I went to the Venice one and the spot was actually much bigger than it looked from outside. Alex, the trainer for my Run and Lift early morning class, was super welcoming and totally delivering top-notch first-timer experience for me, paying detailed attention that I got the instructions correctly and did the right movements. The intensity of the workout forced me to my limit, but they did let people do it on their own pace. The complementary facilities like locker, shower room, and even free towels made bunch of plus points, though one downside might be I'd prefer it to be cleaner (read: the women's bathroom might need more frequent cleaning especially with shedding hair). You did have the option to indulge post the workouts by getting their smoothies, which was also available to be pre-ordered and tailored to your preference by customizing the ingredients. Not to mention, the Venice one had plenty of free parking spaces!

As someone who did not have a strong foundation in the gym, I was looking for a trainer who could create a bespoke program and help me master form from the ground up. From day one, Whitney was encouraging, thorough, and helped me feel welcome in an environment that had at one time brought me a lot of anxiety. She was able to diagnose the muscular imbalances that were causing pain, and we set out on a routine that truly transformed my life! I, like many of us, spend a lot of time working on a computer and my posture really suffered from it. Whitney focused on strengthening and lengthening muscles that were previously pulling my head and shoulders forward, which has reduced a ton of neck & upper back discomfort and improved my posture overall. She also helped me build strength and better muscular balance throughout my lower body and abdomen. Over the 7 months we worked together, I lost 30 lbs of fat and gained 10 lbs of muscle, while also eliminating the lower back pain I had been struggling with for years. I lost 6+ inches from the areas that were causing me the most insecurity, and gained definition in my glutes, shoulders, back and legs. My time with Whitney recently came to an end after I moved to another part of town, but I would absolutely still be working with her if I could. All of the "limited class" options have 24/7 gym access. The flyer does not mention that they count any gym check in as a class. Their instructors are not aware of this policy and so the sign up process felt a a bit like a bait and switch. I brought this issue up with them and they agreed the flyer was incorrect and should be fixed, but they are still handing the same flyer out two weeks later. Anyway I think it's a good option if you want a CrossFit gym that allows 24/7 access.
