However, when the new tenant moved in, they found that the kitchen cabinets had not been cleaned at all. Unfortunately, the previous tenant had left the cabinets quite messy, so I had to reduce the new tenant's first month's rent. She told me her minimum fee was $100 and asked what else could they clean to make it right. Long story short, it was by far the best quote I received so I booked for today. The two people who cleaned went above and beyond (I think, more later). My bathroom and the one on the main floor as well as the one on the third floor are sparkling! Just to add a tip here: they don't give a "window" appointment, so when the cleaning crew finished another job early, Helane texted to ask if they could come but it was an hour and 15 minutes earlier. We weren't ready! We had so. much. stuff. The clutter struggle is real. Here is one more, very important tip: the "lead" cleaner spoke a little English but the other one I think none. It was delightful to listen to them speaking Portuguese! But if I was doing this again from scratch, I would ask the boss to come to the house so we could be very clear what was and wasn't to be done. I honestly don't know what they were told, but if it was their normal cleaning routine it was beyond excellent!! I just didn't know - having never hired anyone for this before - what to expect or how to direct them. Will we have them back? You bet. However, when I began to move in and put stuff away I noticed that the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned at all. I ran my finger across the bottom and there was so much dust and debris. The same goes for all of the light fixtures. It seemed like they didn't dust anything and just did a surface wipe down. I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. Looked like they got a splash of water and a prayer. When I asked about the toilet knobs, he said he couldn't clean them... not sure if he meant physically or spiritually. Nicole Harlick reached out to me gave me a quote for $425 we went back and forth about the house and I told her this isn't a one person job. long story short they did not give me a renovation cleanin. Also, she complained about the square footage of the house and it being filth! We just bought a project and it needs work. She was NOT prepared and they didn't finish cleaning the house. cabinets dirty, stove dirty, they left a I vote sticker on the cabinet she claimed they cleaned and she asked for more money prior because she got to the house and still didn't finish the job. I requested a refund for the additional money she requested and she complained. I was blown away by her lack of professionalism. DO NOT hire! Also, don't take the job without being equipped to do the work. I have tons of pictures of the filth they left behind. I would not recommend, I would not hire again!
