GEL X nails only lasted 10 hours. They injured me twice, seem rushed, gave them another chance despite 2 "not amazing" previous visits. I prebooked a two person appointment, for 9pm, spent nearly $350 on mani pedi for my husband and I and also Gel X nails for me. This time was extra disappointing; straight away the tech cut me with the drill while taking off my previous set ( done somewhere else and lasted a month). This morning not even 10 hours later I noticed my left pinky nail is already lifting and this evening others are lifting as well. These are EXPENSIVE nails it's GEL X and they didn't even last 24 hours !? I don't want to go back but I do want a refund so I can go somewhere that knows how to do nails. read more

As this was a while ago, I do not have any photos of the nails, but they were done very poorly. I had the least relaxing experience of my life at this salon, but decided to bite my tongue and not leave a bad review detailing my experience. That changed when on day 4 of my manicure, my gel started peeling off my nails. I wanted to give this place a chance as it is close to my work but I will sadly not be going back here. I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure. It hasn't even been a full week and there gel is already chipping and peeling off. I am religious about my nails and find that my gel nails always last a minimum 2 weeks, but usually closer to 3. The nail tech didn't soak my gel off despite me asking multiple times to soak the gel off as the previous color was remaining on my nails. She kept filing it and refused to soak it. Then at the final hour told me that I was right and she probably should've soaked them since the previous color was showing through the new color I selected. My nails were also very bumpy and the polish was bubbly and uneven since the previous polish was not completely gone. The nails techs were rude and seemed to not want to do what you asked, like cutting toe nails during the pedicure. The man doing my pedicure kept hitting my toes with the gel lamp when he put it over my feet and then would blame me, meanwhile he dropped it on top of my feet with no care or caution. He had to redo the polish multiple times because of this. The only reason I gave this salon 2 stars is because they do your manicure and pedicure at the same time, but I do not think that is a reason to come here. I am disappointed with my experience and feel that I have wasted $120. In short, there are many better places in the DFW area that are happy to treat you with care and listen to your asks. read more

We chose this nail salon since it was open later but we will never return! Our experience was awful and they charge way too much. Joyce was rude when my 6 year old daughter had to pee and told her she couldn't go. A 6 year old unfortunately doesn't have the option to hold it. She tried to up charge me on everything and continued to argue when I said no thank you. Two of us waited 30 minutes after our pedicures before sliding on our sandals to leave and neither one of our toes were dry which makes me think they did not put on a top coat. I had Lora today for my pedicure and she was very good!! She made sure the temperature of the water was satisfying and allowed me to take my time choosing my color. The foot massage was phenomenal while I was enjoying the chair back massage. Always a great experience... my former technicians greet me when they see me with such welcoming vibes. Honestly this place is horrible. I will not be back and will never recommend. Went in got VERY short french tip, they charged $42 for the set + $30 EXTRA for french + $5 for the nail shape and just got regular square ( not really a big deal) + $5 Nail length. The guy at the front proceeded to tell me that prices are told before you sit down, then calls the lady that did the nails to the front and I asked her if she told her the prices before she sat down and she said 'no, then back tracked and said yes'. Not to mention left nail polish on my fingers and didn't get it off. Had to do that myself. There are places that are BETTER AND HONEST about their prices. My experience with Cindy is always pleasant. She is such a beautiful person and so technically perfect with my nails and I have very hard nails to work with. If you ever need someone that can work well with small nails (that's are also paper thin) and make them look good Cindy is your girl. As I've said, she is amazing not to mention she can actually talk with you and that makes the experience all that much better. I love lavender nail bar ( love the vibes, the people, the friendliness). Every time I get a pedicure; It's always perfect. I recommend spending extra on the honey cinnamon one you will not be disappointed. My eight-year-old daughter goes with me and has an amazing experience as well. She has bad eczema so they can't give her the full treatment because of that, they don't charge us full price for it because they can't use all the fancy stuff (lotions, soaps, products) on her during a pedicure or manicure. The good news, it's in a great location. I was treated as if I was a VIP when I walked in, everyone was very nice. My bill was $113, and I left a 20% tip. The bad news...the lady cut my toe, and when I checked in on Yelp, I received a 10% off coupon. The Manager would not honor it. He told me it was old, and he had been calling Yelp to remove it. Those two reasons are for my four star rating. Otherwise, it would easily have been five stars.
