I've had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Linda and exploring Lost Creek Canyon Ranch. If you are in the area and would like to do a tour or if looking for a venue, I would definitely recommend this place. It has such beautiful scenery and the people involved with Lost Creek Canyon are such helpful and amazing people. If you have any needs they are willing to go out of their way to help you.

I had an amazing experience yesterday. I visited a 150 year old ranch that is located only 15 minutes away from Palm Springs in Whitewater. Lost Creek Canyon Ranch had its heyday in the 1890's as a resting point between the mines in Beaumont and Joshua Tree. It had all the conveniences, including a bordello. Since then it was owned by the Luckman family and the lady who restored Cary Grants home in Palm Springs. It fell into disrepair, but has been restored. It's 400 acres, and includes fruit orchards, chickens, goats, horses, and pigs who you can visit. It's a wonderful way to spend a morning .

As someone who's spent a lot of time here, I can confidently say this place's natural beauty is unparalleled. Every season has its own charm, but spring is my personal favorite--it's absolutely stunning with all the wildflowers in bloom. The staff are incredibly friendly and love sharing fascinating bits of history. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend a visit!

Linda shared stories of the ranch's history and explained the water system still in use where water can run uphill!

We came with a big group of families and stayed in several of the different casitas throughout the property, which was honestly perfect. We basically had our own little ranch getaway! Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. The kids had a blast, the adults got to relax, and having so much of the ranch to ourselves made the whole weekend even more special. Such a hidden gem in Palm Springs!!

The pool area with the back drop of the mountains is so beautiful. The saloon area is so nicely done and the accommodations are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. It's also great because there are so many casitas so multiple families can rent the homes and enjoy the property together. It's also so nice seeing all the horses and other animals on the property which makes it fun for kids. Can't wait to come back!

Found this company a couple months ago when inquiring about a wine tour to Valle de Guadalupe…read more Unfortunately, they were booked out but Jane was kind enough to not only connect me with another person in the industry who could offer the tour location we wanted AND offer us a package for a different location. I was truly blown away by her transparency and her communication so I decided to proceed with her company. It was super easy to coordinate the logistics and itinerary. Not only was the itinerary perfectly curated, but she went above and beyond to make my group feel celebrated and appreciated. She congratulated my group on our accomplishments and even got me a cute "bride" headband to celebrate my recent engagement. Very sweet and thoughtful! In addition, safety is clearly a top priority. The date we chose happened to be an extremely hot day and Jane took initiative to rearrange our itinerary to make sure we could still enjoy the day and keep as cool as possible. Lunch was catered from a local farm to table local business and it was absolutely delicious- definitely make sure you have enough appetite to enjoy it! We also paid extra for a wine and cheese pairing and we are SO glad we did. Some things to consider/ tips: 1. Our day started a little rocky due to inevitable traffic and a wrong turn, but Jane quickly resolved the issue with the driver and we had a great time moving forward. If you have the option to board your shuttle early definitely do it. 2. Time at each winery is pretty limited.. you won't have too much time to take all the photos you'd like AND sit and enjoy your tastings per winery visit.. if you're determined to get a good selection of photos bring your glass with you and do your best to keep up with those just tasting. There were a few moments we felt a bit rushed because we wanted to do both. 3. If music selection on your shuttle is important to you, have the person in charge of tunes arrive to the shuttle early to set up the blue tooth. It was trickier to set up than we aniticpated so there was a good 20 minutes of silence and troubleshooting happening as we were on the road Overall, Jane is a SUPERB host and does everything in her power to make sure you have the best experience. If i wasn't moving soon I'd definitely want to book this experience again!

Although we hired them as a "day of coordinators" Allie began working with us early to be sure all vendors were in place and kept meticulous track of all necessary details. During the wedding reception she checked in frequently to make sure all was well and at the end of the day made sure all the MANY wedding decorations etc got safely to their destination. If you are looking for a wedding planner who is the most organized, kind, reassuring, and fun…read moreperson you will know, then Nicolette is your girl!!! My husband, family, and I absolutely loved working with Nicolette! She made wedding planning so fun and not stressful, because we always knew that she was on top of it and had our backs. Nicolette is amazing at juggling the ins and outs of wedding planning and while also being sensitive and aware of the stresses and overwhelming feelings that can come up throughout the process. She truly is a wedding planner and a friend. We are genuinely sad that our wedding is over and that we aren't working with Nicolette anymore! She has excellent communication via e-mail, text, and Skype calls and is professional but also fun and positive. We were referred to Nicolette after my brother and sister-in-law worked with her for their wedding last year. We feel like she became a part of our family after getting to know her over the years! We always looked forward to our meetings with her, and would come out feeling like we had accomplished so much and could rest knowing that we were on-track with wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, Nicolette was incredibly prompt+to the schedule+fun when rallying the wedding party. She made sure that my husband and I got to eat all of the food and truly enjoy the party without feeling rushed around, which I so appreciated. She was also so good at helping to calm my worries and plan accordingly for rain that was forecasted for our wedding day. It ended up drizzling during our ceremony and she was able to flip our entire reception from outdoor to indoor. I always felt like Nicolette was on top of it so I never had to worry :) She made our wedding vision dreams become a reality, and it was even better than our dreams! She was also very skilled at sticking to our budget and finding deals along the way. We also worked with Carly during the planning process, who was amazing and so talented as well! We just think the world of Nicolette, and would highly recommend her to any family member, friend, or stranger!!! A huge thank you to Sparkling Soirees for all that you do :)
