Spent my Mother's Day just how I liked outside. Sun, wine and food trucks right up my alley. Yes it was very crowded but hey the event was outside. I enjoyed me a lobster roll, truffle fries and Sangria. Lines were long but thank god L'Acqario food truck was right next to the wine tasting trailer. I ordered my food then hopped on the wine line so probably between the two lines I stood for 25 mins while my son was stuck getting wings for about an hour. Always a great time here. I meet with some coworkers and kids to have an adult play-date of some sorts. The weather was beautiful and only highlighted the landscaping of the farm. We tried so many wines but the sangria and the red blend were my personal favorites. I also enjoyed the fact that there were so many food trucks to choose from. A little bit for everyone's tastes. I specifically loved that they had a cigar vendor that does hand rolls and they weren't over priced. Usually go wineries a few times throughout the year but this is one that I will definitely revisit. Came here for one of their food truck festivals it was the Latino festival. There was an OK amount of food trucks. I definitely suggest getting there before 5pm if you want to enjoy the food because the food trucks did run out of some food items. This winery is a nice size and is family friendly because they have many play areas for the kids. They do have some seating that is provided but many people brought blankets and chairs to sit in. I came here with a group of friends and we had fun. I wish they played Latino music from the beginning but they were playing country music but it was a Latino festival. As soon as they played the latino music everyone got up and started to dance and seemed to have even more of a good time. Tickets for the festival aren't too expensive plus you get a souvenir wine glass. The bottles of wine and sangria are on the pricey side and will run you about $30. read more

My wife and I went to Laurita on a Saturday evening for line dancing. Before we went dancing we decided to have dinner and a wine tasting. Our bartender Mark was very helpful and polite. I really like dry red wine and all the ones I tried here were very good. My wife likes the sweets better and she said all of them were good. For dinner we ordered wings. There were lots of wings in the order and the rub on them was very good. They came with a side of blue cheese and buffalo sauce. We also ordered the veggie sandwich with fries. The sandwich had a lot of flavor. The fries were very good. The building is a cool barn. It's a very large building and they have lots of tables. On the night we were there there was only one bar open but there were many bars. I'm looking forward to going back in the summer to walk the grounds of the winery. read more

We came over Mother's Day weekend and had a wonderful time! We got glasses to keep which was included with the entrance fee ($15). We wandered inside and did a tasting and then bought a bottle to enjoy outside. All ages are welcome here which is very convenient for any parent. They have a huge outdoor area with fire pits, live music, playgrounds, and plenty of seating! It felt like I was camping out there! Don't worry if the weather isn't the greatest the day you go. They have a ton of indoor seating as well. When we went, there were food trucks open but if not they have a little area to order food. The organization of the event could have been better. When we first arrived it wasn't clear where the line was to pay for the entrance fee, and nobody was checking that people paid. One of the workers at the tasting said that several people were let in without getting a glass. Several fire pits were not being attended to as well and were dying out. They do offer tours of the vineyard here that I'll be looking forward to do the next time I visit! read more

I've always wanted to check out Laurita, and we finally got there! It's very impressive inside and out. They always seem to have something going on. The day we went there was a vendor show and a musician during the day. We were greeted when we walked in and told about the winery, then we stopped at the chocolate wine tasting station and were greeted by the man at know and friendly lady there. The chocolate wine was delicious! From there we headed to the bar and shared a tasting. Everything we tasted was really good, and we ended up with a bottle of unoaked Chardonnay and Blueberry. We took our bottles to a table in the back near the music. We didn't eat while we were there but they did have food available and it looked good walking by. read more

You practically are paying here for the VIEW. The wine was OK. The view was amazing. But this place gets TWO stars for two reasons only: The bartender. You can tell she was annoyed. Most wineries, which is the reason why we went there, take their time explaining different options, why one wine is better than the other one, etc. To her credit, she was in the bar ALONE. Granted it was a Friday afternoon, but you would think the owner will know this and make sure he has enough staff. When we got there the place only had two more tables outside to sit, this would had been an indication they are busy, we were a party of 4 and we wanted to try some options, bartender was annoyed with our questions, our requests, and had another two couples waiting "on line" and she just wanted us to "make up our mind" ‍ Second thing the food.. REALLY? Five options for food is all we had: sandwich, salad, ONE option of cheese platter. Maybe I'm being too hard on them or maybe my experience in other wineries has tampered this review. But I'm NOT new to the "winery" world, and most places have a BIGGER selection and BETTER service. Sorry, I'm never coming here again. Maybe is great in the weekends?? We were told there will be a food truck outside and music on a Saturday.. then if they are gonna give such a poor service, they should be open ONLY in the weekends? Just my take on it. This is my favorite winery. They have a great selection of wines there is something for everybody. As pictured, my 3 favorites are the chocolate wine, white Riesling, and red sangria. Its an ok looking place pretty janky for the most part but it is what it is. Concrete benches are comfy..... personally my 3 star is because I do not think any alcohol related thing should allow children. This is an adult type of thing i dont need screaming children its incredibly annoying. Otherwise live music while some enjoy is also a no for me personally. I walked in and this very nice gentlemen at a booth was trying to talk to us and we could not hear a thing he said over the music. They had a bunch of food trucks and it was parade packed. Bring your chair, a blanket, and to enjoy the live music and scenery. The bottles range from $24-$35 on average. We had an awesome time at the Luau. There were many food trucks to suit different taste/food preferences. The grounds include picnic benches, play structures, and grass area for lounging. The fire pits were closed for the event. We brought a blanket and many people brought their own chairs. I started with a glass of sangria then we split bottles of the Tailgate red and Down the Shore. I've been here several times and now feel like it's fair to write a review. I've gone on festival/event days and just regular days. My first complaint is that the line is always crazy inside for the restroom. How can you allow so many people on the premise and not have more locations of restrooms and no I won't be using a porta potty. They had the bacon fest today which had several food trucks. Not many options for my vegan friend. I wish there were more table and chair options by the main building would have stayed longer if we had a more comfortable place to sit. The wine doesn't really do it for me here and I've tried several kinds each time I visit. For me, I'm coming more for the events, not the wine. read more

After having Laurita Winery on my list for years, I finally visited! My boyfriend and I visited for their October festival which had a bunch of food trucks, live music and endless wine tasting. Let me start off with, we had such an amazing time. I saw kids enjoying the play area, adults enjoying wine tasting, line dancing and foodies taking their pictures. You can bring a date, your kids, family, friends, etc. to enjoy a day at the winery. They have benches and tables where you can lounge out or you can bring your own chair or blanket. I purchased my tickets online ($12-$14) in which I think are $2 cheaper than in person but you can purchase tickets in person as well. Once you confirm you purchased tickets, they give you a wrist band and a free wine glass. Guests who are 20 and under attended for free. They have a shuttle and a trolley that takes you to the main area or you can enjoy a nice stroll. When we got there, I was so overwhelmed in a good way. Between the wine tasting and the food trucks I didn't know where to start. The wine tasting line was pretty long about a 30+ minute wait so we got some food and waited on line until it was our turn. I was expecting a more intimate wine tasting experience where you sit down and they describe each wine, but I would have to do more research on where I can do that. Their wine tasting was a bit different where you choose 6 wines you want to taste for $10. You can rate the wines you chose and head up to the shop where you can purchase them. The sangria is my favorite! If you plan to enjoy your wine at the winery, they give you a pail filled with ice to keep your wine chilled. I have to give a kudos to the staff working the event. In some areas, like the shop, you can tell they were severely understaffed but the bartenders definitely handled it well! At the food trucks, I ordered cod fish fritters and empanadas. They had so many choices from Italian to dessert, there was something there for everyone. They also had a tractor ride around the vineyard which is relaxing. Next time you're planning a date night whether it's with family or friends, I suggest Laurita's! read more

Came here for an 80s party with my girls and had a blast .. Wine was good people were friendly but there are some things you would wanna know when coming here .. We booked a hotel close by and took an Uber just to find out it's impossible to get one to go home .. Want to post this review mainly for ladies like us who were stuck outside in the pitch black waiting for an Uber to possibly pick us up while the manager and staff just left .. So a designated driver is a must because you will be stuck alone outside and it was a bit scary and cold at 12am .. The winery is very nice The place is a little confusing when you walk in, right at the entrance all the patrons stand waiting with numbers for the food they ordered, a much better system would be numbers you put on your table with a server delivering the food to you. Once you walk past the crowd you enter the bar area one against each wall, the one I picked did not have a friendly bartender and I ordered a glass of red, I wish I was told flights were available. They had a St Patrick's day event going on but nothing really special about it, some Irish singer in the dining area and a couple of vendors throughout. After visiting several times, I finally got the hang of this place. If you go on a holiday or event weekend prepare to cool your heels in line. The grounds are beautiful but the wine itself isn't really worth the wait. Tastings such as they are, are cattle calls and the available food options are theme park expensive. Their chocolate peanut butter therapy is so good that there is a dedicated tasting booth in the middle of the tasting room. This place is a nice picnic spot and we can spend a whole day. read more

Went to Easter Brunch. Food quality was average at best. It was $60 plus tax and gratuity, so really $75 a person. We were just shocked that soda not included, it was $2.00 a can. Surprising gem for a day visit in Ocean County. Have lived near the shore for close to 40 years and have seen this winery's products at multiple festivals but have never visited the winery which is in western ocean county out in New Egypt. There among the vines rests a hidden gem of both beauty and education. You can tour the vineyard where you ride through the vines and are educated about what goes in here, go to the tasting room to taste their products and buy the wines, and even have lunch. A beautiful and calm setting that I didn't know existed. read more

I came here for the Mother's Day grove event. The grounds are stunning. However, the line to get wine.... I waited over an hour. The worst part was watching people create a new line. Came here for the first time with some friends and had a great time. We did the wine tasting and enjoyed sampling 6 for $10. The Windswept white wine was very refreshing and light, perfect during this summer heat. Loved the other variety of wines as well. We also enjoyed listening to Wade Preston (Billy Joel cover) in the Grove. I was very happy that area had plenty of picnic tables under shaded areas. It definitely made for a more enjoyable experience. The food selection was pretty good. Everyone I was with liked what they had. Would definitely come back for fun events in the future. read more

First timer and I loved the whole experience. Friendly staff, friendly people, easy to find, vendors had plenty of nice unique goodies,plenty of parking, large grounds, tour guide was funny, wine was delicious- and in my price range. The one man band had a great voice. I enjoyed the music. Wished I could hear from the grass area. The day was gorgeous. The only line was for food. Stuffed cupcakes looked real good. I went for the fig salad and wedding soup. It was satisfying. We looked around their shop. Decided after eating and the wine tasting to buy a bottle of wine and we enjoyed it out in the lawn. We were tempted to do the wine flight. But we did have an hour ride home. So next time we will start with that. The tour ride was funny and it only took 12-15 mins. And the line wasn't long. The grounds were beautiful and spacious. We met some fun ladies. They were having the time of their life, as we were as well. You certainly won't get super personalized service here but the service you do get is very helpful and friendly. This is a very large winery. Laurita holds festivals and events throughout the year. The grounds and tasting room are beautiful here. Came here for a wine stomping event and more recently for a tasting with a friend. We decided to do a flight, enjoy the live music and grab a seat at one of the many tables rather than stand for a tasing. Prices were reasonable and the pours were generous. We also picked up some cheese and crackers in the front. If you're looking for a lively winery this is the place for you. read more

My first time here this past Saturday. As I arrived I was charged $15 to enter. Then I took a small bus to the winery grounds. Once I arrived I saw a food trucks and a few tents of various vendors. Being a winery I wanted the wine! I found the wine tasting tent. As I approached with my glass I got when I paid the 15 bucks I was told the wine tasting was an extra 12 bucks! I asked what was the $15 dollar fee for ? The gentleman just shrugged his shoulders and said to get in? I've never been charged to gain access to a winery to just be charged again to taste the wine again! The food trucks were ok, the music from the band was playing 60s music and honestly we're not good. Laurita you spent good money on marketing! But it honestly was a waste of my money. I'll keep going to the wineries in south Jersey who don't charge a fee to walk in their doors and door overcharge for their locally made wines. 3 stars because of the food trucks taste but the wine not so much. read more

Finally was able to get here for the August 2018 food truck festival. This place is located near Great Adventure. We arrived in early afternoon. Quite a lot of people come to these events it appears. We were directed to a large field where parking was. Parking at the main house is reserved for VIP/ members only. You pay entrance ( cheaper online days ahead of time) you get a glass and a ride on tractor wagon to the event Large area.... plenty of things going on. Live band playing- this was an 80's event and they were doing covers . It was ok . There were lots of food trucks ... like 10 or so. I wasn't that hungry so decided to grab two empanadas - honestly I didn't like them because they weren't cooked to order. I get it- a lot of people to serve but I rather have fresh . Anyway I didn't try anything else as far as food Laurita .... I tried the sangria - it was ok I also tried the chocolate wine!!! OMG - that was probably the best chocolate wine I have ever tried and I've tried a few! I even bought a bottle . Can't wait to go back and get another!!! It rained a little bit on that hot August day so it put a slight damper on my afternoon. Saturday nights during food truck events have fireworks at night. I didn't stay that long. Just a few hours Ps- wear comfortable shoes or shoes you don't mind getting dirty - some areas are dusty and muddy if it rains .
