Hygienist staff is great as always. COVID precaution level is... not so great anymore; waiting room had lots of unmasked people, including customer-facing staff. I have a medically vulnerable spouse, so that's really Not Okay. What bumps this back up to a four-star review despite the unmasked non-medical staff (and would make it a five-star review if it weren't for same) is the medical staff and facilities. Dr. Schumacher and her hygienists have always been great, and the milling equipment to make crowns on-site is a first among the dentists I've used; it makes what might otherwise be a week+ of multiple trips to get an externally-made crown just right a single-day affair. read more

I had a filling fall out that a previous dentist did. It wasn't prepped well in the first place, and since switching to Dr. Schumacher they have been taking great care in watching it. So when it fell out while flossing this weekend they got me in ASAP and repaired me tooth. I was sore for not even a day (which is impressive because I think the filling was in a funky place) and was eating solid foods instantly. Dr. S and her team gave me quality advice on products I should buy and use (not just what they sell). Her team is well organized and I appreciate everything they do! Extremely clean and friendly place. This is an efficient and calming for those who dislike dental visits. COVID precautions are in place and I felt safe there (hospital quality air filters in each area, clean facilities, wearing masks properly). In June, I went to the visit the dentist's office of Laurie Schumacher. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 7 years and was very nervous. The staff was amazingly gentle and caring and even better, my cleaning was done much quicker than I thought (and I had x-rays done). They walked me through everything they were going to do, so I felt calm. And after my cleaning, my teeth gleamed like they were professionally whitened!! I was given a small swag bag on my way out and I actually can't wait to go back in December. The experience has made me want to go every six months like you're supposed to. The receptionist/ assistant/ check in person (Andrea) ... is not friendly at all, after getting a bad attitude from her over and over on the phone I just decided to move on today to my search of a different dental office. Drove for an hour and a half to get there, called them to let them know I was having a bad traffic situation; just to have a person who hates her job made me feel really bad. We are people!!! Humans that can not control traffic!!!! Is not easy to take time off from work to try to attend the Dr, and then on top of that...to have someone treating you like you are the worse for contacting them to let them know that you are late, and stuck on traffic ....no thanks! I came here after seeing the reviews and the close proximity to work. I decided to get a cleaning and a regular check up. Also after seeing the reviews, I saw that people were complaining about the long wait so I decided to add 45 more minutes than what my appointments at other places to be. My dental cleaning I believe with Taylor went well and she was very thorough. The sand blaster was interesting and I ended up with it in my ears so I might opt out of that but overall great. As soon as I was done I could hear the dentist moving to assist one patient next to me but I remember that they guy who was brought it a minute before me in the other room. So after about 15 minutes I asked the hygentist how long it would be. She said that she would be in next but I pointed out to her that there was a guy seated before me so I know I'm not next. I politely said that I could come back but they told me to stay put so after 15 minutes she came over. So after 1 hour 30 minutes I was happy and anxious to see her. She looked in my mouth rather quickly and she looked ready to go. She said I had no issues but I hope I didn't have any issues and if I did I would be worried if it would be done correctly. I gave this place a chance and I would have to agree with previous reviews and I think I will try another place that gives me time and does not make me feel rushed. read more
