This restaurant is located inside the Bali Poshtel and has street parking out front and along the side streets nearby. The menu has both Latin and Asian influences, incorporating local fare. The chef, Jorge, has done an amazing job building this eclectic menu. The space carries the same design as the hotel itself attached to, transporting you to Bali without having to leave Puerto Rico! The space is large and can accommodate bigger groups of 8-12. The staff is super friendly and fluent in Spanish and English. Now, for the food. Get ready to tantalize your palate! Tried the cod croquettes, the bok choy side, and the filet mignon. All came out cooked to perfection with even better seasonings. You can't miss with any of the options frankly.

Wow. This place is absolutely spectacular. The whole experience was 12/10. The restaurant itself is so beautiful inside. Our server, Diego, was amazing for our 8 guest party. He had wonderful recommendations and we loved everything he suggested. The chef, Jorge Lopez, was very visible. He came to our table several times to tell us his stories around the food. Wow. This is a MUST when visiting PR.

Pasta Pappardelle & Chef's special with mahi mahi with corn purée and asparagus. The food was perfect.

We arrived to Puerto Rico after a full day of travel and entered Laut without reservations. Even though it was Valentine's Day, the hostess found space for us. Then the bartender, Nester, was super friendly and helpful with both our drink and dinner selections. It was a beautiful evening

Came here after a few busy days in Old San Juan and what an absolute treasure! Stayed at the adjoining hotel and had an amazing experience. The staff were attentive and very professional. Great ambiance in a beautiful put-together restaurant. Cocktails were on point...! We had the grilled prawns as an appetizer, amazing. .. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection, and the Parmesan cream on the scalloped potatoes was out of this world. My wife had the chicken fried rice which had such a great unique flavor and was very comforting. Chef Jorge came out and talked to us and everyone dining and made it such a personable experience. 5 stars would recommend and will be coming back next time!!!

This entire meal was fantastic. Every single dish was unique, interesting, and delicious. The chef was amazing and explained every dish to us. His passion and experience shine through. This was one of the best meals we have enjoyed in quite a long time.

I went for a light bite since I wasn't very hungry & it turned out to be a fairly decent experience. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere & I enjoyed looking at the artwork displayed on the walls. It gave the dining room a little extra character while I waited for service. Since I wasn't looking for a full meal, I sampled a couple of dishes. I tried the snapper but it was a bit on the dry side for my taste. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't have the moist texture I was hoping for.My fave dish I sampled was the shredded beef served in a crispy fried plantain cup(tostones rellenos de ropa vieja on the menu). The beef was tender, juicy, & packed w/ flavor. The crispy plantain added the perfect texture & really elevated the dish. The combo of the savory beef w/ the fried plantain worked so well together and made it the standout food I tried. The waitress was just ok (nothing particularly memorable). While the snapper didn't quite hit the mark for me, the shredded beef in the fried plantain cup was delish & stole the show. It was cool to check out the art & decor.

The flavor was so rich and savory. After that first bite, I had a feeling I was going to love their black rice and I was right. I ordered it as a side with my lamb chops, and it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious and well seasoned. The lamb chops were tender and juicy, the black rice reminded me of how my abuela used to do, and every dish that came to the table was flavorful from start to finish. I'd def recommend.

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. The Frutti di mare was one of the best pastas I've ever had! It had almost every type of seafood you could want. A great option for someone who wants to try a bit of everything. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! It's more on the fruity side. Our service was great and we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food, although it seemed busy. Whether you live in the area or are just on vacation, I would recommended trying it out!

The service was a little confusing at first. We were seated and expected to access the menu through a QR code, which wasn't immediately explained to us. We initially expected traditional menus, so there was a bit of uncertainty before we realized how the ordering process worked. We were also seated near one of the air conditioning units, which made some members of our party feel a bit cold during the meal. However, once the food arrived, all of those concerns quickly disappeared. The food was incredible. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, every dish at the table was delicious. The arroz con pollo was honestly the best I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly seasoned, comforting, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like authentic Puerto Rican cooking at its best. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it made for a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. While the service experience could be a little clearer and some seating areas may be colder than others, the quality of the food more than makes up for those minor issues. I would absolutely return on a future visit to Puerto Rico.

My wish that night was to find a place offering fried whole snapper and it was on their menu - and I even called ahead to be sure it was available that night. So I was hyped to try their snapper version, and it didn't disappoint. The vibe of the restaurant was that of a friendly neighborhood joint, possibly a bit retro time-wise. Service was prompt and informative. We both had cocktails, and Paige said it was one of the best whisky sours she's had. With the snapper - which was HUGE - I had an order of mamposeao, a rice and bean stew that was amazing. My wife's chicken parm also got a great review from her. We parked in the small lot directly in front of the restaurant, and there was an attendant to help with parking.

That kind of hospitality is rare and I can't say enough about it. Now for my one nitpick, and this is a me problem more than a them problem: I don't totally love Puerto Rican food. This is authentic comida criolla, which pulls from Caribbean, Latin American, and Spanish influences all at once, and my picky palate keeps asking what exactly it's trying to be. But the vibes, the people, and the setting made the whole experience more than worth it. Come for the criollo cooking, stay for one of the warmest rooms in San Juan.
