I think I've spent 4months or so total time admitted to the place. Maybe more. 99% of the time I get spectacular service and treatment from amazing doctors. Have only had 1 absolute terrible experience with the ultra sound department. That catastrophe alone is why I took a star away. Several cafes, gift shops, cafeterias, and little bodega-type shops are around the entire hospital. Free valet parking. Amazing people. Beautiful artwork and one beyond-awesome garden area full of blown glass art. Going to the hospital to see that area is worth a trip, even if you don't 'need' to be in the hospital. I live in South Sioux City, NE; two hours away. And I have incredibly easy access to health care in my town and Sioux City, IA. But, I come down to Omaha for my major health needs. That's how good this place is. I'm thankful for the doctors here that literally have saved my life. More than once.

I've had the same number for over twenty years, but that may be how long it takes for them to call you back. Because they are just too freaking profitable to care about their patients any more. Especially the Olson's Women's Center. I had my last 3 babies there, but knowing how they treat patients there now, I would deliver my babies at home, myself, before going there.

And…read morewhen I know I'm going to be here for a while this is my favorite place to stop the Buffett Cancer Center. They have such beautiful art and gardens. It's just so nice to forget you're in the hospital sometimes. I was having some testing done a couple of days ago and my Nurse Shamika, and radiology is the best. She was comforting, helpful, calmed my nerves and chatted with me while I was waiting for a quick test. Well not that quick. But she helped make me comfortable, I was able to relax and set my mind at ease. The other gals in radiology were also just as friendly and compassionate as Shamika. Oh, and I added pictures of my favorite cafeteria. If you're ever at this hospital for a long stay or at least a few hours. Stop by and visit the cafeteria on the third floor as you head to the lead Transplant center. The official name of this cafeteria is Nebraska Café. If you get lost, just ask someone for directions.

Think really does have almost everything you could need in healthcare: primary care, mental healthcare, podiatry, optometry, urgent care and more. The intake employees, in-person and on the phone, are friendly, helpful and always willing to help when the situation is complicated. If you check in online, you only have to give your name and then sit and wait for your appointment. I've been seeing Dr. Hill for over ten years, before she moved here, and she's the best PCP I've ever had. I started bringing my son and mom, who has quite a few health problems, to her and they would all say the same thing. She's an amazing physician, exudes compassion and will hook you up with the best specialist in Omaha for advanced care issues. I've also had great experiences from other providers in the building. What people fail to realize is that you have to vibe with your doctor. If you don't, see somebody else. But if you're the type of person the signs and laws about abusing medical personnel were written for, it might just be you who's the problem. Otherwise, billing has been more reliable and flexible than any other medical provider in the city, and I have very difficult insurance. Parking is abundant with lots of handicapped spots next to the front door. If I had any complaints, it would be that the portal software is clunky, but they are in the process of changing that. Despite this, I can easily and reliably communicate with my providers via messages. And they are quick to reply, refill medication or setup an urgent appointment. This goes for speaking to a nurse over the phone, which is accessible by one button. Also, don't overlook the (quick) urgent care! If you need help on the weekend, Think should be your first choice.

She made me feel comfortable, she answered all of my questions, and she seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say! Since then, I've gone back several times for different appointments and more recently visited a new Dr. Unfortunately Dr. Diamond moved on to a place closer to her home so I set up an appointment with Dr. Erin Ray. I was interested in a Doctor who had a holistic approach to care and I love that Dr. Ray is a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine. My first visit with here was wonderful, she complimented my tattoo which is a first from a Doctor, and I knew I'd feel pretty comfortable with her. She asked me several questions and throughout the conversation I realized that there were some issues that I could/did have that would be good to share. She recommended a few things and prescribed a couple of things to help and they've been great! Anytime I have an appointment or something to do here I appreciate that everything is in one place. There's ample parking outside, there's a nice coffee shop downstairs with delicious coffee and grilled sandwiches. There's great seating to enjoy your coffee or meal while getting some work done as well. Another great aspect about Think Whole Person is its proximity to the Aksarben shops. I usually don't frequent this area but when I do it makes sense for me to drive down to check out what's going on in Aksarben and the shops near by. I'm thankful I set up my healthcare here and am pleased that I can get all my bloodwork and Dr. visits, all in one place!

I went here yesterday for my neurology appointment for an issue I have had with my hand for a few…read moreyears. The doctor I saw was extremely rude and passive aggressive saying things like "You should feel lucky I let you stay there" to my boyfriend who was in the room with me. I had informed her I have a hard time with needles and she proceeded to pierce into my hand for the test causing it to be in immense pain. It still hurts and I feel she may have pierced into the wrong spot in my hand. Then at the end of it all she tells me that she mainly works as a headache specialist and does "this stuff" (nerve work) on the side. The only plus side from my visit was the people at the front desk were very pleasant and kind to everyone but other than that the rest of my visit to the neurological institute of this hospital was a mess.

They had a really cool vertical xray machine and it didn't take long to get in after I called. The woman "so-called" doctor was rude, short and did not seem to care whatsoever about my health and well being. I had a horrible cough, chest pain, and sinus drainage. She told me to take OTC allergy medicine and use nose spray. I went home extremely sick and ended up throwing up all night on top of it all. I will NEVER go to this clinic again!
