The decor is very nice and they offer a wide selections of appetizers, soups, rice and noodle dishes. We did notice their prices are higher than other Thai restaurants we have eaten at My wife had their Coconut Soup with chicken. It was very flavorful with a blend of coconut milk broth, lemongrass, lime, mushrooms and chicken. (17.95) I always have Pad See Ewe but this time I went with shrimp instead of chicken. I should have stayed with chicken..the shrimp were small and basically frozen from a bag with very little flavor. (18.95) Portions were small in my opinion for the price. We did notice a constant flow of pickups for takeout but since Simply Thai is not close to where we live, not sure I would make the effort to go back again.

In addition to what appeared to be another price increase, the portion sizes of our entrees were noticeably smaller than what we've had in the past. To top it off, both of our entrees tasted off and neither of us felt well afterwards. Pains me to say it, but I think it's time to find another go-to Thai place.

She even had given me a complimentary beverage with my food which was great since I realized I had forgot to order a beverage. The Chicken Drunken Noodles I had was amazing, there was tons of Chicken in it which is great since many other places will put small amount. The Philly Rolls had tasted extremely fresh and good, honestly the best sushi I had in a while. While the Gyoza was honestly hands down the best especially with the sweet & savory sauce that had came with it. Lastly, for the Honey Jasmine Green Tea it is honestly good, the taste of the drink might not be for everyone since you can truly taste a flower taste and not a sweet taste. But overall everything is a 10/10. I honestly can't wait to go back again.

The mini crab appetizer is like a better version of a Crab Rangoon and it's a must have. I'm not a huge soup person, but I always get the Beef Noodle Soup. It's filling and delicious. I could eat those leftovers for days. The staff is always so nice and food comes out prompt and piping hot. The restaurant is nice, not a big space, so usually end up getting take out.

They proactively asked what spice level we wanted in our meals. My husband had the Pad See Eiw lunch special and added shrimp. He also asked for thin noodles instead of the wide ones described on the menu. I had the vegan Mussaman Curry and added tofu, no peanut. Thai curries are a rare treat for me, because most Thai curries include shrimp paste and/or oyster sauce. Our nice server brought the Curry paste out for me to read the ingredients. The service was good, as well as prices and portion sizes.

Although the Tom Kha soup was tasty and I'm sure wasn't the culprit, it had three small pieces of chicken in the broth. The pad Thai was a whole other situation. I knew something tasted not quite fresh and the beef had a weird texture but I knew starting the next morning I had made a mistake. Six days, urgent care and IV treatment and testing confirms food poisoning from either vegetables not properly washed or undercooked beef. Seeing as all I had that day was toast and coffee at home that morning, this was it. As someone who never gets sick, just bummed the UberEats ratings didn't reflect what this place offers but I now see that I should have checked Yelp first! The dirty restaurant experience matches what happened. Beware.

They no longer serve tofu(!) and you can't get a Thai iced coffee or tea, either. The egg rolls are crispy and mostly noodles; the spicy Thai basil had delicious basil but wasn't spicy (I hesitate to order "spicy" at a Thai restaurant but apparently here one should). I was here early (4pm) on a Friday; the host fired up the kitchen for me. If you want Thai food while playing slots, this is a great place; if you're looking for Thai food full stop, you should probably go elsewhere unless you just need a quick pad thai or yellow curry. Ambiance is fine - seats are comfortable, there are wooden plaques on the walls...table seating only as the booths were torn out for the slot machines. $21 plus tip for egg rolls and spicy (not really) Thai basil.

Now the food : albeit, a bit oily, the dishes are usually very tasty and freshly made. BUT*** warning : I must say the dine-in service and pick up was absolutely unprofessional and rude. And time consuming. though I like to give people the benefit of the doubt (and perhaps he had a really bad day) the owner literally and repeatedly came into the restaurant, took over our order and came into my 78 year old mother's face and started yelling at her and called her a nasty old woman because she asked his wife the chef/COOK*-for extra mushrooms. And how dare we criticize his wifes cooking (which we never ever would or had done). !! In actuality, it was the second time my mother had to ask for mushrooms, as they were not put to her expectation the first time. AND-Nor were any added to the order the previous time we had gone and ordered via phone. Which we did not mention. So that's that. but if you do decide to try it anyway - be sure to specify if you do not want dish sauce or egg in the dishes, especially the fried rice. All the best !
