. I am handicapped by the way. When we arrived at Laurel at first they could not find our key but than we were told the car was located on the 6th floor which is outdoor parking. We paid ahead of time for indoor parking which is more expensive. To get to our car we had to take the stairs (no elevator). When I left and stopped to be checked out I ask for a refund because our car was parked outside not inside and the lady said they couldn't do anything about that. No refunds!! My suggestion to anyone wanting to use this parking facility go somewhere else. Just look at their review rating. I should of and will never use this company again!! read more

Probably one of the worst parking structures I've ever been to. I feel that they don't even want me to park there. Going in, we were greeted by staff that didn't display a friendly face at all. The first sentence they asked us was "what are you doing here?" Wanted to park at the roof to have a quick view of the airplanes before heading out for dinner, the staff refused to let us park there or in the indoor parking lot and kept telling us to park on the street. This is definitely a mood killer. The unprofessionalism and unfriendliness of the staff made us leave the structure and forget our dinner plans as a whole. Tip to Owner: you are aware of how popular your parking structure is to the public due to the location. I HIGHLY advise you all to improve your security at the rooftop instead of rejecting and refusing paying customers that are looking to park at your establishment. The distrust that the owners have against few troublemakers are displayed clearly through the staff which created an unpleasant experience towards everyone. Until this issue is fixed, I recommend everyone to not park here. read more

Ridiculous. Don't let the good deal of Groupon get you. I'd rather pay more to not have to waste time waiting to get home. There was only one small shuttle that can only fit 8 people but there were 16 of us. One small shuttle only. You know one flight can hold more 200 people? At least have enough shuttles to accommodate 10% of a flight which is 20 people. That's more reasonable. We ended up waiting for 35 mins for a shuttle to take us to our car, the same amount of time we need to drive home. The funny thing is, he told us not to call until we have gotten our luggage because it's supposed to get there in 5 mins because it's real close. Liar! After the first shuttle left, leaving us stranded because it couldn't fit everybody, the driver told us another one was on its way. 15 mins later the shuttle got here. It was the same guy! We parked there for a week. The spaces are so small that when I returned to pick up my car i could not open any of the four doors. I had to open the hatch and climb over the seats to get to the driver's seat. I am tall and old, so this was not fun. When I backed up so I could get out and close the hatch, I realized there was a water pipe lover than my hatch that dinged it pretty good. Never again. Terrible experience. We have to wait for more than an hour to get picked up. We called.several times and they just give us excuses that they only have 1 shuttle, driver is on break, heavy traffic, driver pass by and they didnt see us.. Plus when we got back to the garage, there was 2 cars blocking my car. So I had to wait for them to get the keys and move them. We reserved our parking space with Laurel Airport parking It is advertised as having covered parking, but for some reason the only available spots were on the uncovered roof. No problem, we were ok with this. Upon arriving back from our trip we followed the instructions on the receipt. We got our luggage first and went to the stated place of pickup I called and was told they would send a driver, we , waited 25 minutes for someone to show up. Nothing. I called again and was told we missed the white van. However, this is not Correct because any vehicle would have had to bass by us standing there eyeing everything that passed by. We called again and after more waiting the van came. My husband stepped out to wave and flag him down. The driver honked at us then started yelling and screaming at us and I was concerned things were going to get physical. It was like the driver was trying to pick a fight. We got one of the last parking spots, and the people after us were turned away. The shuttle from the airport to the garage took 25 minutes even though it was 11:00 at night. I have used Laurel parking many times. It is very basic, but it is also the cheapest option. Often it is the wait time to be picked up at the airport that is the issue. The elevator is still broken. They just got the new large van/shuttle into service. on Monday 2/26, I called at 1:31pm for pick up. Knowing there was 2 other couples coming behind me, I thought at least get the shuttle headed this way. They called about 1:37. Shuttle never came. I called again at 1:54pm, he said I don't know where he is, should have been there. Called again at 2:15pm and said just tell me the truth of why no one has picked us up. He said that the driver picked up people at Terminal 1 and didn't have room for others at terminal 2. When the shuttle finally came about 2:25pm, there were 4 persons in the shuttle. I happened to ask the couple ahead of me what time they called for the shuttle. She said at 1:36pm and no shuttle ever came. UGH. So basically the service lied. Please just tell me, hey, we are short staffed. It will be more than 30 minutes. Then I could have joined with the other 2 couples and took a taxi for about $5 each max. Our experience with Laurel wasn't a very good one. Upon arrival they told us to park our car anywhere but the roof. The elevator was down. The parking spaces are tight and there wasn't a place to park except the roof. We paid for indoor parking. While my husband was parking the car and I stayed with the luggage, one of the employees got into a little confutation with another guest. From my perspective it was not warranted. It is never warranted for a employee to confront a guest. The same employee was then asked to take the shuttle to the cruise ship. The employee asked who was going to the airport and who was going to the cruise ship. He then decided to take those to the airport first and then take everyone to the ship. Take everyone one at the same time. That was fine except their were a few of us still waiting for our party because they were parking the cars. We ended up waiting for a different shuttle which was great. When we got off the cruise ship and called the Laurel parking to be picked up they told us to wait by the C. So we did for about 1/2 hour. There were other waiting as well. Then we had a few people come and ask if we were waiting for Laurel and we said yes. They said that they had just called and asked how long we had been waiting. One of the parking workers asked if we were waiting for Laurel and we said yes and he said they just pulled up and you can load down there. We got up and walked down there only to find that they only sent one shuttle and other people who hadn't been waiting as long as we had got on the shuttle before us. They asked us when we called how many was in our party. The driver was very nice and tried to figure out what to do. He made a call to his office and not sure what happened there. In the mean time we found another family that had been waiting as long as we had and there wasn't room for them either. We told the driver to take them and please come back asap. He did return after about 20 minutes and we were able to get on the shuttle. I'm sure that this seems like little things but to us it was poor customer service. read more

I parked my car at this location for 2 weeks. I prepaid for self parking, when I arrived I was told they were full and they would have to park my vehicle for me when a spot opened up. I wasn't comfortable with the situation but did not have options. I took a picture of the odometer before I left. The inside of my vehicle is kept clean. When I returned there was trash inside my vehicle I did not leave there, including a receipt from a local store with a date from when I was gone. We were on our way to the San Diego airport for our flight to visit family for the holidays, and the gate guard turned us away, saying, "They were full, and they overbook all the time," as if it was a regular recurring issue without remorse. No other place was open either, and thankfully, we could find parking at the airport for five days at $220 total and barely made our flight. We booked Laurel Airport Parking through RIGHTWAY, a shady company, because they refuse to answer their phones or respond to emails. My 1st call I spoke with a guy who seemed to busy to even tell me how long it would be.. then tried calling again.. The people were friendly but their ability to manage airport parking was sorely lacking. I had reserved self parking but when I got there they said I had to let them park my car. Ok - not That big of a deal. They transported us in a crowded mini van. On the way back , we waited almost 45 Minutes for a Ride back from the airport after the mini van came By and was full after 2 Families ... when I first called they didn't tell Me to Expect any delay. When I called after 40 mins I asked what was wrong and they told me the van had broken down *and there wasn't anything they could do... we decided to hire a cab - who wasn't happy about a 1 Mile ride ( we Tipped him twice the fare - and he cheered up) one Family ahead of us had also been waiting 30-45 mins and they had one person go back to the lot to pick up Their car and go back. *There was one small mini van operating - apparently the other mini van wasn't working. For the size of the lot - they should have some Back up / Larger vans- Especially on a busy travel day that they knew When we'd Return ( from The reservation and I would assume they collected this from most customers. ) When we got there - they told me my car was parked on the third floor (with a broken elevator-) when I protested that I didnt want to search for my car, there was a nice employee who offered to get my car. Update. After being overcharged $12 when I booked, Got the last spot @ top of the garage 5th floor w/a broken elevator, which has been broken for at least a year. Stairs you take are very unsafe with missing floorboards & if you're not careful you'll fall through . Building inspector should be aware of this. When I went to get my car after the trip they had it blocked in with another car & I had to wait for someone to come move the car so I could get out. Needless to say, I'll be using Aladdin or another reputable park & ride. Will be reading reviews before booking anything again. Because I see I'm not the only one with a terrible experience w/ Laurel Street Garage w/100's of negative reviews. Not sure how they're even still in business! read more

This is usually my go to lot when I'm flying out of San Diego. They're usually prompt with parking and shuttle service. HOWEVER, today I found out that just because you PAY for reserved parking, doesn't mean you actually have a reserved spot. Today it was completely full (even though I had a PAID reservation) and the employee told me to basically just "wait it out" until more cars exit. Pretty hard to do when you have a flight to catch. You know how they say "check the reviews before you book," well my horrible mistake thinking it was a great deal at $70 for 3 days. How could I go wrong. I booked the so called reservation a month in advance. The nightmare began with being turned away at the entrance to the lot. An older gentleman who looked like he was a solid participant at Woodstock and probably a hippie in his time smoking a cigarette came up to me and said they can't take anymore vehicles there lot is full. I said to the older gentleman that I have a reservation with a booking number. He said that a reservation doesn't mean they have to accept my vehicle. He said just apply for your refund online. I was just about to leave to figure out what to do next because my flight leaves in an hour and 15 minutes when the older smoking guy came back and said it's your lucky day, a spot just became available. I was still fuming but accepted his invite. I pulled into the garage and they told me to just leave the key in the car which I did. My wife and daughter were traveling with me and were told to wait in the waiting area with our luggage for the next shuttle. Booking agency was a third party called Rightway Parking. The agency says there's a shuttle every 10 minutes. WRONG! They only have one van. We waited a half hour and barely made our flight. With all the camotion I ended up leaving my cell phone in the car probably from all the stress of trying to make our flight and dealing with Mr Woodstock. It turned out that leaving my phone in the car only created much more havoc because all our tickets for all our shows and bus tour to the Grand Canyon and Vegas were in my wallet on my phone. Nonetheless we battled through with the rest of our trip and were able to recoup without my phone. Now, upon returning from our trip we were told to call the shuttle number located on our parking ticket and only call once we are at the shuttle pick up area. I called and the lady who picked up said she was sending the shuttle. They are only a mile and half from the Airport. After waiting 30 minutes I called again and the lady said she sent the shuttle a long time ago and to be patient that it's coming. 15 minutes later it arrives and all is well until we get back to the garage. We had an older gentleman shuttle driver and he was very nice. He even loaded and unloaded our luggage. I gave him a $10 tip for his kind help. I asked him upon arriving and unloading the luggage what's the next process in getting our vehicle. He smiled and said you just have to go and find your parked vehicle and just leave your luggage in the waiting area with your family members to load your luggage after retrieving the vehicle. I assumed the keys were left in the car because he didn't mention I needed them. The sad part was I had flu like symptoms that I suspect I received while visiting the Grand Canyon. Needless to say I carried on to find my vehicle in what was a scavenger hunt with vehicles double parked and many completely blocking the other. Had I known the garage was 6 floors I probably would've thought otherwise. I finally made it to the last and final 6th floor in the open air area located outside thinking my car has to be hear since I thoroughly checked every floor all the way up. NOT! I was fuming because of the long walk and scavenging to locate my SUV. I decided I wasn't going to walk back down as I was gasping and my flu like symptoms were getting worse. I was going to take the elevator back down to give the parking people a piece of my mind. I got to the elevator area and the sign says elevator not working. According to some of the other reviews it hasn't been working for a long time. I had to go back the way I came up so again I double checked to see if I made a mistake in not finding my vehicle to scavenge again all the way down. When I finally made it all the way back down and to the parking attendants area Mr Woodstock once more was there to greet me. I told him I went all the way up searching for my vehicle and couldn't find it. He asked if I had my keys and I said no you guys have my keys. I left them in the vehicle like you asked. I told him that the shuttle driver told me I had to retrieve my own vehicle so I suspected that the keys were left in the car. He said I should've asked the parking attendant or himself and he would've gone to get my vehicle. Again fuming and boiling at the mouth I finally had it and said a curse word sentence, " What kind of fu@/ing business are you guys running here." "I'm sick and I'm tired and I want my vehicle! Mr Hippie Woodstock with another cigarette in his mouth told me to wait here and he would go retrieve it. After finally getting my vehicle back we headed out and stopped at the booth to ask for a managers name and number. The young lady there said "NO! We don't have a manager and that I should leave. Turns out, that you have a reservation, if there's no room, you wait in line until someone leaves, otherwise you wait. This is our first time trying a place other than Aladdin. What a mistake! When we arrived, there was a long line of empty cars and there was no place for us to park. I was worried we were not make our flight in time. They only had somebody working the booth and the shuttle driver. It was terribly unorganized. Fortunately, it worked out and we caught our plane in time. When we got to the pickup curb, the shuttle driver was pulling away. My husband yelled loudly, "hey hey hey!" so he could hear him and would stop and take us back to our car. The driver started yelling at us. Saying,"you don't have to yell at me. I'm not an animal. You people don't treat me right. " We explained he had yelled because the driver was leaving and he had to be loud in order to be heard over the noise. The driver obviously had a temper and I started shaking. I hurriedly put our suitcases in the back. The driver came around the back and he told me my husband had an anger problem. I said my husband is an old man and was just yelling to get your attention so you wouldn't have to come back. The driver was egging my husband on and trying to get him to hit him. It was beyond belief! He said something about us being rich people yet I am a high school teacher! We had a quiet ride to our car and stopped to pick up one other passenger. The driver said something about waiting for us for 10 minutes. I guess that ticked him off. When we got to Laurel parking, my husband complained to the booth attendant who didn't offer any help. At one point, The driver started slapping himself in the head. I was afraid he was going to claim that my husband did that to him. I told both men that the driver should not be working with the public. He is a loose cannon. I told him I felt sorry for his wife. He said he felt sorry for me that I was married to such a man I could tell I was miserable. I told him it's actually the opposite! I was afraid for my safety, my husband's safety and what this crazy man might do to our car which was valeted . We just hope that this guy doesn't work with the public in the future! The price is right, but the rude attendants make it a miserable experience. The male attendant that others have complained about is psychotic. When pulling into the parking garage from the airport, they were pedestrians crossing the sidewalk. He proceeded to roll down the window, and cussed them out stating that he was from barrio Logan and would have them killed if they didn't get out of his way. When my husband suggested that everything was OK and not to worry about them, he told my husband "well then fuck you too". I called this morning to ask if the owners are aware of the yelp page and the experiences of its customers. I explained that many of us have had issues with the same guy, and it's ruining their business. I said I would love to come back, but I will not be if that guy continues to work there. The woman said he's going to keep working here, so just don't come. NOTED! Aladdin is a little bit more expensive, but they provide amazing hospitality, nicer restrooms, and more shuttles to the airport. Shuttle wait times can be extraordinary during busy times (30-45 minutes) and shuttle driver clearly took plenty of smoking breaks (rather than drive). But the kicker was that the lot was full when we arrived and so I let them park my car (handing over my keys). I had just purchased my registration tags that morning at AAA and left the sticker, the tags and the original DMV bill in the glove compartment. When I got back home and went to apply the sticker, my registration sticker, tags and DMV bill were gone. Either one of the attendants stole it, or they didn't lock my car and someone else stole it while it was parked in their garage. Super frustrating. Not worth saving a few dollars a day.
